Creative Suite 5.5 design premium - moving to new computer from a dead one
Hello,
My laptop recently died, I lost everything, and I have since had to replace it. I was wondering how to deactivate my Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 design premium for the dead laptop so I can activate the new one? I already have CS5 on my desktop, so this is effectively like trying to move to a third computer, except the second computer cannot be accessed to deactivate (because it is dead).

I bought a new Macbook Pro 13 inch in December 2011 and I bought the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium shortly after and installed it on the computer. The other day my friend spilled his drink on my computer and it is now going to cost me $800 to get it fixed so I am considering getting a new one instead of getting mine fixed I'm not sure if the memory is still ok or not either. It didn't get that wet and Apple told me it is more than likely ok but there is no guarantee that they are going to keep the memory when they fix it. So I was wondering if I get a new one if I can install the Suite on the new one I still have the product key and serial number for the Suite. Or if I decide to get mine fixed and the memory is swept, then can I reinstall it on mine after it is fixed? If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank You

When I was a student, I purchased the Student Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium and installed it on my MacBook Pro laptop. My laptop is breaking down and I want to use my Student Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium on my new Mac computer, how do I do this? If I graduated & am an alumna, can I still use my Student Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium on my new computer? Thank you in advance.

Problems installing Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium
I'm trying to install Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium on a new computer (Windows 7) from DVD's and receive an Installation Status message at the end of installation that says there were 2 fatal errors, 43 errors, and 43 warnings. It installs some of the programs, but doesn't install Illustrator, InDesign, or Flash Catalyst. I've tried installing four times and received the same message each time. I've verified with Adobe Customer Support that I'm using the correct serial number code. Any thoughts/suggestions?

I have an imac and a macbook pro. my creative suite 5.5 design premium is on them both. I'm about to take them in to the apple store because they are running bad and have them completely restored to factory settings. when I get them back will i be able to re-install my adobe creative suite to both of my computers using my same product code from when i first bought it?
Yes. Just make sure to deactivate the license on both systems using Apple menu --> Deactivate while one of the suite programs is running.

I am trying to finish the installation of Reader from Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium and it will not let me proceed because it says "Please close the following applications to continue. Google Chrome.exe" , I don't have any Chrome applications open and I have even gone to Add/Remove Programs and removed Chrome from my PC. Still get error. Any advice?

Adobe creative suite 5.5 design premium upgrade
I am installing adobe creative suite 5.5 design premium upgrade on a new laptop. I installed the upgrade and entered the serial number and received the green check. It never ask for a prevoius serial number from the previous product. Each time I open a program in the suite, it will ask for the serial #. I will reenter the serial number and get the green check mark. I must reenter each time I open the program or any of the programs in that suite.

Step 3: Insert CS5 disc and copy its contents to the desktop.
Step 4: Go To “Desktop\<<CS5 Folder Name>>\payloads\” and then Go To each folder that starts from “Microsoft_VC80” and install them one by one.

I recently tried to install creative suite 5.5 design premium on to my home computer with windows vista home premium and it was all going fine then right at the end of the installation this message popped up please help??

While upgrading Adobe Creative Suite CS4 ME into Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 Design Premium, I get an error saying This serial number is not of a qualifying product, please try another. I used to be able to get a code from customer service but I can't get to the chat. Please advise!!!!

I also show that you made two purchases of CS5.5 Design Premium but the second purchase was canceled. Please make sure you are utilizing the serial number which ends in 7886.

Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium installation
Hi, I have just start my new iMac computer. Downloaded CS5.5 Design Premium fine.
When it was close to finishing the installation there was an issue with closing Safari which I did and also something else which looked Safari related but nothing else was open.
So I had to cancel the installation. This has left me without Acrobat X Pro.
Trying to install Acrobat provides the following error.

I opened my Utilities > Activity Monitor
Found the SafariNotificationAgent and tried to quit this first, didn't shut it down... so I then force quit it.
I then tried to install but this still came up with the error.
But I then tried uninstalling Flash and then reinstalling Flash and Acrobat and this worked a treat... it then installed fine.
Please note: when I uninstalled Flash I went into:
Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers > Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium
It was here I uninstalled just Flash so it took all the parts out. -

Also if I have Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium and Acrobat X Pro on the old machine is there a way to take the license information off the old machine and download the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design and install it with the serial from the old machine I would be throwing away? -
