Try also adding:
Logon as a Service and Act as Part of the Operating System.
I assume you are using a domain account and not one that is local to the box being monitored, correct?
Also, in OEM, go to Preferences...Preferred Credentials and enter the user name and password that you are using for the Normal Username and Normal Password and then click test. If this works, you should be good to go.

    I have published via iWeb for some time, but after I created a new webpage, I have been unable to publish again. This is the latest error message...
    ".Mac account credentials validation failed for account “account name."
    I have tried publishing via wireless internet and direct connect to router, with the same results. The apple support site recommendation is to upgrade to iWeb 1.1.1 or higher, but I'm already running 1.1.2.

I return to iWeb, and publishing activity has stopped.

  • .Mac account credentials validation failed for account "myaccount".

    I made some changes on my web site but when I tried publishing I got back this as a "Publish Error"--.Mac account credentials validation failed for account “dannpurvis”.
    How do I fix this?
    Thanks,
    Dann

    I had to do this four or five times - but it eventually worked!
    Thanks!
    One thing that I did was I went into my System Prefs
    and under the .Mac, I just deleted my account name
    and password in the fields, pressed enter which just
    refreshed the fields to make me enter my account &
    pass again. It went through verification process and
    accepted my password, logging me in again.
    Went back to iWeb and everything uploaded as normal.
    Hope this helps.

  • XSQL user credentials validated?

    Other members have made similar request but I have not seen a sample code solution.
    From a PDA device serveral xsql components are being called to retrieve and pass in data to a designated database. We would like to be able to call the xsql component but have the xsql component validate user credentials(database login) prior to fullfilling an sql request.
    Therefore is there a way to modify the xsql component so we pass it the username and password thus validating it? Is anyone willing to share their method or generic samples of code to accomplish this.

    Kapil,
    The username/password for the consroot.odb will be system/manager and for your application db would be system/<<password of the olite user>>. Suppose if the password for user JACK is JACK123, the password for the application databases would be system/JACK123.
    After you install OLite, by default system schema gets created.
    For your application that needs custom screen for login, you can create a user in these tables and provide access to the user. So you know your user name and password that you need to compare. but you will have to figure out storing this password somewhere outside the OLite.
    But, I do not see a clear point in this authentication. When the user enters a password, that is the password u use for JDBC call or synchronize. If there is an exception thrown (Refer the list of Message for appropriate exception in Oracle Lite docs) means the password is wrong. This way your customized login screen can use the same username/password on the client.

    How do we send photos by email in Photoshop Elements 13?

    Hi Gordon,
    It is not a good idea to post live email addresses in replies as this is a public forum and somebody might harvest the addresses for scamming.
    For clarification, I will go through the preferences that you should have set up.
    Go to Edit -> Preferences - Email
    Click on the New button
    Give it a Profile Name like MyGmail, select Gmail from the drop down list of service providers and then click on OK
    Enter your Email address - this is the account to send the photos from not who you are sending them to. The address should be in the format [email protected]
    Enter your name
    Enter the password for the email account you gave in 4 above
    Click on Validate - It should come back and say credentials validated successfully - if not check your settings.
    Click on OK and close the preferences.
    Now try sending a photo.

    From what I've read in this forum and in others is
    that the problem is often related to the owner/group
    permissions associated with the bin/nmo and bin/nmb

    I am not sure which "posted solutions" you had, but this is related to not running root.sh which must be run against the Agent Home.
    1. Stop the Agent (emctl stop agent) while connected to the OS as Oracle user (normally oracle) that installed Grid Control
    2. Connect to the OS as root and run root.sh from Agent ORACLE_HOME (if you do not have root access, your System Admin can do it)
    3. Start the Agent (emctl start agent) while connected to the OS as Oracle user

