Creative suite 5.5 Trial Licence Issues

Hi,
I have downloaded and installed the trial version of Creative Suite 5.5 but any time I try to run one of the programs a licence agreement window appears. If I click 'Accept' it will dissappear for a few seconds and then reappear.
How do I get past this and actually use the product?

By running with sufficient user privileges and permissions. It simply cannot initialize the licensing service and/or create the key file. Make sure to run with admin priviliges the first time you launch any of the apps.

Creative Suite CS3 and InDesign CS4 Issues

Hi,
I'm hoping this is the right place to post. I installed parts of Creative Suite CS3 on my system (just the basics, PS, ID, Illustrator, etc.).
Later on I just got Photoshop CS4 and Installed that.
Now, months later, I want to instally the rest of CS 3 on my system, yet half way through Disk 1, it ejects the disk and asks me to install the InDesign CS4 disk. I don't have InDesign CS4! I did install the trial version but then uninstalled it.
Any ideas?

Uninstall anything CS4 (use Adobe's uninstaller; do not just drag to trash). Install your CS3 components; then install Photoshop CS4 again. It would seem there is either some dependence upon certain components shared by both versions; or maybe it's the way some data is transfered behind the scenes from one version to the other.
Remember to repair permissions and run DiskWarrior to fix any permissions, disk or directory issues that sometimes crop up.
On a slightly different note, on my well-maintained system, I had the Master Collection CS3 on my Mac; then installed the Master Collection CS4. When I recently decided to uninstall most of CS3 (per instructions), I found that for a few CS4 apps, I had to enter my password the first time I launched them. But Photoshop would tell me some scripts were missing, and the solution was to uninstall Photoshop CS4 and reinstall it.

How do I download one program out of the creative suite once a trial has expired???

My trial of adobe illustrator was still active when I downloaded my creative suite for mac. However once my trial has expired, the serial number for my pack doesn't work when I type this in to license the software?

CC doesn't use serial numbers. It's solely based on your Adobe ID. If you have a redemption code from a prepaid voucher, refer to this:

Creative Suite 5 Premier Pro Encode Issues

Hello Fellow Experts,
I am having a problem with my Adobe Creative Suite 5 Premier Pro software. I spent a long time working on a movie and when It tries to Encode in Adobe Media Encoder, it wants to take 10 hours for 2 minutes. The file that I'm trying to encode is not complicated at all. It only consists of 20 pictures (dimensions less then 2500x2000) and one sound track.
There are transitions and a few effects in the sequence, but not enough to make it take 10-12 hours for just 2 minutes!
I've already given my 32 bit laptop more virtual memory, and that fixed a low memory error, but it is still wanting to take too long.
The original file is over 40 minutes long so it would really help if someone had an idea for me. Does anyone know what the problem might be?
I've encoded 3 minute clips before and it only took 4 hours...
I don't have access to a better computer either.

Nobody can know. Your info is at best rather broad and generic, at worst vague. In any case, your computer seems seriously underpowered and from the program possibly being too busy with decoding the full 40 minutes first to issues with disk based caches on slow drives to specific CoDec and hardware acceleration issues I could imagine a million things going on. Just because you only use a handful of effects doesn't mean that those otehr things couldn't drag your system down. Extensive file I/O can be a real killer on any project. Well, whatever. What you see is probably perfectly normal within what you can expect on your system. Some housekeeping like defragemnting disks and removing old temp files might improve matters slightly, but I realyl think short of buying a better computer there is not much you can do...

Creative suite 6 standard education - licence

Sorry if this post isn't on correct place and sorry for my poor english. I can buy a creative suite 6 standard education - new - not open - from a student. The student has bougth 2 packages from this software and will sell one. i'm student and have a student card - can i buy now this software from him an receip a licence number? greetings and thank Schmid

Student and educational versions of Adobe products are absolutely not transferable, regardless of whether they have ever been used or not. If the student in question purchased too many copies of the software, they should try to return the software to the authorized Adobe reseller for a refund. They cannot legally sell it to you and it is unlikely that you can get a license for it!

I downloaded all the applications from adobe creative suite as a trial, when the trial came to the

end I purchased the full version and now all the products won't work they tell me I need a serial number to register them, so I decided to delete all the applications and see if i could download them again from my account now the new application manger says I already have these products and I can't download them again. what do i do?

Creative Suite 4 Master Collection Install issue

Hi,
Hopefully someone can shed some light on my problem...
I have a brand new copy of CS4 Master Collection which I shelled out a lot of money but I am having problems getting past the first minute or so on the first install DVD!!
I keep getting an error that says 'SYSTEM ALERT' The Minimum System requirements are not met'
I am running Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 on a laptop with 2GB Ram and 1.73Ghz.
1) Adobe state that 2Ghz is the minimum. Is this pretty strict or do you think I should be okay with the 1.73Ghz I currently have? Could this be one issue as to why the requirements are not met?
2) I have removed all adobe products such as Acrobat, Flash Player, Flash Plug Ins, Adobe InDesign CS2 etc. Do I need to remove Photoshop 7.0, Dreamweaver MX and Flash MX too or are these not affected due to being original Marcomedia Products?
I am not too sure why Adobe CS4 seems to think my requirements are not met??
Can anyone shed any light on this? Am I missing something obvious?

Bob - i had to edit my last post on here as I did think I had SP1 installed but I am starting to think that I actually don't!!
I checked my Windows Updates and it seems that SP1 updates since July 2008 have failed to install properly.
When I check my system info it doesn't list SP1 anywhere on my PC.
Anyway, I downloaded the Readiness Update file and ran that. All went fine. I then downloaded the 455Mb SP1 file and can't seem to get past the first 10mins of that. I just get an error 0x800B0100
So, as it stands I cannot install SP1 and CS4 stays lonely and unused in it's packaging :-(
Any other ideas? Or is this something I really need to take up with the people at Microsoft/Vista?

