Creative Zen - Transfering from the Computer to Zen. He
Hi there.
I've just got a Creative Zen and i've got a bit of a problem with it. Basically, i've transfered some music to the computer, but i can't transfer it to the actual Creative Zen. I've plugged the machine in through the USB but in Sources, it doesn't show up as an option. I tried looking on the Help area, but it didn't really...help much really.
Can anyone help me?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. neither my ipad or ipod are being recognized by itunes so i can't transfer songs from itunes playlists to the two devices. this is new, as far as a week ago i transferred music from the computer to the ipod. can anyone help?

I'm trying to transfer the files from my Ipod touch to my new computer. It is saying that not all of the files will be transferred because the computer isn't authorized. I have authorized it several times but it keeps bring up a previous apple id that I had but when I try to log in using that id it tells be it is no longer vailid and then it stops and won't let me transfer any files. Any suggestion are welcome. Thank You
The computer has to be authorized for the account that purcchased the media.
What error message are you getting when you try to lauthorize the computer for that account?

I am using OS 10.6.8 and just installing logic pro 9. I am downloading the extra 20gig of material - the additional content packages. I am installing Logic on my laptop as well and dont want to download the extra 20 gig again. How do i go about transferring it from the computer to the laptop?
ThanksAnd now a second newbie question. I have downloaded the additional content and booted up logic for the first time, but the apple loops have not installed and logic is asking me to reinstall the apple loops. But how do I do that? I can see they are in the libray so have downloaded.

I downloaded tv shows from iTunes onto my iPad, but when I plugged into my computer it erased them from the iPad and they didn't get transferred to the computer. How do I get them back?
First, is your iTunes account on your computer, the account you set up your iPad with and the one you sync regularly with? If yes, just reconnect your iPad to your computer, via USB and open iTunes. After your iPad syncs, and you see the message that it's OK to disconnect, don't disconnect. Click once on the iPad from the left side of your iTunes screen. This will open your iPad in iTunes. You would then click on Videos and you'll see the TV shows you downloaded. You can choose individual shows, or choose to sync all videos to your iPad. After you've moved what you wanted back, click apply, then sync again and you should be fine.

I have a 3G I Phone and Just got a new PC. Have run a sync in I tunes but none of he songs, etc. in the I phone have transferred over. How does one accomplish this taks?
Only iTunes purchases may copy over via File > Transfer Purchases - otherwise syncing is one way, from the computer to the device. To get the rest of your music/films etc onto the new computer you can copy the backup from your old computer onto the new one and then load them into iTunes

Does anyone know if a Zen Micro from the States(0V) can be charged in Europe(220V) without problems? Or a player from the states in europe? Do I need an adapter?
mareigaeyeah it works fine, u dont need any transofmrer or anything, u just need a small adapter that changes the form of the slots (two round thingies and not rectangles)

i have multiple devices backed up to the same computer each with different data. how do i keep them from syncing all data when i back up or transfer stuff from the computer to a device? one is an iphone 6 and the others are ipad mini first gens, each ipad has 64gb and the iphone has 128, need to keep the data seperate as they are not all mine
Itunes content and pics are NOT part of the backup that itunes performs.

You should transfer any purchases from iphone regularly: File>Transfer Purchases , if they fail to be transferred when you sync.
You buy one and only one download. It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your purchases.
You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception, but they are under no obligation to allow.

I have moved my iTunes library to a new Windows 7 PC and cannot transfer music from the new iTunes PC to my iPhone 4S. The iPhone will only accept music transfers from the original iTunes PC. I have come to understand that an iPhone can have only one "daddy" iTunes PC, but have not been able to find out how to change the "daddy". I have done a backup of the iPhone, and a "Restore to Original Settings". Then I restored the content using the new iTunes PC. My Apps and contacts, etc. are back on the iPhone, but it still won't accept music from the new iTunes PC.
What happens when you try to sync the iphone to the new computer?

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your iPod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your device for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

If you are not transferring any data and would like to disconnect your Reader device, click the eject button in the Reader (eBook) Library software. The message on your Reader device will now be USB connected and you can safely remove the connection or continue to charge.
NOTE: If you have already closed the Reader Library software, you can use the Safely Remove Hardware feature of the Windows® operating system to disconnect your Reader device from the computer. -
