Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard Student and teacher edition-Reinstall

I need to know where to go on the Adobe site to re install the above titled software.
When I download and try to install the software it will not allow me to fill in the serial number. It shows the space but it will not allow me to enter my serial number.
I think the problem may be that I am not going into the student/ teacher portal for this product.
I need your help please.

I have the serial. I get to point of installing, but the serial is not allowed to be entered. Maybe the teacher edition is between product than from the general public. Thanks! Gordon

I had purchase Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 design standards (Student and teacher licensing), but I lost the disk and still have my product code. I tried downloading from the available downloads but the product code i have doesn't work. Where can i find a CS5.5 design standard student and teacher licensing download?

There is no specific version designated for student/teacher versions, the software you get is the same as any other 'version'... the serial number is what designates the version status. You might have used the wrong product code or maybe you need to adjust your approach to the attempt to acquiring the download.
Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your cache. If it continues to fail try using a different browser.
You can also download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

I downloaded my Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 design standard, student and teacher licensing and it load ed. I am waiting for an email to finish up but I have not received it yet, I had the serial number entered in and everything should have been good to go.

I downloaded my Creative Suite 5.5 student teacher licensing software. I all loaded fine in my Mac but at the end of the download it gave me a message that I would need to check my e-mail for further steps in order to be able to use the software. I have not received this e-mail yet. I had my email listed as <Removed by Moderator>
Is there something that I need to show as proof of being a student yet? I had to give my student id number in order to get the serial number. I did not use my student e-mail address though. If that is the issue I can supply that also. <Removed by Moderator>

only cs6, cc and cc 2014 are available via adobe.

you can download and save the installation files (and your serial number) so you can reinstall. (though adobe currently allows even users of very old software to continue to download installation files.)

I bought the programs when I was still a student but I am no longer a student. If I have to buy an update version, wich one I should buy?

Question about CS6 Design Standard Student and Teacher Edition

I'm planning to buy this package but there is a couple questions I need to know before I do that. It's little hard to find all necessary information from Adobe's web page and I find it kind of difficult that you can have help only in english. I live in Finland.
1. When I'm proving my student eligibility for Adobe, does the document/documents have to be written in english or is it ok in finnish?
2. How do I get my final serial numbers if Adobe can't send them via email?

If you are from Finland, you will probably have to submit all the stuff to your local reseller. This has nothing to do with the online verification for US and other customers. Check your regional S&T pages. Presumably you have to go through Sweden, because as far as I know that's where Adobe has it's support for Northern Europe. They will also give you the serial number.

CS6 Design Standard Student and Teacher Edition Problem

I have recieved verifictaion and a remdemtion code but when I go to use it I continue to get the error:
Oops! This code doesn't seem to be active. Please contact the retailer you purchased the card from, or use a different code. For more information contact Customer Support and order by phone
I was given the code in an email from adobe after entering the serial number on the back of the card I recieved after purchsing the software.

Hi guys, i have decided to use illustrator/photoshop, but would like to know if Adobe CS6 Design Standard Student and Teacher Edition has everything i need to design t-shirts? Or would i need to buy these seperately? Thanks.

You can check the version of Photoshop by launching it, and selecting 'About Photoshop' from the 'Help' Menu at the top.

Adobe Creative suite 5.5 design standard-student teacher license error

Trying to add my adopt creative suite 5.5 design standard-student teacher to my new computer since my old one crashed, but the new computer has no CD Drive. We transferred the files to an SD card, moved to desktop but it won't load. I also tried to download the online version but when it gets to the part where I add the license it errors stating serial number not valid for this version. Read everything I can find any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Dear Jeff, it seems I have a similar problem. I have a CS 5.5. Design Standard on CD, student edition. Now my new laptop does not have a CD drive.
I have been trying to find a download at the Adobe site, but under the heading of CS 5.5. it gives access to a newer version. So I guess my license wouldn't work (I did not bother to try this).
So any help is welcome:

There are no upgrades for Student and Teacher Editions. You can continue to use the version you are using, or you can buy CS6 with no special upgrade price, or subscribe to Creative Cloud. However, I believe if you still qualify, you're offered a discount on Creative Cloud.

Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium Student and Teacher Edition

I bought CS5.5 back in 2013. I have installed it on my macbook pro and currently I am planning to purchase a new Macbook. I am wondering if I can install it again on the new laptop. Or whether or not I can somehow move CS5.5 from the old to the new laptop. Also, I am wondering if I need to go through the whole verification process since it is a student and teacher edition.

Hi Kenny,
You can use the same serial number on the new machine without any issues. Just make sure that you are deactivating the product on your old machine before installing this on the new Mac. To deactivate, you can simply go to Help > Deactivate in any one of the product's. Also, you can use the following link to download the product on your new machine.

PS: Please do not use Time machine to move Adobe programs from your Older machine to New one.

I have the serial number but my disks were lost due to a car fire.
I tried the serial number with Adobe 6 but it doesn't work.
