Creative MediaSource can't seem to see audio C

Thank you in advance and I apologize if there's a solution posted somewhere that I couldn't find. I tried.
I have a Nomad Jukebox Zen Extra that I bought a year or so ago. Works great, I love it. I've always used the software that came with it, Creative MediaSource, to move songs from CDs to my computer and then to the Zen Extra.
But today I got on and Creative Mediasource seemed to have uninstalled itself. None of the shortcuts worked. So after several tries of re-installing, it seems to be back.
Except formerly, when I would have MediaSource up and put in a CD, it would immediately list Track , Track 2, etc. (and I would later use the web thing to get the names). If for some reason it didn't, I would go over to the Sources column, click on the CR-R line and then the Track , Track 2, etc would come up in the center column.
But now nothing shows up in the center column. So I can't rip the CDs to the computer. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the result is the same. Here's one thing I noticed: I accidentally left the installation CD in and when I click on that CD dri've, the list of folders immediately shows up in that center column. So it's seeing the dri've, and that CD, but not my audio CDs for some reason.
Can you please help? I guess from looking at this forum there are other software packages to use to rip CD and move music around, but this is the one I'm used to and it seems a waste to just toss it away and start with something else. Plus all my previously ripped music is in that PC Music Library folder.
Thank you in advance for whatever help you can give me. As you can tell, I'm not real savvy on all this and I've already wasted most of my Saturday on it.

Yes, he does have agile fingers and they are everywhere! I managed to find a solution to the problem by going to the Language section and resetting to black on white...

How to switch video angle ? I can only seem to switch audio

I created a 2 angle multiclip. I synchronized it using In-Points. Everything seems to work in the viewer (both angles advance in synch). I set Multiclip playback with unlimited RT and just RT.
I can ealily switch the selected audio (green outline) but I can't seem to switch the video angle (the blue outline always stays on angle 1).
I tried switching using the keyboard shortcut or buttons added to the button bar in my timeline. The green outline swtiches to angle 2 in the viewer even when I click the switch video angle button (same behavior as the switch audio to Angle 2 button or keyboard shortcut) then, when I click the switch video to angle 1 button, the green outline swtiches back to angle 1 (same as switch audio to angle 1).
Finally, if I select the timeline and try to switch video to angle 2 the system beeps, but everything works great on the audio side in the timeline (easily switching from angle 1 to 2 and back to one using the audio switch button.
I am using FCP 5.0.4.

Creative Mediasource can't play Chinese so

Recently I reformatted my computer and had to reinstall Creative Mediasource.However, now it cannot play any songs with Chinese characters in their names. src="http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/o246/yunyikaren/creativemediasourceprob.jpg">The Chinese characters in the song titles cannot be viewed and are simply replaced by question marks (E.g. "?The Kila" is shown as "? The Killa" instead) and when I click on it to play, there is?a black X beside the song and it cannot be played. Only the songs with no chinese characters can be played (E.g. 06 K-O). previous version of mediasource doesn't support unicode so you need to go to control panel and setup your computer language to support chinese for non-unicode program.
if not, just go and download mediasource 5 from creative website as that support unicode and should display chinese properly.

I can't seem to see sync my mac and iphone using iCloud with numbers and pages how can i correct this?

I've used Numbers and Pages for IOS for sometime now and when i use safari to look at my icloud account i can see all my files. Recently i bought Numbers for Mac and now whenever i create a spreadsheet on my mac i can't see it on my iphone but i can if i login to icloud. In fact i can only see about 16 files on my iphone when there is over 40 files.
Although i don't yet have pages for mac i now have a similar problem with Pages, whenever i edit a file or even create a file on IOS it doesn't appear in icloud.
I did think it was something to do with me not selecting backup to icloud so i then spent £14 to upgrade my storage to 15GB and that hasn't helped.
I've checked all the settings and can't see anythng that will cause the problem.
My iphone is running IOS 6 and my Mac is running Mountain Lion 10.8.2
Does anyone know how to correct this mess?

Problems with buttons and links at the top of the page not working can be caused by an extension like the Yahoo! Toolbar or a Babylon extension that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links and buttons in that part of the screen not clickable.

Open cards that I can not seem to see

I have no visable open cards, I have no access to apps because I have too many open cards, I have nothing but 5 icons on my phone front screen, the green phone the envelope the contacts calendar and a black arrow that opens applications, there is nothing open on the screen, and nothing to flick, where are these open cards?

