Creative, RMAs, and all the time in the wo
Near the beginning of the month, I sent my Zen Touch (20gig) back to creative after the hard dri've died. They've had it since the 7th and I've been checking my RMA's status daily waiting for the status to change (it has said Hard Disk Test Failure for quite awhile).
A week (or maybe two) ago I was called by creative and they told me that there would be a charge for my player's repairs and I happily provided them with the information they needed to charge me. The charge still hasn't appeard on my credit card and I haven't been contacted in awhile.
Yesterday (Wednesday) I emailed creative about my RMA status and haven't heard anything back from them (not even a confirmation that they got it).
Any ideas folks?
I just checked again today and the charge now appears on my account (it must have gone through after I checked yesterday).
Hopefully this means I'll get my replacement Touch soon (long walk to campus + no music = crazy).

You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.
it basically says you have to erase your iphone to sync to a new itunes!
Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content. -
Firefox has been crashing all the time after I updated to the newest version. I tried to uninstalled firefox and all addons. Restarted the computer to reinstall Firefox and it's still crashing all the time. Please help.

I copied message to SMS field and sent. After that the message still exist all the time in the SMS field. When I open the application I must always first delete the “saved” ones before I write the new one. What to do to finally/definitely delete the save message?

Every time since I upgraded this morning, attempting to open Aperture causes a crash. I upgraded to Aperture 3.4 this morning, and now it will not open at all! It crashes every time, and tries rebuilding the library and repairing most times. The Library open fine in Iphoto

I am having problems with my macbook pro and the dock. About every fourth time I start the computer, the dock flashes on and off, then goes completely off and all I get is the spinning ball with brief moments of the cursor. But the computer locks up.
Do you have Parallels installed by any chance? There is a known problem that causes symptoms similar to this. You do not need to actually be running Parallels at the time and nothing in ActivityMonitor would point to Parallels. An update corrects the problem:

Yes, Tom Wu of Stanford wrote a paper on something called Secure Remote Access Protocol. It's a form of Asymetric Key Exchange and has nothing to do with hacking anything. It's actually intended to protect data. -

is there any way to lock an IPAD app? by lock, I don't mean password protect. My toddler is constantly scrolling out of her apps and this causes frustration as she spends all her time bringing the IPAD back to me to get back in to the app she was playing. I need a SCROLL lock!!

If you turn OFF multi-taskng, your toddler won't be able to "swipe" between Apps.
I don't know of any way to disable the "Home" button though. -

My dad gave me an iPhone 3G to use as an ipod touch but it's not picking up wifi. ive tried everything to like reseting the network settings turning wi fi off and on mutable times, turned the phone off on and on. What do i do?
the iphone never really picked up wi fi when it was used as a phone and it didnt really matter because he had unlimited internet but it still wont go on wi fi. does any one know why it is doing this?
The iphone works fine other wise i just really want it to go on wi fi. We just got new wi fi too and all of our other apple products go on the wi fi just fine. I dont know if its because its newer or what but my brothers 1st gen ipod goes on wi fi just fine.

I know the function "write to spreadsheet file.vi"
can append the data
to file. You can use the "concatenate strings" to display the date,
time as well as data... Hope this help.
