I need to install drivers to my soundcard (SoundBlaster Audigy SBO60) I cant find my model in the "AutoUpdate" - section. And I dont know where else I can get the drivers if not here, so I need a link to the drivers I need... So could someone please help me?

I just checked mine (still using it in my second computer) and it is actually a SB062, which is a later version of the same card. Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 Zs help

Before I start rambling on about my problem here are my specs (BTW I'm not incredibly computer literate; my dad helped me install everything before I left for school):Cpu: Intel Duo Processor 2.66 GhzRAM: .5 GB DDR2Video Card: ATI Radeon 9600 (soon to be one of their newer models)OS: Windows XPSound Card: Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS?Ok so I was reinstalling everything after I had to format my computer. I get through installing my creative sound card and figure everything went great. I was playing my music when I had realized that I forgot to configure my sound card for them, as I was getting mono instead of stereo (was only playing out of left speakers). So I go into speaker setup and click on "calibrate speakers" or something like that. Anyway, the speaker calibrator says that It could not be ran for some reason (i forget). I figure that it wasn't working because I hadn't updated anything yet. I update, and I still get the same message. So I reinstalled the software and updated it again and now when I try to run ANY of my creative software related to the sound card (I.E. EAX console, Speaker Setup) it says that "The Audio device supported by this software is not detected. The Application will now shut down."? Now remember that I'm not great with computers, so my solution now will probably sound stupid. But anyways I figured that I had installed the wrong sound card software (it gives me three choices on the disc). I uninstall everything and choose another setting. I still got the same problem. So I try the third choice and I get the same problem. Any suggestions? I've tried all three choices and I still get the same problem.

You may first need to patch the driver package by using ctcomp.exe to get std. drivers (eg. not Dell specific) installed to your Dell PC. Search this forum after ctcomp.exe --> there you'll find some instructions too.
You can also find a link to the latest drivers available (I personally use Audigy 4 drivers from november 2005 --> can be found from creative support pages) by searching this forum (I think the latest WHQL version is .~62 for the original version).

Creative SoundBlaster Audigy Advanced MB software activation probl

Hello!?I bought?a software named Creative SoundBlaster Audigy Advanced MB, when I ordered my notebook Inspiron 720 from DELL, on the 8th? of September, 2007. They provided a CD for the software, which I installed, and it worked. But then later that day (when I recieved the laptop), I formatted the hard-disk for the following reasons - ) It only had 2 partitions for the entire dri've, one of which was a recovery partition, and I wanted to create more.2) I wanted to remove MediaDirect.3) I wanted to remove bloatware that DELL gave me with it, ie, DELL Quickset, DELL Support, DELL this, DELL that, Norton AntiVirus etc.4) I wanted Vista installed by my way. After I had done everything I wanted, I started to re-install the Creative software, the same way like I did before. But this time, when it took me to the transaction page and asked me for the reason of re-installing this software, it said "The CD Key has expired."?I have tried 2 different browsers,?I have cleared my cache, I have penta-checked my CD-Key before each install and have done anything a Computer Software engineer (me) would do, with the help of the Internet as well. But my every effort went in vain. Then, I did something I didn't want to do, I contact DELL technical support. Their solutions ranged from installing the latest drivers (yes, drivers for a software), to removing and re-installing the latest Internet Explorer (yes, they asked me to REMOVE IE) to put the HARDWARE in some other machine. Quite clearly, the 4 support executi'ves I talked to there at DELL had no clue as to what is going on and what is the problem. Then, after a 2 hours chat with another one of them, I was told that they just provide the software, and it is Creative's duty to handle everything later and asked me to talk to you. The email support page do not have the option of support for this software, so I selected some other product but sent my problem.
It would be very nice to know if there exists a solution to this problem, and how should I approach it. It has only been 20 days since I bought this software. Thank you!

