Creative Micro + WinAmp? Can I use

Can I use Winamp with the Creative Zen Micro?
any plugins/mods?

Unfortunately it won't work with the PlayForSure firmware, it only works with the PDE v.xx firmware.
So if I downgrade my firmware to the original one that came with my Zen Touch then I shouldn't have a problem using the winamp plugin? If so, are there any disadvantages to downgrading back to the original firmware?

    Hi Lynfordd,
As per your account details your CC subscription is active and it should work fine. I also found that your subscription is already activated on 2 machines, so if you are trying to install and activate it on another computer then you need to deactivate it from one of the 2 machines and then try activating it on your 3rd computer.
Please let us know if it helps.

  • Creative Cloud Student, can I use one membership on my laptop and desktop (two machines)?

    Hi,
I currently have a macbook and am subscribed to creative cloud (student). I am looking at buying a second machine (desktop) and want to know if I can use CC on two machines under my one membership? Obviously I am a single user and will not be using the two machines at the same time.
    Thanks

Cloud License allows 2 activations http://www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms.html
    -Install on a 2nd computer http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1452292?tstart=0
-Windows or Mac does not matter... 2 on the same operating system, or 1 on each
-Both computer Cloud subscription activations may not be in use at the same time

  • I bought Creative Cloud, but can't use Illustrator because it says I need a serial number.

I've read that my account should activate after signing in, but it doesn't work for me. What do I do?

    @350125 -
Here are several trouble-shooting methods that should get the applications activated again by your Adobe ID:
    A. Follow steps 4 and 5 of http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/convert-cs6-licensed-under-ccm.html:
    Launch the application.
Click the License This Software button.
See your Adobe ID in the dialog and click the Sign In button.
    B. Use the Adobe Application Manager to install a different application to trigger activation using your Adobe ID.
    C. If one application launches without asking for a serial number but another does, then from the application that is activated choose Help > Deactivate from the menu. Relaunch and activate either application.
    D. Re-install the Adobe Application Manager from here: http://www.adobe.com/applicationmanagerpatch/index.html. Then launch the application again.
If none of these methods resolve the issue then provide:
    Your operating system version.
The following three log files: PDApp.log, amt3.log and oobelib.log.
Email this information to [email protected].
Getting the log files on Windows:
    Open the Command Prompt.
Type mkdir Desktop\logs and press Enter. This will create a folder called logs on your Desktop.
Type copy %temp%\PDApp.log Desktop\logs\PDApp.log and press Enter. This will copy the file PDApp.log to the folder logs.
Type copy %temp%\amt3.log Desktop\logs\amt3.log and press Enter. This will copy the file amt3.log to the folder logs.
Type copy %temp%\oobelib.log Desktop\logs\oobelib.log and press Enter. This will copy the file oobelib.log to the folder logs.
Zip the folder logs using a Zip program like 7-Zip (available from http://www.7-zip.org).
Getting the log files on Mac OS X:
Open the Terminal (located in the Utilities folder under Applications).
Type mkdir ~/Desktop/logs and press Enter. This will create a folder called logs on your Desktop.
Type cp ~/Library/Logs/PDApp.log ~/Desktop/logs/PDApp.log and press Enter. This will copy the file PDApp.log to the folder logs.
Type cp /tmp/amt3.log ~/Desktop/amt3.log and press Enter. This will copy the file amt3.log to the folder logs.
Type cp /tmp/oobelib.log ~/Desktop/oobelib.log and press Enter. This will copy the file oobelib.log to the folder logs.
Type tar -czf ~/Desktop/logs.tgz ~/Desktop/logs and press Enter. This will create the file logs.tgz on the Desktop. You can safely ignore the message: tar: Removing leading '/' from member names.

  • I have the old Creative suite CS, can I use it with my new IMAC?

My new computer doesnt have a CD drive and I need to use my old Creative suite on it. How do I do so?

If it's the original CS version of the Creative Suite then, no, it's too old. That ran on PPC-based Macs.
Your new Mac is Intel-based and will not run PPC-based software.

  • What exactly IS Creative Cloud? Can i use Photoshop * all the other programs Adobe offers, by purchasing a membership?

What is Creative cloud? I Have Elements 11, but want Photoshop. Do I purchase the large membership to gain access to all programs?

