  • Apple id without credit card none option not available

    Hi,
I was trying to figure out a way to create a apple id without a credit card. So Google and all of them suggest that if you select an free app to install and login with your new id you will see "None" payment option but that didn't work.
But i want to share with all what work for me.
    1. Open your itunes make sure you logout
    2. Select the App Store and in Quick Links select "Redeem" as below image. Now login with your new Apple ID and you will see "None" Payment option.
    Thanks
    Nitin B.

If you follow, exactly, the instructions on to this page when creating a new account then you will get the 'none' option : Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store account without a credit card

  • ITunes Store: "Right now the credit card processing is not available. Please try again later . "

Hi, I live in Bogota, Colombia. I have a first generation iPad and decided to enter my credit card to my iTunes Store account but I put the data correctly and when I accept I said "Right now the credit card processing is not available. Please try again later . " I tried several days but always says the same thing, try creating a new account at the iTunes Store but do not, someone could help me with my problem. THANK YOU

I was having this exact issue when I was set up to use PayPal as my payment method. I fixed it by -
    1. going to my iTunes account and selecting None as my method of payment, then clicking Done
    2. confirming this on my account page - which then said Add (or Set up, I can't remember) a Credit Card
    3. on the Add a credit card page, I again set up the exact same PayPal account I had before.
    4. I was then taken to the PayPal website to confirm that I wanted to use my PayPal account for iTunes purchases, and finally
    5. I was taken back to my account page in iTunes, which looked exactly the same as before BUT...
The next time I tried it, my purchase went straight through! (And this was less than 5 minutes after I'd had the "Credit Card processing is temporarily unavailable" message.)
YMMV, but I guess a similar revalidation process would work for credit cards too.

  • Is mandatory to have a credit card to my account? and if I do not have a credit card I can not make a Itunes Account?

    Hi people!
is mandatory to have a credit card to my account? and if I do not have a credit card I can not make a Itunes Account?

    Hi,
In addition to Roger's post, you will need a credit or debit card at a future date if you want to buy from Istore.
You can use itunes gift cards that have been purchased from external sources. Card needed if to want to buy gift card from Istore.

  • "none" option not available = aggravated customer

i recently put my Visa Gift Card to use on itunes, but i used it all up. So i went ahead and bought an Itunes Gift Card, thinking i could buy more music, apps, etc.. so i tried to purchase a song , but it wouldnt let me because my "credit card" information is not correct. Now i understand that i cannot change it back to "none" and that aggravates me. Does Apple not realize that they're going to lose alot of costumers because they did the same thing i did, but they wont be able to buy music anymore unless they create a new account. And i refuse to create a new account because i have $25.00 worth of credit from my itunes giftcard that i CANNOT USE. And i dont want to put in my actual credit card because everytime i purchase something, it will take it out of my credit card, not from the $25.00 i have from the itunes card. I dont know why Apple decided to remove the "none" selection for existing users. i think its absurd. And this adds to my "list of issues" with Apple. I am highly considering switching back to Android because i never had any problems like this. I know i sound like a stuck up nag, im sorry, but i am just frustrated. It feels like Apple wants to trick us into using our credit cards so that later, we wont have an option to cancel it, so they could get more money out of us. All i want, is to be able to use my $25.00 credit, otherwise, i just spent money for nothing, and my itunes credit will just sit there forever.
Sorry for being so dramatic, im just really mad.

There is a specific reason why 'none' is not available here. Check with

  • "None" option not available.

I am trying to setup my account withou attaching a credit card. I've been told to select the "None" option, but I am not getting that option to choose. I am only able to select from the different credit cards or PayPal. WHat can I do? Thanks.

Are you trying to create an account in the iTunes Store, or in the App Store? If you're going to the main iTunes Store, you may not be able to select "none" as an option since the iTunes Store is required to verify your country of residence which takes some sort of payment method; a credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, or PayPal account. Once you set up an account with a credit card, you can usually then go in a remove the card information (the option for "none" probably will then appear) if you don't want your card information sitting in the iTunes Store.
If you only want the free iPhone apps, take a look here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is apparently critical. This seems to come and go, or only apply to App Stores in specific countries, so you may not see the option for "None" when asked for a payment type.
Note that this only applies to the App Store; you will not be able to get any of the free content in the iTunes Store without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)
    Regards.

