Creative Suite 6 elements won't launch.

I have previously been able to launch from this computer. I have a registration number and have registered the product. I have tried to re-execute, have removed and reloaded the programs, but nothing seems to fix it. InDesign doesn't get past 'Calling Late Initialisers', and PhotoShop and Acrobat X don't even try to start.

Sorry. I'm using Windows XP, patched to Service Pack 3.
Is this the information you were asking for?

  • Creative Suite programs won't launch anymore

I bought my Creative Suite Standard CS6 and it worked fine for three weeks. Suddenly it won't launch any of the programs. I've tried reinstalling the discs, but it still wont work. Additional information: I'm using Windows 7. I bought the Student/Teacher version and have registered it with Adobe.

  • My Creative Cloud App won't launch

My Creative Cloud App won't launch I'm seeing other posts of the same problem that are unanswered. Is there an issue with cloud today?

I'm having a similar problem. CC is greyed out and has no content when selected, meaning I have no access to my type kit font library. I've uninstalled CC and reinstalled CC. I've followed another course of action which is to trash the opm.db file (username > Library > Application Support > Adobe > OOBE > opm.db) which was advised from another forum, followed by a reinstall again. No joy... any help would be much appreciated

  • Can't attempt the "crash on launch" fix because Creative Cloud itself won't launch...

Running Mac OS X Lion on a 2011 MacBook Pro.
Not only won't any of the apps launch, nothing appears in my menu bar, and the uninstaller won't run either... tried quitting all processes in Activity Monitor and relaunching... no dice.
Also, the Application Manager has attempted to launch itself several times but just hangs and never does anything.
    Any suggestions?

Ok ADI-Dallas I would recommend either completing the following steps or contacting our support team to work with them directly.  The steps I am providing are a bit more generic but should give you the greatest chance of success at resolving your current difficulties.
Attempt to run all available uninstallers in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers
Run the CS Cleaner Tool to remove any remaining installation settings - CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
Archive the Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder by renaming to OOBE_OLD
Reinstall the Adobe Creative Cloud Application from https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
Step 4 may not be necessary but since it is unlikely that any of the uninstallers will function it is best to help ensure that this folder, and the files contained within, will not prevent a successful future installation.

  • Multiple Errors on Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Program Launch

Hi, I'm having trouble with my Adobe Creative Suite - I have the Master Collection 5.5 on Windows 7 that I installed a few years ago but recently (without any changes to the computer at all now...) I have error messages occurring when I try to launch every program - Photoshop for example says 'either not designed to work on windows or contains an error' and Illustrator just says 'an unknown error has occurred' . How can I fix this?
P.s I do have the disks and serial numbers but I cannot remember my activation key. I also bought the programs at university and was assured I could keep using it after I graduated - will this be a problem?
P.p.s I'm dreadful with technology - can anyone walk me through this in baby steps please?
    Thanks
    Amy

  • My Creative Suite 5 won't recognize In Design Files? I have to open them within the program?

I have creative suite Design 5 premium and when I click on an Indesign file within Windows XP in My documents, it won't find the program to open the document. IF i open a file directly from the in design software, opens up fine. I've checked file types, In Design 5 is the default, anyone came across this?

Sounds like you had an earlier version installed and uninstalled it after installing CS5. Easiest fix is to reinstall CS5.

  • Creative Suite 5 won't re-install, need new discs

I am trying to re-install Adobe creative suite 5 on a Mac that it was installed on previously, but i am unable to. After entering the serial number and starting the installer it stops on an "adobehelp" file and the time remaining counter starts climbing up and up. I let it go until it said it was going to take 1500 hours to install. I inpected the dvd and it seems free of scratches but did not work on a second attempt. I need to find out if I can get a new set of discs with an installer that is not broken.

  • Creative Cloud application won't launch

    Hi there
I have re-installed your application 4 times now and have followed instructions to delete a file from my computer as well.  This is now my 5th attempt and it still won't work......really!!!  Can you please tell me what to do to fix this problem?
Not funny when you are paying good money to access software and then it doesn't work.
    Thanks

    Hi fancypride,
    Please follow the steps
    Rename the opm.db file.
Close the Creative Cloud application if it's running.
    Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
Rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db
    Launch Creative Cloud
Please let us know if this was helpful

  • PS8 Elements won't launch editor

On start up of the program where it gives you the option to organize or edit, edit usually launches the editor and I can work in it. It brings up the load bar but then just goes away and I'm still at the same start up. Nothing has changed on my computer that I know of, I'm the only user. Not sure what happened, just woke up one day wanting to use it and it did this. Any help would be appreciated cause I really don't have the money to go buy another program.

    Hi,
Please try couple of probable solutions as mentioned below:
    Solution 1:
    1. Close Elements.
    2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
    3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.
Solution 2: In case any network printer is attached try to launch without network or printer uninstall or make different printer as default.
Solution 3: Try launching with anti-virus off or removing PSE from conflicting list.
    Solution 4:
On the drive on which you have installed PSE,on my machine it is on C:
Go  to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements  8\Locales\<locale>\Plug-Ins\Import-Exportand you will find twain  plug-in. Remove that plug-in from that location and copy it somewhere  else.
Now launch PSE and check if it works.

  • Creative Suite 5 Global Online Launch Event

Well, this just in - after months of wondering we now have an official CS5 launch date - Monday 04.12.2010 at 11am ET...  The new graphics are pretty cool - looks like Adobe is getting back to  nature with an wooden-ish composite look.  And the accompanying invitation text also sounds a  bit "earthen"!
Adobe  CS5 Global Launch will be April 12th

Can you check the solutions mentioned in this thread and let us know if you still have problems?