Finally, I got a reply from the email team, and they sought some further information, which I duly provided. Then, they provided me with a new CD Key. But here is the thing, they say after 3 times of re-installing the software, I will have to pay for it. What?Why would I pay for something which I bought, again and again? The whole world knows about Windows Vista, how incompatible it is with more than 80% of the software, and it will be the same till SP is released. I have since this Sunday gone have re-installed vista 4 times, once due to the fact that AHCI in the BIOS was not enabled by default, and I had to re-do the installation, then it was SATA drivers not presentonthe Vists disk, then the nVidia drivers had problem with Vista and it crippled it and won't go and then the Windows Media Player , quite clearly still not fully functionable, made my system bust. And I can say that it will happen again, so why do I have to pay some part of the software's price again? I am not using it on any other machine, and that is checked by it's CRC checker anyways, I am not using it for any business project, which shouldn't be a problem even if I did, as I own it. If any of you guys have an answer to this, please let me know.

Creative Soundblaster Audigy SB0570

Hi friends, start by apologizing for possible misspellings. Creative Soundblaster Audigy I have problems with SB0570. Since I bought this motherboard sound I had only 4 speakers sound without subwoofer and center. When I give test everything works properly. Maybe not something I set myself right in "Creative Audio Control Panel" or Winamp, I run Windows 7 and the latest drivers audio system Genius SW-5.1 3000 5.1 What should I do to work all satellites including subwoofer. Creative Zen Plus & Creative Soundblaster Audigy 4. Can the two be linked in any w

Hello and good morning. I've an extensi've collection of music consisting of 35,000 tracks which I play through my Creative Soundblaster Audigy 4 via my hi fi system. In order to access these tracks when using the Creative Zen Plus, I notice it calls up only the file name which is a time consuming effort to get tracks transferred. To your knowledge,is there a way to use the Creative Soundblaster to 'drag and drop' individual tracks straight into the Creative Zen using the 'burn now' facility?
Any help and assistance would be highly appreciated. Thank you very much indeed for your help.

Didn't your soundcard come with MediaSource? If so, you can transfer the tracks that have already been converted to MP3 or WMV format directly to your player. MediaSource also displays the content by ID3 Tag titles once they've been entered into the Music Library.

I disabled motherboard audio in Bios before installation and before putting soundcard in
It says that i can not find any soundcard
but when i search for audio? drivers in thedevice manager(correct word for it's)
it copies some files and audio works
the sound card is listed in dxdiag but in games i have bad performance

Windows XP Professional(directly after installing windows i installed SP2 then SP3)

i installed SP2 then SP3
then i installed Motherboard drivers
then i installed graphic drivers
then i installed antivirus drivers
then i installed wireless lan drivers
then i tried to install audigy 2 ZS drivers.i tried from CD and newest.Both didnt work
i disabled antivirus before installation attempt
i would be happy about help
Only one cable is used from CD-rom to soundcard:? CD-in
no other cable..buti was able to install long ago

how come this sound card is never mentioned anywhere on the soundblaster website?
i cant find a driver which i manually download for it. the only driver i can find on the official webpage for it is the automatic update which works for all creative sound cards

Did you honestly search the Support section? There are more than 4 Audigy LS models, under the Sound Blaster> Audigy section.
If you are looking for the product page, I think the Audigy LS was renamed to Li've! 24-bit for most regions. At least the chip is the same, perhaps its a newer card model.

I got an old Dell Dimension XPS (2003; 3GHz) (no driver CD)
I hear no sound after connecting to a pair of cheap Antec Lansing speaker with cable
My XP sees the driver as Creative Audigy Audio Processor (WDM)
My Driver software see it with Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Audio Driver
I opened the box, and see it as a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Model SB 0240
Where do I get the SB driver in order to install correctly?
I tried to download the driver Audigy 2 Value at the website:

?Your card is not "udigy 2 Value"? but "Audigy 2 Platinum" series card. So if you try install drivers go from CT support then select Audigy 2 Platinum there. IIRC, there are/were some problems to install original drivers for OEM cards ... resolution was/is to go to the vendors (dell in this case) support pages and install?drivers from there if you find ones. You may also try to install?HP OEM driver or patched Audigy installation. You can find both by searching here. jutapa?

