Creative Inspire T900 problem, just 2 front speakers work when connect to a laptop

Hi everybody,
I have just bought a Creative Inspire T7900 system, it's in good quality I think.
But I just got a laptop without 5.1/6.1 or 7/ sound card ( one output only ), therefore i cannot use the 7.1 Audio Cable.
I tried to use a stereo-to-stereo cable to connect my laptop to the input in the wired remote but only the front satellite speakers work. Is that a problem with the Wired Remote ? Or the problem with the system ?
Can I laptop use all the speakers ?
Please help me, thank you very much.

There isn't any problem with the speaker system nor your laptop and it's normal. Stereo consists of only 2 channel and that's why you are experiencing output from only the two front speaker. You won't be able to utilize the full capability of the speaker if you don't have a 7.1 capable soundcard.

What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue? Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable?
What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?

Has this iPod ever worked on this PC or is this the first time you have time you have tried connecting it?
Have you carefully worked through each and every single suggestion in this Apple support document?

Internet stopped working when connected to Cisco VPN

Hi,
I have configured IPSec (Ikev1) Remote access VPN in ASA 5520, VPN is connecting properly and i am able to access all internal resources but Internet is not working when connected to VPN. I have investigated on this and found problem with the default gateway, i am getting ddefault gateway duringVPN connection. I am surprised in ASA there is no default gateway configured for remote VPN IP pool then how remote clients can get default gateway.
I am describing my problem in below given image Please help me to shootout it.

The top configurations is specified to Tunnel All traffic as you can see from the "split-tunnel-policy tunneall". In this case the Split Tunnel ACL is ignored to my understanding.
The bottom configuration is specified to use Split Tunnel but I cant see the ACL specified there.
To my understanding you should be seeing routes on your actual computers routing table for the networks that are reached through the VPN.
On a Windows machine you can open the command prompt and issue the command "route print" to view the routes
Here is an example when I am connected to one Split Tunnel VPN (click to enlarge)
To my understanding there is no default gateway in the virtual VPN interface configurations as the host forward all the traffic that needs to be tunneled to the actual virtual interface and from there on in it heads through the VPN Connection.
Here is an example what the VPN Client Statistics/Route Details tells me
Both Internet and the remote network/host behind the VPN connection can be reached.
What does the above window show for you in your VPN Client when active?

Creative Inspire 5300 5.1 Problems - Only Two Speakers Work 100%

I recently purchased the Creative Inspire 5300 5.1 speaker system for my home computer, thinking that a low-end setup would work fine until I gathered the resources to trade them in for something better. Upon hooking them up though I find that they do not work as I was led to believe. The front two corner speakers and subwoofer work fine, just as they would if they were a 2.1 setup, however the center and back speakers make no noise. I know I have them hooked up correctly as I can go into my onboard soundcard?s setup program and test them individually, but in actually practice they do nothing. Not with games or movies that are supposedly 5.1 enabled.
I'm clueless as to what the problem may be. Is it that I need a Creative brand soundcard, that may Abit motherboard and it'ss built-in soundcard are unable to establish the proper frequencies or whatnot? Perhaps I do not have the appropriate surround sound drivers installed? Any help would be vastly appreciated.

You may need to enable certain settings within your sound card to upmix the Stereo to 5.1. Check with your sound card support for further information. They should be able to assit you on this.

P5800 Problem [only front speakers & sub r working]

Hi, i'm portuguese so i hope i can explain my problem in order for u to help me. (sorry for my bad english btw..)
I bought a P5800 speakers system and installed them perfectly with the help of the manual, everything was double-checked and everything is installed fine.
So, i opened WMP10 and selected a mp3 file to listen.. but to my surprise only the front speakers and the sub were working. I thought it could be the cables that were switched, but no, everything is ok. I went to the sound options in the control panel and set the system to 5.1, but nothing happen. My soundcard is an Audigy SE.
What can i do to play music with all the speakers working?
Can someone please help me resolving my problem ? plz...

I have an Audigy SE and when i try to enable EAX in Creative's software MediaSource Player, a message appears saying "this feature is not available because no supported audio device is detected". Why does this message appear?.... I know my soundcard totally supports EAX.

Audigy 2 NX + Inspire 7.1 only side speakers work

I have Audigy 2 NX and Creative Inspire T7700 7. Speakers. However, the only the "side/headphones" plugin on the Audigy 2 NX seems to work. I have plugged in all the cables (front, rear, center) into this working side plugin, and they all work. I have my setup as 7. with digital audio disabled. Does anyone know what's wrong?

Well I am kind of disappointed with this USB soundcard. There always is something which prevent it from working properly. I try to explain the problem.
If you are watching a PAL DVD, the film's 24 fps is converted to PAL's 25 fps that causes a speedup of 4%. For instance WinDVD has a  Pal TruSpeed option, which  slows down the video and audio to the correct speed so people/objects/scenes don't move too fast and voices and music aren't higher in pitch.
Since the Pal TruSpeed feature stretches the video and sound it can't pass the digital sound or it would go out of sync with the video.
Which means, if your sound card is just able to work in digital mode (like you have suggested with enabling the digital SPDIF to external decoder) you won't hear any sound at all.
In such a case I have to choose the analog sound, which is in my case again just 2 speakers. If I had the Audigy 2 internal sound card, I am pretty sure I would be able to choose an analog 7. speaker setting, which is not possible in my case.
The only way to solve that would be to use optical cables passed to a real external decoder system. But dude I already bought the Creative Inspire T7900 7. speakers, but they don't have an optical jack.
Thats why there is always something what gives me a headache with this USB soundcard. I wish I had another solution for my laptop than USB sound.

Only Front speakers work with Vista and x

New Windows Vista, installed x-fi extreme gamer and only the front three speakers work on 5. system. Help, i tried and downloaded the update from Creative, no help, still not working, any fixes, i want my 5. like my old XP system allowed....

How to get 7.1 in W7 instead of just front speakers

Before buying my current X99S XPower AC I had a motherboard + Creative soundcard.
When using Windows Media Player it made the sound come from the 6 speakers + subwoofer.
Now with this mobo I can test all 6 speakers + subwoofer and everything is working fine.
However when playing music it comes from the 2 front speakers only.
Not even the subwoofer is being used.
I checked the settings in the soundcards properties in Windows, could set 7.1 , but it is only coming out of 2 speakers.
What do I have to do so I can hear some bass coming from the subwoofer and use the side and rear speakers too ?

With 7.1 video testes it is working fine.
Before I had a seperate Creative 7.1 soundcard and it playes stereo over all speakers + sub.
Now I am getting stereo out of 2 speakers with no sub.
This is with the drivers that came with the mobo.
I tried the Realtek 1150 R275 drivers too.
A lot of extra options where available in the Realtek HD Audio config.
And yes, the sub was working and surround too.
Only the side surround speakers do not work. That is : everything is max 5.1, even when set to 7.1.
Looking at the connectors in Realtel HD Audio they do not show side speakers connection , just line in, which was side speakers with the MSI drivers.
Help is appriciated.

I am running an original audigy on an intel motherboard. Recently only my front speakers have been working. When I run the creative Surround Mixer?test of?the 5. speakers, the front speakers sound fine, the center sound low and the rear comes out low through the front speakers. okay, try option-clicking on the speaker icon on the top of your screen. That should bring up a list of sound output options. including headphone. You could try messing around with Audio MIDI. It may be possible that the thing is still stuck inside the headphone jack. Careful use of a toothpick may get it unstuck. I dunno, I've never had a problem with the headphone jack. If all else fails, call Apple or take 'er in for an appointment