  • Creat an account without a credit card, None option. Help

Ok so here was my problem.... Id go into theapp store and try to dl a free app. It would ask me to log in and i would. Then it would say "this account has not been used in the app store be4 and you need to review. So from ther on you end up at a page asking for credit card or gift card info. On my iPad it only has credit cards and gift cards. On my computer iTunes it has credit cards, gift cards and paypal as options. So I was told to go here
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
In that forum it asks you to sing out of your account and creat a new one and then you will be able to see a option for NONE as payment. BUT WHO WANTS TO DO THAT! you loose all your information if yo make a new account. So here is the answer below.
    1. go to - -             http://support.apple.com/kb/HE40?viewlocale=en_US             and look back here for step 4
    2. follow the steps there BUT AT STEP 4 just change your email slightly ex.([email protected] - change it to [email protected])
    3. Then click save changes. Now signout of appleID.
    4. NOW you can go here   ----- http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534      and follow the directions for ither computer or mobile device. (I did iTunes on computer so                                                                                                                                                                                                        I'd say do it that way.)
This way you wont have to worry about loosing all your data and having to creat a new account.
Hope this helps you guys out. It sure did for me.
tell me if this needs any fixes ppl and i'll change it for you.
    Thanks

Thanks, but that's not a valid piece of advice, at least in my case and as much as have tried to I understand it.
An email (submitted while registering) = Apple ID
You can actually submit the same email twice (still it changes nothing even if one confirms an account from a number of Alternate Email Addresses):
    1) as Apple ID and Primary Email Address
    2) as Alternate Email Addresses
... but you CANNOT separate Apple ID from Primary Email Address in my version of user panel.
I suppose we have different versions of user panel. Any other ideas?

  • Credit Card Processing is Not Available.  Try Again Later??????????

Had to switch my iPhone to my MacbookPro and needed to update billing info. Simple, right?
I have had this error message for 2 days and can not update or buy anything in the App store.
Called Apple support and they created an iTunes ticket for me and have not heard back in a day.
Am I alone with this issue, or is it broader and just not getting discussed?

  • Credit card - None option

    Hi
Again it appears that apple has turned on the Credit card required for all new accounts
Rolling these devices out in a business ( 100+ ) makes it impossible to have the setup ready for staff
And new staff end up having to provide credit card details for free apps ! ?

No they haven't, if you follow the instructions on this page when creating a new account then you will get the 'none' option on the payment details screen : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
If you don't use those instructions then you will need to entercard details before the account can be used to download any item from the store.

  • Wireless sync option not available on Itunes 10.5.  After updating my iphone to IOS 5, the "sync over wifi" option is not being displayed in itunes.

hi, I managed to update both Itunes and my ios to the latest versions (10.5 and 5 respectively).  I'm unable to see the "Sync over wifi" option in itunes.  Can anyone help?

Maybe that's why I got lucky?  I have 10.7.2.  I have to tell you howeer that I did not check any check box in settings on the Notebook to enable Wifi sync, or in iTunes on the notebook.  I did have options when setting up the iPad and I selected sync with computer rather than back up to cloud.   Maybe that is another difference?  I feel feel fortunate that as I type this my iPad is syncing over wifi and you're all having trouble.
Just to confirm I have iTunes 10.5  MacOSX 10.7.2 and iOS5 installed on the iPad.  I'm going to dive in and do the phone now too.  I will report any troubles, or pay more careful attention when the iCloud settings and set up come on the screen.  Maybe I did something else I don't remember.

  • To remove credit card details when none option not there

to remove credit card details when none option not there

If "none" is not an option, your latest order is unpaid at the moment (due to payment issues). You can check your purchase history to find out, if it's so. Please follow:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2727?viewlocale=en_US
If the latest order is unpaid, you have to choose another valid payment method like another credit card or you can redeem an iTunes Gift Card (if supported in your country). After the order is paid, you can choose "none".