Hi im new to this community, i feel sorry if im doint something wrong now, but im despered at the momeny because im messed with this soundcard and my 5. music system for 3 days now.. the problem is that subwoofer works, center works, front works very poor...scratchy noise etc...rear are dead...what can i do??i would be very happy if anyone knows the solution

SB Audigy 4 Driver Probl

At least, I *think* it's a driver problem. Let me start from the beginning.
Just about every other time I start up my PC, my SB Audigy 4 (Retail) runs into a problem. That is, the nice Exclamation Point shows up, and it doesn't see it as a SB Audigy 4, but rather a "Multimedia Audio Controller" (MAC for short). So I uninstall the MAC, reboot (note, at reboot, it shows it as a Creative Soundblaster Audigy Audio Processor, still with the yellow exclamation point next to it, and still with (CODE 0) attached, and install the SBAX_WEBUP_LB_2_08_0004.exe drivers. (Why, oh why does it only come in EXE format? What happened to the Good old days of .inf files?)

I install, and everything goes well. I reboot, and my Sound drivers are there, so I can play my favorite games. But, the next time I reboot my PC, I'll have lost my Sound Drivers again --- though it doesn't happen every time, but I can't go more than 2 reboots without it happening again.
I'm really getting tired of reinstalling these drivers on every boot up. Does anyone have the skinny?

Thanks for that tip, that may make it so I don't have to do stupid things to get it to see the driver.
Next step though is to find a way to keep the Driver from mysteriously uninstalling or borking itself so I don't have to keep reinstalling it. Any ideas?

KT4 MS-6590 1.4 BIOS and creative soundblaster

I updated the BIOS of the MSI 6590 motherboard from 1.3 version to 1.4 version. This adds the "CPU Halt Command Detection" item in BIOS Setup. I activate it and the CPU temp goes down when it is idle. Perfect..
BUT now the creative soundblaster audigy 2 ex is making noises and crackles when using audio in ASIO mode. If I deactivate the CPU halt detection in the BIOS everything goes ok as before. with some more CPU degrees but sounds good. so it's a very easy and detected problem.
to MSI support team look if it's possible to fix this CPU halt detection... (or maybe new drivers from creative can fix it also... )

54*C idle was? Is a lot if you say is also noisy. I have a Speeze RaptorCool @2163RPM super quiet and a 12cm intank fan @ 1600RPM also quiet and I get no more than 52*C full load. And here is summer, with 30-35*C room ambient.
Those I've mentioned are rather expensive, 40-50$, you can find something cheaper (mine is 7.5$!!!). Water cooling is too expensive, more than 100$, a good one is 250-300$. So you should stick with air cooling.
*EDIT* I forgot, some of them don't come with a fan, that you can aquire separatly, Y-Tech are good, stay out of Delta 'cause are the loudest

Yes I have had a driver problem so i went to the download section of this site and picked up a driver program for my soundcard yet it doesn't work. When i do uninstall my soundcard (i need to uninstall current driver to install new driver)and i restart my comp after removing the old one i get sound, but i notice i don't get very good sound, not as good as my old before it stoped working. But then after i install new one it just doesn't work!
Please help me if you know about drivers!!!!

As I said before, the goal is to try to get sound to play out of both the headset and the speakers attached to the rear of the soundcard simuntaneously.
The headset is plugged into one of those devices in the front that is in a 5 & /4" bay that has the individual knobs for adjusting volume for the headset and outbound levels for the microphone.
The speakers are plugged into the back of the soundcard and do not play any sound in any of the sockets, starting from the firewire port and counting 3 over.
Any suggestions? I? thought it might have something to do with the setting of the speakers from control panel - > Sounds and Audio Devices -> Advanced and picking the right choice there. No luck however. Same for the Creative Speaker Settings as well.
I'm at wits end and I'd be very thankful to whoever can resolve this for me. =)

SoundBlaster Audigy ZS Pro ASIO DRIVER Questions w/ Cubase


I am using Cubase SX 2.2 and the SoundBlaster Audigy ZS Pro. I need to gain a better understanding of the differences between the three Creative ASIO drivers that Cubase SX 2.2 recognizes. They are as follows:

