Creative Cloud won't let me reinstall DW CC

DW CC file corrupted so I uninstalled it.  Can't reinstall DW CC from Creative Cloud because only option is to update, and there is nothing to update.  Can't downlod a trial version because Creative Cloud see me as an existing customer.
Suggestions?

    Quading2390 make sure that you are browsing to the User/<UserName>/Library folder.  You can see an example screen shot below.

    I downloaded the free trial of creative cloud and used an email that I did not know was recently deactivated. Now, I am unable to even open the creative cloud without "confirming" this email, but cannot confirm because it no longer exists. I have tried to create a new account, uninstall and delete all files of creative cloud that previously existed on my laptop, and everything possible to be able to have a trial of creative cloud and other programs. I don't know how to
    detach this deactivated email from creative cloud on my computer. I also tried to reinstall creative cloud and when it popped up, it still told me to confirm that email. Please help!!

    Please provide the old Adobe ID which has been deactivated as well as the new one with which you tried to create Adobe ID by private messaging., I shall get it followed up certainly.

    had In Design trial > it ended > bought membership for Creative Cloud > downloaded app manager > it says ID is installed but on launch it asks for license as if I never  bought membership >> what is going on?

    Does "I can't get it downloaded" mean that the Adobe Application Manager still shows InDesign as installed after uninstalling it?
    If so you can run the Adobe Cleaner Tool which you can get from here http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html.

  • Creative Cloud isn't letting me re-install programs.

    I just got a new free trial for Creative Suite because I am a student, but I have had some free trials downloaded and installed on my computer before. When I tried to install programs like Premiere Pro or Photoshop with the Creative Cloud desktop app, it just tells me that I need to update them. Somehow the programs got deleted off of my computer, so I need to re-install all of them, but Creative Cloud won"t let me because it thinks I already have them installed. I dont know what to do because I cannot install them.

    This is what the log says:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud won't install

    Hey guys,
    I recently tried to install Adobe Creative Cloud but during the installation process it will suddenly quit on me. I tried it again, downloaded the installer again, rebooted my computer, but still can't get it to work. I do have other Adobe products on my computer that I can open but Creative cloud won't. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
    Here is as much information that I can provide.
    Again, nothing is popping out. The installation just stops.
    I am using Mac OS X 10.7.5
    I downloaded this off firefox, and yes I have tried downloading it from a different browser.
    Not sure what firewall or anti-virus system I have.
    This has not worked before
    I have not made any changes to my hardware.

  • Creative Cloud desktop keeps trying to reinstall updates

    Just over the last week or so, Creative Cloud desktop keeps trying to reinstall the same updates for Photoshop CC, Photoshop 6 and Bridge CC over and over again. As we do not have a fast broadband connection, this blocks the internet for everyone else at the same location for about an hour. I am running Bridge 6.0.1.6 and Photoshop CC 14.2.1. I thought I had wholly uninstalled PS6 on the machine in question (Retina MacBook Pro), so I don't understand why CC desktop is trying to update it. Updates have installed for each of the last three days, so I cannot imagine there is another huge update waiting to install again today, as CC desktop shows.
    In addition CC destop keeps losing LightRoom 5 from my Apps. I already had a copy of LR5, which came with a Leica Camera but just to make sure it was linked to my CC acount, I reinstalled it via the CC desktop. It was showing as one of my updated apps but this morning has dropped down to showing "install" again, even though the latest version 5.4 is defintiely installed, synched and working.

    I guess I'm a little mystified by this reply.  I've reported no problem signing in or out of adobe, nor have I experienced any.
    I've been going along with a creative cloud desktop and updates for over a yr now so not sure how my install would suddenly be 'faulty'.  Complete removal and reinstall is something like a days work if you have any related difficulties at all yet it seems to be the most often suggested remedy.
    Is there no chance of something that does not require a hefty input of my time getting the tools to work rather than using them, that can be done to remedy what seems to be something like a stuck routine in the install routines?
    Any other folks with an idea about this?

    Not to worry. When we Copy and Paste within a project, iMovie HD creates a new clip thumbnail for the Timeline/Clips pane, then simply adds a new pointer to the source video. The source material is not duplicated.
    When you Copy a clip and Paste a clip to a DIFFERENT project then Yes, the clip's entire source video file is duplicated. (When Copying between projects, be sure to Copy and Paste all the clips together so iMovie duplicates the source files just one time.)
    Next time, you might consider setting your iMovie 6 preferences to limit the length of imported clips to 3 minutes — or whatever duration you want. Then each imported clip will have its own source file. When you discard an entire clip its file will be discarded too, shrinking the size of the project.
    If you have no need to preserve the clips as clips you could export the project to a Full Quality movie that you import to a new project. Everything will arrive as a single clip, which may be okay here. Then discard your old project. The project will be smaller, containing just the stuff on the Timeline.
    If the Timeline contains most of the source material — just split into small clips — there may not be a lot of "extra" material in the project. To get an estimate of how large the Timeline really is, open the "Timeline Movie.mov" that's inside the Cache folder of the project in QuickTime Player. QT Player's Show Movie Info window will show the size of the material it represents.

    Please follow the below steps to remove the error message of "You have been signed out".
              1: Open Activity monitor from spotlight and end all Adobe related processes. You may find processes like AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier, Adobe Crash demon process.
              2: Open a Finder window, select Go>Go to folder option, type in ~/Library and hit enter.
                             (Windows:  [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE)
              3: Now navigate to Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/.. folder.
              4: Delete opm file under OOBE.
              5: Rename OOBE to OOBEold.
              6: Check if you have AAMupdater in the same location.
              7: Please rename it to AAMupdaterold.
              8: Click on gear icon on Creative Cloud desktop app and choose Quit Creative Cloud.
              9: Then launch it, sign-in and click on Apps tab.
    The error message will be removed.

    It turned out that there was a fragmentary Uninstall of cc desktop that was being installed by startup routine ( .exe or .dll only?)  that was not showing in task manager that was preventing me or fresh install from deleting old files. When I went through startup list and removed all adobe startup installs I was able to reboot and run "cc clean" and get it to completely remove  cc desktop. Was late and went to bed at that point. Before I was getting message that cc clean was unable to remove all of cc desktop.

    Did you succesfully download and install the creative cloud desktop and are having issues downloading apps, or are you stuck on the desktop part? Are you getting any specific error message? What steps have you taken so far and what do you see on the screeen?
    Can you tell me if you are using a Mac or PC and what OS version are you running?

I've tried logging out of my account and quitting Cloud then changing the opm.db file to opm.db.old in Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and restarting but still the same.   • Mozila crashed suddenly and now it won't start. it shows white screen only. It won't let me reinstal it, sys shows that every .exe file is corruped.

    I was listeninig songs on youtube and mozila and whole sys just crushed. I recovered sys but after that mozila won't work. It lifts up just mozila frame and it just won't work.     Try this. It worked for a few users after a drop.