It is Adobe’s largest software release since CS6 and it includes all-new versions of 14 CC desktop applications, 4 new mobile apps, the immediate availability of creative hardware and new offerings for Enterprise, education and photography customers.
There are hundreds of new features that are performance boosters, that make everyday workflow better, support for chanign hardware and formats, as well as some Adobe magic that customers have come to expect, like the new Blur Gallery motion effects in Photoshop

  • Zen Micro -- Where can i use

I was wondering if the Zen Micro worked well when say snowboarding or riding a bike?

    Bennetcq,
Jogging is definitely a bad idea due to the continual up/down motion, whereas I think the main risk when snowboarding/bike riding would be the potential for a fall.
If you snowboard down moguls or are doing rough trail riding I wouldn't suggest taking it along. If you are just riding on a smooth street or snowboarding down a fast trail (read: not jumping...etc) then the chance of damage is lower. Personally I would not take a HDD based player on either of these due to the fact that damage by a fall or heavy vibrations would not be covered under the warranty. This is more of the territory for flash based player like a MuVo 2 Cross Trainer or a MuVo Micro N200.

  • Can I use my Creative cloud subscription on multiple devices?

Hi, I am going to be subscribing to Creative Cloud but can I use that subscription on more than one device?
I sometimes use my desktop, sometimes my laptop or tablet etc.  Will my Cloud subscription allow my to use the software on all my devices?
Or is it a single device use only?
    Many thanks,
    Peter.

A Cloud subscription allows you to have two working installations at a time.  You can sign out and sign in to enable other devices but the limit of two remains in force.  Whether or not you can install on all devices depends on whether or not the devices meets the system requirements for the software.

  • Can I use my PC CS6 subscription on my new Mac?

Bought an Apple iMac as my PC was crap, can I use my subscription to get CS6 on my Imac or do I have to re-purchase?

    Hi DarrynFisher
A Creative Cloud subscription can be used on a Mac or PC.  However, if you have a CS6 perpetual license this is platform specific.  Platform swaps are available for current versions if you change operating system - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/order-product-platform-language-swap.htm l.

  • Can i use my mx 2004 files in CC

still using DW mx 2004 untill now but want to join Creative Cloud. Can i use and work with my mx 2004 websites in CC?

Certainly. Just define your site in DWCC to point to the same root folder as you did on your legacy version. Be aware that DWCC is almost nothing like earlier versions. It will require that you have more than a rudimentary knowledge of HTML and CSS to use effectively, and is very focused on valid code and contemporary methods (things that DWMX 2004 had no knowledge of!).

  • I'm in the trial period for Creative Cloud - I have about 19 days to go on Photoshop CC on my iMac.  Can I use the same CC trial on a second machine?  Specifically on a Windows 7 machine?

I'm in the trial period for Creative Cloud - I have about 19 days to go on Photoshop CC on my iMac.  Can I use the same CC trial on a second machine?  Specifically on a Windows 7 machine?

Nothing personal to you or Rajshee, but this is exactly why I absolutely despise these "community forums" (not just Adobe but any company).  I called the Tech Support phone line today after digging and digging for a phone number, and they told me the exact opposite, and they did it a lot faster than it was possible to get a forum response.  (That's really not personal, because you can't control that, but it's a fact.)
Their answer: As long as I'm signed in with the same ID, I can try, say, Photoshop CC on my iMac at home and also try Acrobat Pro CC on my Windows 7 machine at work.  Same account, same login, one trial.
This makes complete sense to me as I'm financially on the hook (potentially) for the same package.  If I give away my login to someone else, which I wouldn't do, I'm still on the hook.  This is why the cloud approach to software is such genius and I applaud it.
BTW, 99% of the "community forum" wrong answers come on Microsoft sites, so don't feel bad.

  • Can I use my creative cloud products on more them one system at a time (Mac and PC)

Can I use my creative cloud products on more them one system at a time (Mac and PC)
I want to use the premiere on my Mac and some times on my PC.
Can  I use it on other operating systems with one membership or do I have to purchase an other membership for my other system.   I am only working on one system or the other at one time.
    Thx

Are there any unique benefits that come with my paid membership?
Yes, as a member of Creative Cloud, you get many benefits that you do not get when you purchase a traditional shrinkwrapped product:
Access to both the Mac OS and Windows® versions of the desktop applications and the ability to install them on your primary computer and one backup computer. So, if you have a Mac at home and a PC at work, you can install your applications on both as long as they are not running at the same time. See the product license agreements page for more information.