  • How to Setup another Access Policy 5.3

    hi everyone,
    Thank you for your help in advance. I am new to v5.3, and I am not good at VPN. So hope you can help.
    I just have my consultant to configure this correctly just today. Currently, there is only one rule for the access policy (Single Result Selection). That rule is to use Active Directory as the source for the authentication. And by default will deny any other access which is not found in the rule.
    Now... I just got an order that I need to setup a new user who will need to access to our network by using Cisco IPSec VPN (the software one). But that user is not setup in our Active Directory, and we do not want him to access our domain anyway. He only needs to access non-domain resourse...such as airconditioning controller by IP. So I am thinking to setup his account by using "internal identtity". If I do this way, what do I need to do to setup another access policy? May you give me some steps with little more details?
    OR... if it is not the way I should do...what else can I do to achieve this goal? Also, he said he could provide his static IP trying to access from.
    I have a ASA 5520.
    Thank you very much for your help.
    Takami Chiro

    Hello,
    Instead of creating a separate rule for the credentials validation you can edit the existing one that points to AD1 (only) and change it to a result on the ACS that checks both AD1 and Internal Users. In that case we need to use Identity Store Sequence. Refer to the steps below:
    On the ACS GUI > Users and Identity Stores > Identity Store Sequences > Create > Select "Password Based" and on the first box move AD1 and Internal Users to the right. Please do the same on the box at the bottom.
    The option "Internal User/Host Advanced Option: If internal user/host not found or disabled then exit sequence and treat as "User Not Found" should stay unchecked. Click submit.
    After creating the ID Store Sequence you need to change the Identity Result where you had AD1. Now the name of the ID Store will display as an available option. Please select that one and save the changes.
    With the above configuration, the expected behavior would be:
    1) ACS receives a request from the Internal User.
    2) ACS tries to validate the credentials against AD.
    3) AD returns an "User Unkown" response.
    4) ACS moves to the Internal Users.
    5 ACS successfully authenticates the user validating the provided credentials against Internal Users.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards.

  • Oracle Worklist API -- OWSM

    Hi,
    I am invoking SOA suite 11G (11.1.1.5) human task application (sits in one wls server domain) from a web application (sits in another wls domain) using oracle worklist api and showing the task details in my web app. I would like to do the user credentials validation at SOA application side by adding owsm username token policy to my composite application.
    So there are 2 questions:
    1.How do I pass (or construct) the username token details in worklist client class which resided in my web application?
    2. Will OWSM can check these user credentials against our own database table or always against the weblogic identity store?
    Please provide some inputs.
    Thanks,
    Cdhar

    Hi,
    i'm also trying to access the worklist from a java program, authentication using jazn xml works fine.
    IWorkflowServiceClient wfSvcClient =               WorkflowServiceClientFactory.getWorkflowServiceClient(WorkflowServiceClientFactory.REMOTE_CLIENT);
    ITaskQueryService querySvc = wfSvcClient.getTaskQueryService();
    IWorkflowContext ctx = querySvc.authenticate("jcooper",     "welcome1",
                             null, null);
    List queryColumns = new ArrayList();
                   queryColumns.add("TASKID");
                   queryColumns.add("TASKNUMBER");
                   queryColumns.add("TITLE");
                   List tasks = querySvc.queryTasks(ctx,queryColumns,
                             null, ITaskQueryService.ASSIGNMENT_FILTER_MY,
                             null, null, null, 0, 0);
    However querySvc.queryTasks always returns empty.
    I've tried to check the worklistapp, and the tasks are there.
    could somebody tell me what are the mistakes?
    Thanks in advance,

  • Spoke with APPLE SUPPORT about iWeb1.1

    I contacted Apple support about the problem with iweb 1.1. Basically, I informed them of the discussion board and specifically to all the posts with the error messages. Seems like this was news to them. However, the support staffer was going to get it to the iweb engineers or at least make sure that they were aware of the problem(s).
    Like many of you I have had trouble with the publication of my site. Let's hope Apple is now fully aware and will let us know soon what is going on.
    All we can do now is keep informing Apple of the situation and wait.
