CREDIT CARD INFO. TROUBLES. Any help/advice, welcome.
I'm trying to change my account's credit card information, but iTunes isn't letting me! I can log into my account fine, but when I click the edit button to change payment information, nothing happens. Similarly the iTunes Store itself isn't loading. I've just recently upgraded my iTunes, so that definitely isn't the problem. Help?? I currently have a friend's credit card number under my account and I need to change it to mine before I make any purchases. Thanks xx

You're not alone, mine did the exact same on friday, i contacted iTunes Store support and they told me to verify my account details on http://myinfo.apple.com.
This didnt help me as that page gave me errors when i tried to update my info.
Suddenly all worked again sunday, i dont know if they did anything or they had problems, but now it works again.

Perhaps the reason that your username and password are not recognised is because you have caps lock on.

i cannot download free apps via the App Store...i get an error message that asks me to enter my credit card information... i wish not to enter my credit card info until i want to purchase something, and to download free apps, i do not believe i should need to enter credit card info.

iTunes is not letting me download certain songs from my phone or my computer. Keeps saying "Could not purchase "name of song." An unknown error occured (5002). It let me buy 1 song, afterwards it didn't let me buy any. I checked my credit card info, and my password is correct. and it's still not working. Help Please!

Comcast sometimes responds to questions here in the forums, and sometimes they do not. When they do the typical response time is somewhere between a few hours and a few days. -
I haven't been able to update my credit card info from the one Apple has to the one at the bank with is the one linked to my card. And I have had a nightmare just getting someone to help me. I can't update an app that I actually really need to use. I am losing money everyday this is not resolved
No this was absolutely of no help what so ever!!!!1I have had this issue before and it was also a nightmare. I don't understand why you have to go thru so much pain until you can talk to a real person. I don't have 48 hours. I use this app to make money. I can't update it, so I can't use it, all because I can't update my info, which is clearly on the Apple side. Not my bank (like they first want to say), not me, I know who I am, but it must be something on apple's side. And to wait 48 hours for an email response to tragic . I can't believe a company with as much assets as Apple can't get a real person to help me sort this out. I had this same problem years ago, and it was the same mess. Whay do I keep doing this? Am I just one of the bovine masses who just have to have an iPhone? Yikes

I am trying to set up my new Iphone 4 and download apps. I made an Apple Id which is all good. But when I try and enter in my credit card info it keeps asking for my Zip code and state. I live in Canada not US. I changed the phone to Canadian but it still keeps asking for it and won't let me put in my right information which in turn won't let me download any apps. Can anyone help?
Postal & Zip codes are same. Just enter postal code without space. It will accept.

I am trying to download and install OSX Mavericks but everytime i input my Apple ID it keeps asking to review my account and then starts looking for credit card info, I do not have a credit card, also I thought OSX Mavericks was free, some help please.

Help! I can't delete the credit card info from my IOS 7 Iphone 4! It doesn't say "none" anywhere! I also don't have a computer so I can't delete it from that and I don't have the money to buy a gift card. Help please!
the removal of a credit card of your itunes account is a simple matter of clicking on the 'none' option once you are inside your account settings of your itunes account.
However, if there is an outstanding issue with you itunes account such as an outstanding balance the credit card then will NOT be removed from your account untill all issues have been resolved.
If you ware unsure of what the issues may be you can then call 800MYAPPLE and ask to speak to an advisor that can help you with itunes account issues. Most any of the advisors answering the phone should be able to assist you.

My sister bought a 16GB iPod touch 5 and went thru all the steps to set up but then realized it didn't have a camera. So we clicked reset and erase all contents and settings. This does mean her credit card info is erased right?? Thanks for your help.
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
When you erase an iPod touch, your information, apps and settings are deleted and iOS is back to factory settings. If she wanted an iPod touch with camera, she should return it after erasing it. Note that the iPod touch doesn't store her credit card information -
I am trying to add a game to my sons I touch pad. It is a free game. It asks for verification of password and credit card info. Every time, it tells me that my time has expired. Help.
It asked me that too.Don't worry and just put it in. Itunes doesn't charge unless your son buys something. The password happens to me all the time. Credit card was only once. Just make sure your son knows not to buy anything without permission so he doesn't accidently charge you something.