Creative ASIO - [Cubase sets default sample rate at 48KHz ]</LI>
SB Audigy 2 ZS ASIO 24/96 (B800) [ Cubase sets default sample rate at 96KHz]</LI>
SB Audigy 2 ZS ASIO [Cubase sets default sample rate at 48KHz ]</LI>
I can understand that the 24/96 ASIO driver supports 24 [email]bit@96KHz]bit@96KHz[/url] recording. I am not sure what the differences are between Creative ASIO & SB Audigy 2 ZS ASIO. I have read other related post on this subject and it was stated that the Creative ASIO is the older 6 bit ASIO driver, but I noticed something interesting in relation to the input devices that Cubase SX 2.2 sees between the three are quite different, but it's opposite of what you might imagine.
Here are the details:
For Both Creative ASIO & SB Audigy 2 ZS ASIO, Cubase SX2.2 lists the following inputs:
Line in / MIC L & R, Line in 2 L & R, Line in 3 L & R, SPDIF IN L & R
and then the strange...MIX L & R, MIX FL & FR, MIX RL & RR, MIX FC, MIX LFE (?), MIX RC ( twice), MIX SL & SR
No OPTICAL?
For the SB Audigy 2 ZS ASIO 24/96, Cubase SX2.2 lists the following inputs:
Line in / MIC L & R, Line in 2 L & R, Line in 3 L & R
No SPDIF or OPTICAL?
I assume the MIX inputs are for the Dolby Digital Bus Mixers in Cubase to be able to send outputs directly to the Surround Channels?
I set the Latency all the way down to 2ms for each driver. Currently I am achieving a Input of 3.042ms & Output of 2.00ms w/ the 24/96KHz & w/ the other two I am achieving a Input of 4.083ms & Output of 2.00ms. Not sure why the difference?
I'd really like to gain an understanding or be directed to some documentation (Audigy Manuals lack in this detail) to help explain these differences and understand why the 24/96 driver wouldn't list the same inputs if it's the same card. Is this just a bug? Any updates to fix?
 Sorry for the long post, but I felt if I should this detail I may get some good insight to from yall experts out there.

As it's an OEM product you have there, you probably need to modify the installer meant for original CT products. I have posted some instructions long ago so if you search here by using "ctcomp.exe" as a searching criteria you might find that thread. You also need drivers from older installer since CT made some changes to the installer so that the old ctcomp won't work with the latest driver installation. IIRC, there were a fix-up for this too available but I'm not sure where it was introduced ... was it @ DHF (link given below)?
You can download the CD as an ISO image from BadBoys site (http://badboy.filefront.com/).
IIRC, there were some other instructions for this @ Driver Heaven Forums and also you might already heard of YouPAX driver mod ... which can be found @ Driver Heaven too.

Creative SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 Digital driver update - wont wo

Hello I've had this problem for as long as I can remember. I have already searched the forum in hope that I would find a solution. I didn't.
Ok, this is how it is. About two years ago I bought computer parts which I assembled together and "Creative SoundBlaster Li've! 5. Digital RETAIL PCI" was one of them.
I have tried every single driver you have under your support page and none of them will work! I always get the message:
"Setup could not detect any Sound Blaster Audio card on your system.
Please ensure that your Sound Blaster hardware is properly installed before running this Setup program.
Setup will now exit."
Right. All drivers gives me this. I know that you guys will probably ask after the serial number now but I'm too lazy to check at the very moment and I know that the serial check will be a SB Li've! 5. digital card anyway so I don't see how that would solve this issue you are having with your, sorry to say this, outdated installs.
The card is installed correctly in the device manager as "Creative SB Li've! series". And how come I can install it from the CD but not from your internet drivers?
I'm using Windows 2000 Professional with service pack 4 by the way.
Is there a chance these installs wont work with latest service packs, that they were designed for earlier service packs and Microsoft maybe changed the way to detect hardware in later service packs?
I'd appreciate any help I can get because I really need to update my drivers, I got a small sound problem now it seems (soundeffects volume goes down and there is a bit of distortion when it's too many of the same sound playing - or when a soundeffect is to loud).

Hmm, the install extracts files but not in the current directory or in windows temp. How would I extract the content from the install file so I can patch it's

EDIT2: Ok I got several driver files so I just extracted "Li'veDrvUni-Pack(ENG).exe" to C:\sb\ and ran the tool as you described. I could launch the install without problems. By the way, Li'veDrvUni-Pack(ENG).exe is containing the latest drivers as well right? So I dont need to do this with "Li'veDrvPack_Patch.exe" as well?
