My center speaker is not working. Many people here state that activating CMSS will make it work. I however no longer have my SBLIVE software. I downloaded the Update to Creative Playcenter but it would not let me install it. I need a previous version!!! Is there a way around this?

Hello. I have a sound blaster Audigy LS card in my computer, it came as a bundle in my Sony Vaio that I bought in october of last year. I wanted to download the creative media center, or the creative playcenter. I went through the process of downloads and support and tried to run them on my computer it either says Setup is unable to detect supported product on your system. Click retry button to redirect your device and continue the installation. I've tried clicking retry and and the same message comes up. I have Screenblast Sound Forge . for VAIO and Screenblast ACID 4.0 for VAIO and wonder if thos two audio programs (came with the computer also) are in conflict with installing creative products? I am pretty much in the same boat but with an Audigy 2 Value Sound Card.
Removed some old piece of rubbish card (6MB Aztech PCI 288 Q3D using a Trident 4DWave-NX Chip.... yes about 6 yrs old !) in my daughters pc and replaced it with the new one.
Same error message i.e. hardware not detected... ihave already posted as im trying to find and install the right drivers. I have also tried the PCI-slot hopping etc etc.

Depending on how you created your account, "None" may or may not be an option. I believe it has something to do with whether the account was made through an App Store request or the regular iTunes Store. For example, my account allows no card but my father's doesn't allow there to be no card.
To change the card, go to your account settings and change the information to your new card, and hit save.

I've just migrated from MacbookPro to Macbook air and Creative cloud wont install

I deactivated my MBP after the migration.
The MBA asks to download application manager, which it does and when I open to install it. It starts installing then a popup says get Creative Cloud and around the cicle goes

Do you mean you used Apple's migration tool?
If yes, I have read several recent message that it does not work for Cloud programs

I am interested in what is going on, not what it could be. The processor is AMD Athlon XP 2600 2.17GHz. It is working fine with a solid state drive and windows 7 prof. If it rejects this processor then there ought to be some message somewhere. There is nothing.

I have just bought adobe Creative Cloud but now I cant install anything. The creative cloud app on my desktop isnt showing any information. I have been on hold to customer services forever and no answer. Please help

Welcome to Adobe Forum,
You have purchased CC for Team for 3 seats on April 2nd 2014, you need to log in to www.creative.adobe.com , send invite from admin console, in case you want to use it, you have to assign one seat to yourself.
Once the invite has been send, it needs to be accepted from the e-mail(check the junk & spam also)
When you accept the invite then it take to www.creative.adobe.com
Now the CC can be downloaded & installed.

i have updated windows, i have deleted everything i can find that is itunes or apple, i have restarted the laptop i have sat on the phone for over an hour with apple and im to the point i want to smash it up. it will not install not even old versions just says theres an error installing doesnt give specifics someone please help!!!

This should not be this hard. I have an older version of Photoshop with legitimate serial number.

I just want to activate my copy of on my laptop.
I was instructed to delete my version and download the version that needs no activation.
NOW I cannot do that I am without my software program.
My laptop is also an older version of design, but want to learn and use my Photoshop now. How can I proceed.

Now learning photography and loaded my original software onto my laptop (4 years old), and it would not activate.
No phone activation allowed anymore. Even though I have the case with all the legitimate serial numbers.
The system left me up in the air, did what it suggested and did a delete of the older version.
Now cannot get the version that needs no activation to accept my request to download. What to do??

Tabs just keep rolling across my screen endlessly; update never gets installed. Have selected free download many times with same result. Firefox follows up with a message that my version is out of date but I can't get the update to completely install.

The https://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/ is not always accurate or reliable (needs to be manually updated) as Adobe has not been keeping the Adobe products versions to check for updated on that page as the recent Flash updates on December 9 has shown.
It is however accurate when it says versions in Plugins panel of Addons Manager is outdated.
There is Adobe Reader 11.0.10 though it seems like Adobe still provides 10.1.4 at http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/ yet newer versions are at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=10&platform=Windows

James, why does the Firefox addon page link to the 9.5 "blocked for your protection" page instead of the 10.5 blocked page? Is that a mistake/failure to update on Adobe's part? That seems like something that should be controlled on the Mozilla side, since it has the 10.5 blocked page in existence as well. Should someone be notified that it's giving the wrong page to people?

I have an older Thinkpad

I have an older Thinkpad X201 tablet with WWAN capability - it has a Qualcomm Gobi 2000 module installed inside as well as a Sim Card slot (no sim anymore) and was once configured with Verizon wireless circa 2012 or so (I have been told the Qualcomm unit most likely only works with Verizon). It seems like it's all set up and ready for a new sim card and Verizon account. My question is will my setup work with Verizon Pre-paid mobile internet?

Well I found the answer and the answer is YES, IT DOES WORK, BUT YOU BETTER GO DO IT AT YOUR NEAREST VERIZON STORE.
It took them at least 2 hours to figure it out, but they did figure it out after calling in Da Boss of the store. It wasn't that they weren't good salespeople and or don't know modern phone/tablet tech - they knew all that stuff. But my Ultralight Lenovo Thinkpad is *almost* obsolete. But it does have the Qualcomm Gobi 2000 embedded inside (i looked) which I read earlier is coded only for Verizon which is why I went to Verizon for mobile broadband service.
So after 2 hours and a Lenovo Update (which I figured out) - which by the way YOU MUST BE SURE YOUR THINKPAD OR WHATEVER DATED LENOVO YOU ARE USING HAS THE LATEST UPDATES/FIRMWARE/ETC. (that's key) we got it up and running.
Now we'll just see how the service is as I make my way across the country with Thinkpad in tow on my first month of pre-paid Verizon Mobile; I see others here are sometimes not so happy.....
