Creative x-fi fatality fps compatible with winxp 64 bi

Hello,I am trying to install my new soundcard as listed in the subject on my new system. I have a asus p5b deluxe and 2gb ddr2 ram. Currently running windows xp 64bit and need the driver to get it work on my system. Please when i install it in the pci slot, boot the computer then cancel the windows plug and play then intall the drivers the card doesnt install. Help me out here please. Thanks?changes65

Yes the card is "compatible" with xp 64bit. I had issues with getting sound out of the rear speakers using 5. setup... but editing the boot.ini fixed that. But yeah the issue you are having is not normal and could mean you have a bad card.

  • Is Adobe Flash compatible with WinXP using `Dual Core CPUs ??

Is Adobe Flash compatible with WinXP using Dual Core CPUs ??
I have this in my current system
    WinXP 32bit SP3
    Asus M2N68-AM Plus motherboard
AMD X2 7850 Black Edition Dual Core CPU
    2GB DDR2
WD Caviar SE16 500GB SATA drive
    Onboard VGA **only**
I keep having consistent problems using this new motherboard with a Dual Core CPU
My new motherboard keeps crashing randomly while watching video online.
I can watch a video for about 2 min or even 20min and then the PC randomly crashes
I get this weird mosaic pattern on the screen whenever it crashes and then I have to press Reset to Reboot
And it **only** crashes after streaming a video on any of the websites, YouTube, CBS.com, NBC.com, Hulu.com etc, etc
My last PC never crashed while watching a video online - it was just slow since Adobe player is a hog -- and it was still a 1.8GHZ CPU !!
My last PC is still using version 10.1 for the Adobe Flash player -- and it ***never*** crashes
The most I ever see happen on that one is that the player might occasionly crash in the video window and the error message says to reload the Flash player.
Then I tried this remedy of disabling the Hardware Acceleration in the Adobe Settings  -- but no luck still.
I even downgraded to 10.1, then 10.0 and it still keeps getting these random crashes while watching video
I'm wondering if WinXP 32bit is really compatible with Adobe Flash when using a Dual Core CPU
Before I plunk down $100 for Win7, I'm thinking about trying Ubuntu and see what luck I have.
I haven't seem anything to the contrary yet.
    thanks,

What browser & version do you use?
How exactly does that "crash" manifest itself?  What exact error message are you getting?
Have you tried to update the device drivers for your graphics/video/display adapter?

  • How do I know if Creative Suite 5.5 is compatible with my laptop

How do I know if Creative Suite 5.5 is compatible with my laptop, I have a HP 640 laptop with intel graphics card 4600 motherboard integrated.

One way would be to check the system requirements for whichever CS5.5 suite you are thinking of getting.  If you search Google using "CS5.5 version system requirements" you should be able to find some information.
Another option would be to download the trial version of the software and use it for 30 days to see if it works for you.
If you do not already own CS5.5, you should realize that Adobe does not sell older versions of their software.

  • Is creative suite 1 vers 8 compatible with windows 7

I have Creative Suite 1 Vers 8 and I am having problems loading the Photoshop software.  Is this version compatible with Windows 7 Ultimate ?

Yes/ no/ maybe/ whatever. It may work if you know your way around your system and can tweak the respective problem areas, but then again it may not work at all. Either way, the technical aspects are moot because of this:

  • Is Creative Suite Master Collection CS3 compatible with Windows 7?

Hi I was just wondering if Master Collection CS3 was compatible with Windows 7. Has it been tested and was it successful? Or were there problems with it? If so is CS4 compatible or would I have to buy the newest version? I would just like a simple answer if you could give it referring to if I can use it and if there's any problematic occurances that come with putting the two together. Thank you.
    Meepsie18

No, CS3 was never tested on Win 7 and thus is not officially compatible or certified with it. The first version to fit that criteria is indeed CS4. That doesn't mean that CS3 couldn't run at alll on Win 7, though. Many users do, but the specific level of success depends on too many factors, so nobody can give you a definitive answer. If you can afford it, just get CS6/ Creative Cloud.

  • Is Creative Suite CS 5.5 compatible with the new Mac OS maverick

Can anyone out there please tell me if Creative Suite CS 5.5 is compatible with the new Mac OS Maverick.
It seems that Adobe are willing to sell products but they make it damn near impossible to ask a simple question.

  • IPod and iTunes not compatible with WinXP

It appears that the iPod (I have a 4GB nano) and iTunes (I tried what was on the CD, as well as the latest download of 6) are not compatible with Windows XP Media Center Edition (patched to the hilt, all the latest updates installed).
Installation works fine but iPod updater does not terminate cleanly and the iPod nano does not get rebooted properly, and although iTunes sees the iPod when it is plugged in, it does not recognize it from plug-in to plug-in (it's supposed to remember the name of the iPod device, and not re-prompt you to register, etc.).
Also, when attempting to copy MP3 files to the iPod, it appears as though they are copying but they do not wind up on the iPod no matter how hard you try.
Windows 2000 SP4, however, does not have any problems with the iTunes or iPod updater software and everything seems to work just fine.
It would behoove Apple to investigate the compatibility problem that their software has with Windows XP Media Center Edition, and fix it as soon as possible.

When i startup itunes it says:
"The software required for communicating with the ipod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall itunes to install the Ipod's software"
I am on xp media center edition 2005
When I run the ipod updater it gives me "ipod service error"
    What can i do?
I bought the 4gb nano just yesterday.
both my ipod and itunes software are the Updated September 23, 2005 versions
ps on my old pc with winxp sp2 barebones edition, it works fine...
maybe its cos in mce 2k5 i got 2 users?

  • Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Standard compatible with MAC OS 10.10.2?

I have the Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Standard, but when I need to print from Adobe illustrator CS3 it will popup the following error
    Anyone can help?

    You are welcome, Priscilla.
If you have upgraded to Yosemite without reinstalling CS3, you may uninstall in the same way as you normally uninstall, then install again in the same way as when you first installed it. You may rn the Cleanar Tool in between, to be on the safe side with regard to strange things lingering, but it should be unnecessary if everything has worked before the Yosemite upgrade.
    http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
As mentioned, you should update your CS3:

Concerning drivers I have no clue, I am afraid, being too silly to use a Mac.

  • Is Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design standard compatible with mac yosemite OS X?

    Hello!
My Mac OS X is Version 10.6.8 and I want to update the software to yosemite! Now I´m worried if all my programs from Adobe Creative Suite 6: Design Standard still works with Yosemite? or If i will have troubles or if I have to install all the programs again?!
    Thanks

Same question, same answer: You won't know until you try. There are some known issues with Yosemite compatibility in any Adobe program, including CC products, but the specifics will depend on the details. Either way, make sure to deactivate before upgrading and then reinstall CS6 afterwards.