For a device that uses solid state storage with a decent speed, there is no need to keep programs in memory after they are closed.
From my experience, in terms of use, the webOS is easily the best mobile OS when it comes to the UI, for performance, it falls behind the ios android windows phone 7 and windows mobile
HP could have had a extremely good tablet if they used a better front facing camera and added a rear facing camera (there not only good for taking pictures but they also work for scanning qr codes)
Then when designing the OS, have the company which created the CPU, to release a special batch for your developers where the firmware will be altered so that the chip runs at 300MHz max, then install only 128MB ram.
The reason behind this is, if you can get the developers too design a OS that runs snappy on that hardware, when it is put on the full 1.2GHz hardware with 1GB memory, it will be insanely fast.
I have attended programming classes in college and the modern programmers are taking a turn for the worst. hardly any effort is put into optimizing code to run fast, instead they rely on faster hardware being used to make up for the poor code.
In the "old" days, hardware did not have the exponential increase in speed, programmers had to write code that that used as little space as possible as storage was very expensive. Programmers also had to make the code as efficient as possible because processors were slow.
If programmers kept this mindset today, we wouldn't have operating systems that take 20GB of hard drive space and usee 1GB memory just for them self.
we also wouldn't have mobile OS that use 300MB memory just on them self.

Why can you no longer see audio clip names in the timeline in CC?

This is very frustrating, so I'm hoping there's a solution. I need to be able to read audio file names within the timeline...especially music clips. Why would they remove this feature? Is there a way to get it back? And while I'm at it, why do you now have to expand the timeline tracks to be able to read the the track names? (I label all of my track names, but obviously don't want them all expanded just to be able to read what I labeled each track...that would be one fluster cluck of a timeline since I have a minimum of 10 audio tracks at all times!)

Edit the contact and verify that the phone number is in a field named Mobile or iPhone. Sometime work or home is for email, not for phone numbers.

Okay so December of 2012, i got my iPad 2
No scratches, cracks, nothing.. All night and day today i have been watching movies and going on my social networks, then all of a sudden, my screen looked all funny like it had dropped, which it hadn't.
I turned it off, and back on, same thing. I'm not sure what to do at this point and don't want to spend a bunch of money on a new one.

If a reset doesn't correct the problem I would suspect some type of hardware failure in the iPad. As others have indicated try the reset. If the iPad still doesn't work take it to an Apple store to have it checked out. The diagnosis will not cost you anything and you will then better know what your options are.
Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

Creative MediaSource and ID3 t

Creative MediaSource doesn't seem to update it's internal database from ID3 tags. For example I ripped a CD and MediaSource failed to get the year of the album. So, I added the information to the Id tags using Winamp. I reimported the file into MediaSource but it still fails to display the year correctly. Does Mediasource ignore ID tag information accept to overwrite it's

Thanks, yes that worked. It's a nuisance that the updating doesn't occur automatically but it's much better than not working at all.

Slight Zen Micro/Creative MediaSource Organizer Prob

i have a 5gb zen micro and when i plug it in to add songs, it says device not found when I double click on the Creative MediaSource Organizer...but when i go to My Computer...it says that it has found Zen Micro Media Explorer and all the cords are tight and everyting
Could any one help me? espically SSR?

You will have to go to www.creative.adobe.com and login with your Adobe Id on which you have purchased the subscription.
You can go to the download center and then start downloading all the cc apps available. It will first download and install the Creative cloud desktop tool in your computer. This creative cloud desktop will show you the option to download all the CC programs, the updates, etc.

Cannot play audio CD with Creative MediaSource Pla

Hi All,
I recently installed an Audigy 2 ZS Platinum soundcard and the Creative MediaSource Player software. I also purchased Creative 5. Analog speakers. Have everything configured pretty well now and really enjoying the enhanced sounds!
My problem is that I cannot play audio CDs using the MediaSource Player. I can see my DVD Player and CD Player in the MediaSource Player 'Source' column and a list of all the tracks on the CD. (no track info, just track numbers and length)
When I double-click on a track it cycles through all the tracks and then places an 'X' next to each one in the 'Now Playing' list window. If I have other music files from my harddri've available, it will start playing one of them.
I've tried different CDs with the same results.
I can use both the DVD and CD dri'ves to play an audio CD if I use any other player (Winamp, Windows Media Player, etc.) and use both dri'ves everyday for loading software and reading files. It will also read the demo DVD Audio disk that came with the card using the DVD-Audio player they provide so I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with the hardware or drivers.
I've read all the info that came with the card and on the Creative Web site and have been through every configuration screen multiple times but haven't found a switch that turns this feature on.
Would like to get this working so I can standardize on one player that allows me to use all the advanced features of my new card.

A good way to see what kinds of things you might need for something like vlc is to look at the optional dependencies for the package.
