Creative Headphones-Am I some type of Freak Bo

Question

Well am I ?....the Creative earphones seem rather large and won't stay in my ears or I am walking around with freakish small ears on a big head and can't hear the people snickering at me due to the music ?,
What's going on,I saw a pic of the iPod earphones and they are way smaller,the creative ones need to be (almost) shoved in and then twisted to just the right angle till it's really uncomfortable,then hope that the slightest movement on the cord doesn't send the plugs popping out of my ears like a champagne cork.
Does anyone else have problems with this or is my physiology different ?......anysuggestions on over the ear phones(not full cup) that go on top of the ear for under $75 (US) ?

I thought theey were a bit big, too. And even once you finally get them in they sound pretty lousy, as do most earbuds.
For general use, I suggest Aiwa's noise cancelling headphones, about $70. (However I had a bit of trouble with mine. See below for more details.)
If you either don't need the noise cancelling or want something cheaper, the Koss around-the-back headphones WITH TITANIUM MEMBRANE sound great and are about $20. Koss also makes cheaper headphones that look a lot like them. I strongly suggest the titanium ones. They sound wonderful (better than the Aiwa ones) and seem durable.
About the Aiwa headphones: I was surprised to notice that they have normal plastic membranes. You'd think for $70 they could give you titanium. Anyway, they sound pretty good. However, sometimes when you're riding in a bus and it dri'ves over a bump, the sound causes the noise canceling circuitry to send a bit of a spike through the speaker. This makes sort of a loud CLICK-CLICK noise. After doing that maybe 00 times, the speaker membrane weakens in some way, and it starts clicking like that with quieter and quieter bass sounds, until it's clickity-clicking along with your music. Very annoying. I don't know if it was just a problem with my pair of them, or if it happens with all of them. Mine were a couple years old, way out of warranty, when it got unbearable. With a little experience with a soldering iron, it's pretty easy to replace the speakers if you can find cheap headphones with the same size of speaker. I had to expand the hole in the plastic, but I was able to replace the speakers with the ones from the Koss headphones. (You have to get the polarity right or it will amplify noise instead of cancelling it.) They sound better with the replacement speakers than they did with the original ones.
