Credit card for itunes account

When i go to sign up for itunes it asked me for my credit card but i dont want to use my credit card how do i get i it o i dont give them that info

First, it's best to start a new topic with your question. It's impolite to tack a question onto someone else's thread.
Second, don't type all in caps. It is generally considered inappropriate to type all in uppercase letters in Internet discussions, as text that is typed all in uppercase is by convention considered to be shouting. Uppercase is also more difficult to read, so please use all uppercase sparingly and only when you really mean to shout, which we hope you won’t need to do here .
Third, search this forum for "security code". You'll find the subject discussed in multiple threads already.
Regards.

  • Can I enter Credit Card for iTunes account on web?

I just created an iTunes account recently for my son who has an iPad.  He'll be using this to purchase apps.  He has the iPad and also his Mac which has iTunes on it.  I want to be able to enter my credit card information into his account so that any apps purchased are charged to my card.  Yet I don't have access to his iPad or Mac and don't want to give him my actual card #.  Is there a way I can log into his iTunes account on the web and add credit card information?  Thanks!

You can use an iTunes gift card to create an account. See this ->iTunes Store: How to redeem an iTunes Gift Card
You can also create an account without a card and use it for free apps and artwork. See this -> Create an iTunes App Store account without a credit card
Pay attention to step 4 "Important: Before proceeding to the next step, you must purchase a free application by clicking 'Free App'."

How do you remove credit card # from iTunes account without entering a new one because added money to account from gift card?

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link.  If you are doing it on your iPhone then try tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and select 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

How can I remove credit card from itunes account?

I'm not home right now, so don't have iTunes here. I am basing this on having to do this a few days ago, as well as pictures from Google Images, so things may have different names now...
Store (dropdown at top of iTunes screen)>View my account>Edit Payment Information>In the list of types of credit cards, the one at the far right says "None." Click that.

That is to verify your card and that it works. The charge will be reversed and will not appear on your bill. If it does, contact iTunes support in your country.

If you can't find anything for exactly that amount then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will remove the balance for you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

  • Remove Credit card from iTunes account

I'm trying to remove my credit card information for my itunes account.  I go to Account Settings - Payment Information - Edit
I see the credit card types but I do not see the "None" radio button that I've been reading about in discussions and forums.
Can someone please help me ?
Could this be an OS X 10.7.2  issue ?
    Thank you ,

If you only want the free apps, take a look here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is  critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)
    Regards.

  • One credit cards, multiple ITunes accounts

Can I have multiple ITunes accounts with different email addresses and use one single credit card when purchasing items from each of the accounts?

Actually, you can't have more than 3 accounts tied to the same credit card in iTunes. And Apple support (online, chat, email, phone, store) is no help in figuring out what is going on. When you try to setup the 3rd account with the same credit card, iTunes says "Contact iTunes Support to complete this transaction" but does not provide any contact info. I've been trying to set up the 3rd of 9 accounts I need to setup for our corporate iPads for 2 days now.  Support did some digging and after an hour on the phone, told me I could "have each user just set up their own iTunes account with their own credit card".
This is so remeniscent of steps another computer company stumbled over when they started to sell to Corporate America. Apple does not get the corporation. Product looks good but there is a lot of unfinished business when it comes to administering multiple devices. Support is friendly but not very able to solve the problem.

    Yes, it is supposed to.
One you click on Store, you click on your account name at top right (as Roger noted) of the window with all the music and other products.

  • How to remove credit card from iTunes account

I have been trying to download FREE apps and recently it says its not valid and to change it. I don't have a real card or money to spend for an iTunes card. I have looked all over the web and nothing useful. I don't have a computer nor have one to use. I would think after paying money for a product and service it would work properly, even more so for how much these are worked on.
