Creative Zen Nano P

Hello there! I have one mp3 player and I tried to connect him to my Panasonic compact audio system SA-DH30 with the "Line In" Cable but it isn't working.
What can I do?

First, I am not sure if you are trying to record TO the Zen Nano or playing music FROM the Nano. I am going to assume that you want to play the music on your Nano through your system. First, you need a Y-connector. This will have a /8" stereo plug on end and two RCA connectors on the other. These are cheap- found at Radio Shack, on Ebay etc. To playback your Nano, you use the headphone jack, not the Line In jack. The cable you were supplied with is used for recording TO the Nano. If you stereo does not have auxilary RCA inputs (could be labled "aux, tape, line-in,cd"), you may be unable to use your Nano. Another possibility, if you have a cassette player, is to purchase one of those cassette adaptors typicallly used with car stereos.

My Creative Zen Nano is getting power on, but it does not play the music. I have many music files and those files have been played for long time, but now they are not playing. When I checked the contents of the player using my PC, the folders are shown as .exe files. Could you please let me know how to correct the player, so that it could play the files. Creative Zen Nano Plus Media Explorer only works for administra

Creative Zen Nano Plus Media Explorer only works for the administrator account; for other users the message "The Zen Nano Plus is not connected. Please connect your Zen Nano Plus to the computer." is displayed, but it *is* connected and works under other programs.
Version is .0.03.

How exactly do you do this? I checked this out tonight - when I logged onto my PC using my son's Limited User account (XP Home, BTW) I could connect his N200 and see it in Device Manager and Windows Explorer but both Creative pieces of software (CMS and N200 Media Explorer) did not see that it was there!
I tried setting the Run As... properties for the CTMS.exe file to run as one of the Admin user accounts but kept getting an error about being unable to find a specific file (which is in the Media Explorer folder!). When I went back to using the current user the error stopped. Perhaps I need to set the Run As.. options on that file as well?
As we don't use DRM'd music this isn't going to be a problem but it would be good to find out the cause of this once and for all.
I'm going to see if WMP0 has problems as well or if it's just the Creative ap

Creative Zen Nano Plus..cords..warnin

Hello. i just got a Creative Zen Nano Plus and while I was going through the manual that came with it I noticed there was a warning about the cord(s): "WARINING: The cord(s) included with this product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproducti've harm. Wash hands after handling. " I'm wondering if Creative has changed the components of these cords. And if so can they be replaced somehow. I don't want to use a cord that may cause cancer or birth defects.

California law states that notification should be given if a product contains certain amounts of lead. Many types of electrical cords use small amounts of lead to make them more flexible and the USB cord used with many of our products is no different.

I´ve bought a creative zen nano plus and couldn´t make it work on my Mac. Does anyone knows if there is any restrictions for creative mp3 players to install on Macs? There´s anything I can do?

My Creative Zen Nano Plus bro

my Creative Zen Nano Plus mp3 player stopped working after i dropped the mechanical part. When I checked it, I didn't see any chip marks or anything, but still it won't work. Can anyone help me? I'll post up pictures if u need me too, and I'll show how it broke.

They must have been talking about a different player such as the Zen Micro which does recharge via the USB port.

Im planning to buy Creative Zen Nano Plus GB.
. Does Creative Zen Nano Plus audio line-in recoreder offer excellent quality of sound music when you record a certain music through a CD player's line-in?

3. Does the recorded sound quality the same as when you just download the music file through your PC's USB connection?

Is there something I need to set in the player to allow it to play out of it's line-in function?
You connected the ZNP's headphone out to your car|shelf|portable stereo's line-in, right? The line-in on the ZNP itself is only used to record external audio sources onto the player. The stereos may need to be set to play back from their line-inputs if they don't detect the signal and switch automatically, but that should be explained in the corresponding manuals.

Creative Zen Nano and Musicma

I won some downloads. They are from Musicmatch. I have winodws 98SE. I downloaded the free jukebox. I downloaded a few songs with no problem. I just received a Creative Zen Nano. I installed the software for it. I transferred those songs to the player with no problem. When I tried downloading more songs on Musicmatch it showed that the download was complete, but then it gave me a software error message. It showed that I purchased the downloads, but they did not show up in my playlist. I don't know what the problem is. Do you think it is conflicting with the creative software? Should I uninstall part of it's I had no problem downloading before I installed the Creative software. I hope someone can help. Thanks.

