Creative Suite 6 install won't start OS x 10.7.4
Installing from disk. Clicking on install icon gives no result, install won't start. No error messages...nothing.
I have the same problem. What did you do to fix it. How do I get the installer to stop hanging in the background?

Did you ever install Acrobat? It is not installed automatically with CS, but requires an extra installation step.

Creative Suite CS4 won't install, it detects an error
I'm trying to reïnstall Illustrator CS4 because it doesn"t start up anymore. But if I try to reïnstall from the Creative Suite disk it hangs and won't install. Running in safe mode I get a message that it detects an error and can't continue with the install. Please help, I need Illustrator to do my work.

Install.app Creative Suite CS5 will not start up on Mac OS X 10.9.4
After a clean unistall I already reinstalled CS4, now i am trying to install the upgrade for disk or downloaded version from the Adobe site for Creative Suite Design Standard CS 5. When I try to start up the install.app I get the message that Installer can not initialize. How can I fix this?

Creative Suite 5 won't re-install, need new discs
I am trying to re-install Adobe creative suite 5 on a Mac that it was installed on previously, but i am unable to. After entering the serial number and starting the installer it stops on an "adobehelp" file and the time remaining counter starts climbing up and up. I let it go until it said it was going to take 1500 hours to install. I inpected the dvd and it seems free of scratches but did not work on a second attempt. I need to find out if I can get a new set of discs with an installer that is not broken.

Creative Suite installed on dead laptop
Hi I installed the creative suite via online installment about 1/2 years ago. Therefore I have never had any of the discs for the programs. My laptop has died as the charger will not charge it so it won't start without power, I have a new laptop and want to move my Creative Suite to my new laptop, as it was a while ago I can't find any emails/documents for my purchase or installation, is there a way I can retrieve them and move the programs to my new laptop?

Creative Suite 4 failing to start
I am attempting to help troubleshoot information as to how to get Creative Suite 4 running. It has been running on two identical machines (less than three months old), and yesterday stopped working on one machine. Both machines are running Windows 8, and on the problematic machine no CS program will start. They all begin to start up, show the main screen briefly, and then crash back to the desktop.
I began by reverting the system to one day last week with system restore, to no avail. Then we attempted reinstalling the product over the top of the existing installation - still no luck. Removing the program completely and reinstalling - still no luck. Following troubleshooting information found in the forums and on the web site, we ran the Adobe Support Advisor - this directed me to instructions on how to remove the color profiles, remove the program, and reinstall. This, again, did not fix the problem.
(The error found by the Support Advisor was "kb403891r2: Error UninstallColorProfilesRollback preventing the installation - Creative Suite 4 Click here for details and corrective actions related to this issue." It showed up two different times, 5 seconds apart.)
I have searched as much as I can in the forums (and googled until I was blue in the face), and can not find a solution to this program. The Windows application error logs simply tell me the files in use when the programs crash, and do not direct me to anything else.
HELP!I did think of one more thing to add - these two machines are literally identical. No extraneous software, same virus scanner, same programs, even the same screen saver. I did run malware scans just to insure that they did not pick something up, but I can not find anything. (And there is not much installed to start with.) The only option I have at this point is to reformat from scratch, but that seems a little extreme for machines only a few months old.

I have creative suite Design 5 premium and when I click on an Indesign file within Windows XP in My documents, it won't find the program to open the document. IF i open a file directly from the in design software, opens up fine. I've checked file types, In Design 5 is the default, anyone came across this?
Sounds like you had an earlier version installed and uninstalled it after installing CS5. Easiest fix is to reinstall CS5.

Adobe Creative Suites Premium: error when starting says that there is missing or invalid info
I have tried several suggestions from others online and still cannot get Adobe Creative Suites to work. It worked on my old computer but not my new one which has Windows 7. I have a wedding to finish editing so please help!!

Creative Suite programs won't launch anymore
I bought my Creative Suite Standard CS6 and it worked fine for three weeks. Suddenly it won't launch any of the programs. I've tried reinstalling the discs, but it still wont work. Additional information: I'm using Windows 7. I bought the Student/Teacher version and have registered it with Adobe.

Grayed out Photoshop CS2 on Creative Suite install disk
I had to uninstall Creative Suite CS2 because I wanted to try CS5. Come to find out after a lot of frustration unable to do because I have a G5 that does not have an intell processor. When I tried to reload the Creative Suite CS2 the Photoshop was grayed out. Unable to click onto it to install. Any suggestions? I am a web and graphic desighner with no photoshop! UGH!
