Creative suite 4 "unattended" install

Im trying to deploy cs4 silently, but with a progress bar so users can see when it is finished installing (unattended). I know you could do that in cs3, but apparently from what ive found they dont do that anymore in cs4.
Unless they have another mode to specify in the command line
(--mode=silent). are there any other modes to display progress, but supress EULA, and preserialise, without making it 100% silent?

To install Acrobat X Pro from CS6 suite, please follow these steps,
1. If you have installation Disk, browse the files from the disk an navigate to "payloads\AcrobatProfessional10.0-EFG"
( if you have downloaded CS6 suite, please navigate to "payloads\AcrobatProfessional10.0-EFG" from the extracted files. )
2. Run AcroPro installer and install Acrobat as a trial.
3. Once you install Acrobat, before launching it, follow the steps from the below document link.

I can't get my creative suite 4 to install on new hard drive

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 4 several years ago and installed it on my laptop. I am still using the same laptop however I recently had them install a new harddrive. I didn't think about losing my programs they said they'd just put my stuff on an external harddrive and I could just move it over to this one. When I tried to move photoshop over it gives me error 6. I talked to someone from adobe and they said they could help me if I had the serial numbers. I have moved several times since then so I didn't currently have the discs but I was able to find the discs, along with the serial number. I tried to install the discs last night and my computer won't recognize them, it says they are blank discs. These are the same ones I originally installed the programs with, they haven't been touched since. My cd drive works fine with any other cd I put in it. Ugh what can I do? I spent a lot of money on this program I can't afford to buy it again.

CS4 Creative Suite update re install

I have Creative Suite cs4. It is an upgrade as I had CS3 as well. I installed CS4 onto my PC and all went well. My PC then packed up and I had to buy a new one. I went to install CS4 onto my new PC but had lost the serial number for CS3 which is needed to install an upgrade. I contacted Adobe support by phone and explained my plight. They talked me through what to do and everything worked well. Now a few years on After effects has lost Fractal noise and other plugins that shipped with it. The only plugins left are CC ones. I ask a question on After Effects forum and the upshot was to re install CS4. If I do this I do not have the serial number from CS3 and Adobe no longer seem to give phone support anymore. Any help with this is much appreciated.

You can still produce the required activation codes, even if support is mostly by web chat these days... Simply try.

I just tried to install Adobe Creative Suite to my new computer and it says the installation file is corrupt.

Dowload again using this method and a reliable browser like Firefox:

Creative suite 2 re-install

Hi,
I've went to the Adobe forums and searched for about 45 mins and came up with nothing.
My dilemma is this. I need to reinstall my Creative Suite 2, but when I try, it states that I have CS2 applications installed...and I cannot go on. How do I reinstall CS2?? Do I need to delete preferences or something? How do i go about this?

Adobe Creative Suite 3 re-install - keeps asking for disk, have all disks

I am the original owner, had problems with dream weaver so I uninstalled it. tries to reinstall it using my creative suite 3 design premium disks and it keeps asking me for creative suite 3 design premium disk. Downloaded creative suite 3 design premium from Adobe, same thing happens. I only installed this on two computers, this is one of them. I would appreciate any suggestions, thanks

Creative Suite CS6 (Mac): Install only Ai Ps Id without Br or any other app

Hello.
For the upcoming OS X Yosemite I want to install as less as possible stuff on my Mac. I like to keep my system clean.
What I ask myself is, is there a way to only install Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign without any other applications? I don't use Bridge or the other ones so it would be great if there is a way to do that. When I hit the installation I can't uncheck Bridge for example. I bought the CS6 bundle download on amazon.

I thought maybe there is a chance to go deeper in the dmg (installation file on Macs) structure and select the installer for Ai, PS and Id separately, or something like this.
Is Bridge always a part of Photoshop? Is it possible to download for example Photoshop from Adobe and just use my serial number from the Creative Suite?
When OS X Yosemite is out and I am about to change to it, I will play a little bit with the installer file before I do a clean install and do some testing, maybe I will find a way.
By the way, I really like the Creative Suite. Love to work with these products. They are effective, fast and beautiful.

Creative Suite won't install Illustrator

I had a registered copy of Illustrator CS4 on my Mac and deactivated and then uninstalled it because I wanted to install Creative Suite CS4. When I uninstalled Illustrator I specified that preference files and the serial number should go away. I assume that Creative Suite would install a new version of Illustrator and that the serial number of Illustrator would be that of Creative Suite.
I also had InDesign CS3 on my Mac and also deactivated and uninstalled it.
So when I tried installing Creative Suite CS4 Design Premium, the installer dialog showed all apps it would install but Illustrator was grayed out. I went ahead and installed the Suite. Installation required that I register it with the Suite's serial number. When installed, I dug out my old Illustrator CS4 disk and installed that. To my surprise, it did not ask for a serial number. When Illustrator came up the initial dialog box listed all of my recent files--telling me that my previous uninstall was not complete.
My preference is to uninstall and not use the standalone version of Illustrator CS4. I want all software to come from the Suite and share its registration serial number.
My questions are, how can I totally delete it off my system and force the Suite installer to install its copy of Illustrator? And do I even need to worry about this as maybe the Suite has overtaken the standalone Illustrator and given it the Suite's serial number. (I can try to uninstall Illustrator again but despite being loaded as a standalone copy, I get a dialog about uninstalling the whole Suite.)
Any suggestions?

Thanks, guys. Yes, the problem was an incomplete uninstallation. Although I used the application's deactivate and uninstall, the Utilities > Adobe > Installers folder still had uninstallers available that cleaned up everything, including sending the app folder to the trash. I had manually trashed the app folders previously.
When I ran the Cleanup app, it didn't find anything for CS4. After restarting, I began installing Creative Suite and there was Illustrator CS4, available for installation. FInally!!!

Downloading Creative Suite after 90% installed, said Error w/ no solution?

Downloading Creative Suite 5.5 and after 90% installed, told me to quit Firefox, I did, then it said Error (1) with no instructions as to what the error is and how to solve it.
Do I need to be connected to the internet by any chance? I'm wireless and never have my computer hooked up downstairs but can move it if that could be the problem.

Creative Suite 2 Standard Install/Update Errors

Have a WinXP based Dell PC that gets the following error when doing updates from Adobe:
"Missing or Invaild Personalizatrion Information.
Missing Resource Library."
Uninstalled the suite and get the same error message when we try to reinsall.
Any clue as to why this happens?

Can you try copying the content of the DVD/ CD to the desktop and try to install it.