I used to really love the product but since yahoo purchased it, it turned to crap. I went ahead and updated it anyway. One little thing I noticed was now the volume only goes up to 25 like my Zen Touch instead of 40 or whatever that it did before. Same loudness, different numbers only. Other than that, I have not noticed anything different, but it seemed to work OK scrolling through a song with the old firmware. I did not, obviously, do a detailed comparison.

Faulty Creative Zen Nano Plus Battery Co

Hello. I am new in this forum.
I bought a Creative Zen Nano Plus MP3 Player from the IT show in March this year and 3 months later, the tip of the Battery Cover CRACKS and now the Battery Cover cannot be fixed back to the MP3 Player.
Anyone here has SIMILAR EXPERIENCE with me?
I went down to CREATIVE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PARK to buy the Battery Cover but was told it was OUT OF STOCK and I need to wait. Does the CREATIVE MARINA SQUARE has a Customer Care Centre where I can purchase the Battery Cover? Hear from anyone in the forum again. Thanks

Yes, this is quite a common occurence on the Nano, Nano Plus and N200 as the catch is very flimsy. The one on the V200 seems sturdier.
An email to Support in your region should do the trick - in Europe they sent me one straight back in the post.

The Nano Plus works fine with AAA nimh rechargeable batteries. The great thing about a player that uses a AAA battery is that AAA nimh rechargeables are inexpensi've, and most chargers will charge up to 4 batteries at a time. A charger and 4 AAA nimh batteries is only around $20. When a battery runs out of power just replace it with a charged one. If someone has a player with a built in battery, then when the battery power is exhausted, they can't listen to music until the player is recharged.

Creative Zen Nano help ple

Hi i'm new here and i'm very sorry if you have seen these post already.
I have a Creative Zen Nano GB for almost a year now. 3 days ago i noticed it started to turn off by itself. I did everything from changing the batteries, to deleting all the songs on it, and updating the Firmware. When i updated the Firmwire it worked fine for about hour then it shut off by itself, i went to turn it back on and no luck. It still wont turn on, but it hooks up to the computer fine. Can anyone please help me with whats wrong? I'm leaving for Florida in the next day, and we are driving and i need my mp3. Please help. Please and Thanks

Are you using WMA files? Many of the problems people seem to have with the Nano Plus are when using wma files. I rarely use wma files on my n200.

I assume that it is/was brand new in an unopened package. If that is the case-take it back. For that matter return it anyway. The Nano Plus doe snot work this way. The 'scroll wheel' is both rotate and press-in. The instruction are pretty good at explaining it. Not having a working display is not good at all.

ITunes not recognizing Creative ZEN Nano Plus

Hello,
My MP3 player is a *Creative ZEN Nano Plus* & I download my Audible.com audio books into iTunes. iTunes says my ZEN Nano Plus is a different Creative product, a *Nomad MuVo*. At the bottom of the screen, it shows me how much space I have left, but does not list files nor give me a way to manage files. Does iTunes need a plug-in or someway to identify my player? Will a future iTunes version handle non-Apple products better?

iTunes isn't compatible with anything but iPods, so I'm not sure where you got the information that you could use iTunes for your audible account with the Creative player. After looking at the audible website on their list of supported players, it indicates that you would have to use WMP to manage your audible downloads on the Creative. In regards to whether or not iTunes will handle non-Apple products in the future, we are simply fellow users so no one on these boards can really offer an answer. All I can say is that iTunes, since it's inception, has really only been compatible with the numerous kinds of iPods.

Creative Zen Nano Plus won't turn on!!!!Please h

For some reason, my 256MB Creative Zen Nano Plus that I've only had for three months has suddenly failed to turn on. I have changed the battery several times so I know it isnt that, but when?I press the power button, the 'creative' logo comes up for about 2 seconds with the blue backlight before switching itself off. When I plug my player in my creative media organiser on my computer through the USB though, it connects absolutely fine and I can upload my media files, its just literally turning it on that is such a problem. I can't explain why its doing this, the only thing I'm thinking of is that it was in my handbag for about 6 weeks without being touched so I'm not sure if something in my bag could've damaged it's But I'm worried because I'm not sure if my player is under warranty as?I don't have the warranty sticker on the back of, only a number and a bar code?Can anyone possibly help as I've been everywhere to try and get it fixed but no one knows whats wrong!?Thank you?Laura.

Can you still connect your player to your PC? If so then you can reload the firmware. Go to the Support, Downloads page for the Nano Plus and download the firmware from there. Make sure you click on the Show Details link as that explains how to carry out the reload.