I have just installed Creative Suite CC free trial. When opening Photoshop I get an error. "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 has stopped working". My graphics drivers are the latest so that's not the problem. Please can someone help?

Creative Suite 6 Design Standard install issues on 10.6

Launching from CD Install app and nothing happens. No problem installing CS4, CS5 on new clean install 2TB HD. I have run / repaired Disk Permission repaired complete 2X. Thought anyone ? At wits end !

Re-installation for Creative Suit 6

I accidentally deleted some of the CS6 applications from my computer when cleaning my applications folder. When I try and put the CS6 disk in my laptop, it only allows me the option to uninstall, but not reinstall. If I were to uninstall my entire creative suite from my computer and then reinstall, can I be garaunteed everything will go smoothly without any issues ? I can't afford to deal with any problems regarding my Adobe programs at this moment in time since I have pressing projects for work that need to stay on schedule.

You dont need to uninstall the Creative Suit just buy the licence and activate the product.

Installation errors for Photoshop Creative Suite 4

I did not have success with any solutions suggested for this installation problem. Microsoft has since sent me a message telling me that this application is not compatible with my new computer (Toshiba running Windows 7). It ran just fine on my HP (running Vista). I tried using the Troubleshooting application to see if changing settings on my computer would help - it did not. That is when I submitted the problem to Microsoft and got the response that it is not compatible with my computer. Uggg! Lotta money to spend on an application that becomes obsolete!

My apologies. Speaking out of frustration. I am a fairly good user, but technically, obviously lack some skills to appropriately find my way around this problem.
Here's as much information that I have:
My old computer was an HP Pavillion running Vista OS that I originally ran Adobe Photoshop Creative Suites 4 on with no issues.

1. When I first tried to install Photoshop, I got the error that stopped on RGB settings.
I then ran Adobe Support Advisor diagnostic and got this message:
I then tried the solution that was recommended - going into the color folder and removing the files, transfer them to a folder that I created on my desktop. However, the files would not cut, since they were in use. They then recommended another solution - go into another folder, remove those files and try again. However, when I went to look for that folder, it did not exist.
This is when I went to the forum and asked if anyone had a solution.
Compatibility mode was suggested. I got further information on this and went through the process, launching the application Compatibility Mode. It asked me what system I had previously used to run Photoshop. I entered Vista. It reset my computer to be compatible with those settings and again I tried to install Photoshop. The installation stalled at the RGB.
I went back and tried Vista Service Pack 1, same result, Then Vista Service Pack 2, same result, then hit I don't know. Same result. That's when I hit the send to Microsoft for further help and solutions.
That is when I got the message back from Microsoft that this Photoshop application was not compatible with this Windows 7 Operating system.
I hope this isn't too much, but it's what I have and hopefully I haven't offended anyone overmuch with my previous rant.

Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium trial version says my serial number is invalid?

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium from my my community college's bookstore in 2010. I successfully have used it all this time, but I recently bought a new laptop. This new laptop does not have a disk drive, but I was able to download the trial version of it online. It downloaded great, and I have been using the trial version, but the trial is up in one week. I deactivated my serial number on my old laptop, and then tried to enter it onto my new laptop, but the error message keeps saying "Incorrect Serial Number": "The serial number you entered is not valid." However, the serial number is definitely valid, and I spoke with Adobe and they just checked and were able to see that I do have an activation available for this serial number. Why won't it accept it?
Side Notes:
The licensing is Student Licensing
I downloaded the correct creative suite (Creative Suite 4 Design Premium)
I typed in the serial number correctly and checked multiple times
I cannot afford to purchase an updated version nor Adobe Creative Cloud at this time
Someone please help!! I am very frustrated and the person on Adobe Chat said they do not offer any technical assistance for older products.... Any help is MUCH appreciated!!

Same thing happened to me, except I lost disk 2 and was told to go to the forums.. Seems Adobe isn't too great on their customer service or fixing issues. The problem I was told, was that we have "Student" serials and the one from the download isnt a student version.

Open a document made in Creative Suite 6 because it is saved as InDesign, CC2014 even though my trial has expired before I saved this doc.

2 - as far as I know, you will not be able to open a newer file in an older InDesign program... but, see #1 above

Looking for direct download links for Creative Suite trial versions?

Trial versions of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop Elements, and Adobe Premiere Elements are downloaded using the Adobe Download Assistant — a small application that is meant to improve download reliability and avoid issues that commonly occur during large downloads, such as frequent disconnects.
What do we mean by "large downloads"? Photoshop CS5 and Photoshop Elements, for example, are each over 1.1 GB. The approximate download times for files this size are:
• On a cable connection (3 mbps): 50 minutes.
• On a DSL connection (1.5 mbps): 1 hrs. 39 minutes.
The Adobe Download Assistant helps most people manage the download of these large files, for example by enabling pause/resume of the downloads, and checking to ensure the complete file(s) are downloaded before actual installation begins.

I was trying everything I could think of on my end to download the InDesign trial from this link:

I must have tried it a hundred times using every browser, download manager, login, logout, whatever. At one point the server sent me a 1.2 MB file that was corrupt, but on all other attempts it just errored out. The current response entity is:
Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/IDSN/8/win32/InDesign_8_LS16.exe?" on this server.

When I switched to the 7zip file and after many more attempts it finally downloaded. The exe link never worked.
I don't know if this is a security thing or a failed server but it is not a good way to distribute software either way.
