I've bought Creative Zen MX player a couple months ago. First thing I noticed when I plug in it into my computer was that battery after 3 hours was not full, what is more computer disconnected with it couple times;/
After weeks or two when I tried to charge it i Went where I bought it and they said after some examination that it really didn't work
They've sent it to the service. I had t wait for the return two months!!! and at the end they said that that tiny usb wire was damaged not mp3.
OK . The battery was fully charged maybe on 5 attempts ;/
There is no problem in my computer because I tried it on several other and it did not work ;/ ?Please, help me

I have been trying to give it a full charge over the last 2 days once on a power adapter plugged into the wall the other through the USB port on my laptop .each for about 8hrs each. Using different cables. I remove the player and it shows full battery (never gives the plug icon though)and within 30 minutes of play music, I get the low battery warning. it was purchased on 0/6/200. nAlso it will not power on while charging.My original ZEN was able to play music when charging this one says DOCKED and will not repond to the power button being presses.

Creative zen 4g problems with song/artist ***

hey all--
i'm mostly very happy with my new 4g creative zen, to which I upgraded from my old g zen nano that I love. my only problem is that many, many files i try to transfer to it (i've used both the zen organizer software as well as the windows explorer drag-and-drop method) come up all strange. for instance, songs by artist A will show up in? artist B's folder, with artist B's song names as titles for artist A's songs.
now, granted, i have been ripping music onto my hard dri've for years, and many of the original discs i ripped may have been burned copies. plus, many of the discs may be pre-AAC encoding.
Also, as I said, once the songs are on my Zen, they appear in these weird places and under the wrong names, but when I look at them through the Zen software on my computer, they appear correctly.
so (i may be kind of answering my own question here) is AAC encoding the problem? and if so, is there a conversion tool allowing me to convert the files i already have to AAC?
another thought: if this has to do with IDE-3 tags, what can I do to rename the songs so they will come up correctly?

Creative Zen have problems with AAC files

)C I have a Creative Zen 4GB. When i play AAC files (.m4a ripped with iTunes) they are played regularly, but if I switch off the Zen while playing them, when I turn on newly the device it is completely frozen and I must reset it.
Anyone can tell some on this problem? The firmware is the latest.

Exactly the problem that I have with my 8GB-player! The firmware update didn't help. Does anyone have an idea?

Nano problems with charging battery??? HELP!!

Hello I have an Ipod nano for 1 week now and everything works great but It will not charge the battery.. I have rebooted computor, reinstalled everything back to stock settings.. Did the four R's.. It seems to start recharging when it is downloading songs but when it is done downloading it stops charging the battery.. Any suggestions?? I need all the help I can!! Thankyou Randy

i have an ipod nano too but not that problem.try turning on the computer and then plug the nano in , if it works the screen will say "dont disconnect.look up in the right hand corner of your ipod and see if there is a lightning bolt. if there is that means it is charging.but if it just shows the same old battery with energy in it then it isnt working. Creative Zen 8GB Problem with Recognizing Mu

For some reason, whenever I go through the artists menu to select music, when I click on an artist, it shows with no tracks available even though when I go through the (ALL MUSIC TRACKS) option the song shows up. I tried rebuilding the memory and updating album info, but the tracks still aren't appearing. Anyone have any idea why this occurs?

Make sure that all your music tracks has ID3 tags. The player requires the ID3 tags to show up on the player.

My iphone 4s only charges to 96% Is there a problem with my battery

Is there a known problem with the battery life of the iPhone 4S? I only have my phone a few weeks and the battery life is very poor. I've made sure that there aren't lots of things running at the same time (and I'm not using iCloud), but need to charge my phone every night which I never had to do with my old iPhone 3. In addition I have noticed that my iPhone never charges 100%, only 96%, I've tried discharging the battery totally and then recharging the phone just in case it's a calibration issue. Should I bring the phone back to have the battery replaced?

If you are getting around 10 hours of use out of the battery you are probably fine at 98% and it may just be that the battery needs to be calibrated in order to see the full 100% on the indicator. Try the charge cycle and see what happens.

I have had the same problem but I seem to be getting somewhere to fixing it!!! My battery was going down at 20% an an hour now its 10% with constant use and 5 in standby !!! So improvement all round
First I did a restore then I drained the battery i started to charge it and when it came on I turned the phone off completely and let it charge to 100% I then left it for a couple of hours on charge at 100. I saw no improvement after 1st drain so I repeated the drain battery and charge steps again with the phone turned off when charging and have seen a very big improvement. I am going to do it again tonight and hopefully problem solved!!!!
The next issue is iMessage as that's playing up and wifi drop out

If it's a 2nd gen shuffle, it is probably about six years old at this point. The cause is likely to be a worn out battery that is no longer able to hold its charge for very long.

But it is very small, so you need to be good at doing such things. The cost to have a repair shop do the work is likely to be uneconomical, compared to the cost of a brand new 4th gen shuffle ($50), which has more features (and possibly double the storage) plus a one-year warranty.

Plug it in for 15 minutes. If it doesn't come on hold the HOME button (the round one) and the SLEEP button (the one on the top) at the same time until an Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). If nothing appears on the screen after 30 seconds you have a dead phone; take it back for exchange.

Well I have been goggling over the web...and my only idea is to look in amazon.com and I found three sources( one is through a company in california allmac.com but the condition of the battery in stock for sale is " used, like new" for $99 and the other source is refurbished do you think that buying a refurbished battery is making a great deal or the worst i could be making in my life????
Any other suggestion, about my issue of the battery, I tried plugging & moving the cable it in any waw possible and still it doesn`t charge

New Creative Zen Players are not charging so I cannot fix my other proble

I just bought a Creative Zen MP3 Player and the battery isn't charging...it has been about 0 hours and nothing. I am charging the MP3 via wall outlet and still nothing. This also means that I cannot update any firmware or go into recovery mode to fix my other problem which is my Windows XP doesn't plug and play the MP3 player so that I cannot of course update my firmware and recovery mode. I also have another Creative Zen MP3 Player and it works fine, but I think once also have a charging problem asall, but it it does plug & play and connect. Once again I cannot update the firmware and recovery mode beause my battery on my 2nd one isn't charge enought.
So I cannot fix these problems until I get my batterys on my MP3 charged. This is my first problem. So can someone help me with my st problem than I can get my 2nd problem solved. Thanks

How can you tell if your Zen is defecti've/faulty?
1. A "white screen" or a "totally blank black screen" shows up on the Zen LCD.
2. You cannot force the Zen into the special "Recovery Mode" menu screen.
3. The Zen refuses to "take a charge"? (To charge up the internal Lithium-Ion Polymer battery) <-------- Your problem
4. The Zen LCD is cracked or distorted due to dropping or handling abuse.
5. The Zen clock does not keep accurate time (within 2 mins max per month)
Contact Creative if any of the above faults occur - the Zen is bad and nothing you can do will fix it!

I too am so angry with my new carrier , This new year I decided to end my contract with Softbank because they did so many nasty things to foreigners over the years with like roaming charges 5 bad 3G 2 bad 4G iPhones and Apple store Sendai trying to play it ,we have no control over carriers.
So I had to pay a painful contract ending payment and MNP charge so I could use my paid for number on a NTT
iPhone 5 C that was at a 1 JP Yen special plan ,They just put on options you do not need like Wallet and charge for it ,then when I finally went throught the most rigourous security checks I was given a already opened Box because after I noticed the tape around the clear plastic top was missing and either side I saw Japanese customers opening the box by them selves I was not offered why ? when io came back they said they can open it do what ever they want until the money goes into the carriers account because I got it for free!,yet they will milk me for 2 years ! Blood suckers! Japan is a rip off.And they lock it so you can not use WiFi after 2 year contract.
Getting back to the point ,Because I was a new customer and Gaijin they are stopping me from clearing History ,it should be blue but greyed out ,they do so they can track browesing then sell my data on preferences for shopping.
Not only Apple that is keeping track it is also Carriers who are working together to get more money from us and not only that they damage your iPhone out of spitefulness because you canceleed the contract and want to use WiFi only They send so mant Ads trying to sell rubbish and you can not stop it ,and they change the contract in the middle and also try to stop you from cancelling a contract by telling you will be black listed.
