Credit card numbers denied by my processor offline

We have collected a series of credit card numbers for offline payments and now the credit card processor is has denied all of them. Is there a know issue for why this is?

Some processors required the CCV (3 digit number on back or 4 number on front of AMEX cards) and if you do not have this number the card will be denied. Unfortunately because of PCI requirements the CCV number is not send with the offline payment PDF. I had to have that number for one client and I stored the CCV number is a custom field to process the payment later.

when I am asked for my credit card number on websites where I pay my bills, usually one or two numbers previously entered appears when the first number is entered. Some of those numbers are inactive. Is there a way to remove one or more numbers? I understand it is a browser problem.

Clearing Credit Card numbers from table FPLTC

Hi Guys,
Due to audit reasons we intend clearing all the Payment Card numbers for all the SD documents from the Payment Cards tab (VA03) from the doc header.
1. Are there any side effects of it if delete the table 'FPLTC' completely where all the Credit Card numbers are stored corresponding to the doc.
2. Where can i find the link between the SD doc #'s corresponding Billing Plan and the credit card numbers. Credit Card #s are corresponding to billing plan and we are having hard time finding the linking tables.

The link between the order and the card number information in table FPLTC is through a field called the Payment Card Billing Plan Number. In table VBAK it is field RPLNR. In tables FPLA, FPLT and FPLTC it is field FPLNR.
I would recommend that you not delete the FPLTC records, instead I would recommend that you consider simply updating hte FPLTC-CCNUM field with either a dummy value (EX: "DELETED") or a masked value (EX: Change 4444333322221111 to ************1111).
You can do this by writing a small ABAP program that will read the records in FPLTC (I'd recommend using function module BILLING_SCHEDULE_READ and then changing the CCNUM values and then updating the information with function module BILLING_SCHEDULE_SAVE. Make sure to send field UPDKZ in XFPLT to 'U' to perform an update.
Alternatively you could do a direct read from FPLTC, change CCNUM and do a direct UPDATE FPLTC command.
Be aware that SAP discourages any direct table updates.
The downside to all of this, of course, is that you'll never be able to find the card number again should you need it. For that reason, I'd recommend that you only do this for records that are older than 6 months. A customer has up to 6 months to dispute a credit card charge and you'll want to keep the card number for at least that period of time so you can locate the record.
I'd also recommend you consider an alternate approach of encrypting the card numbers - either with SAP's encryption or a TOKENIZATION solution offered by a third-party.

How to load the encrypted PGP file which contains credit card numbers into sap. we are dealing only with Travel mgmt.
requirement : Read Encrypted file in PGP format..Decrypt it and load ...finally when we view it shoud show only last 8 digits..
I have a rek which to load credit card numbers from file to HR employee data..but the data is coming in PGP encrypted format...
after loading the data only last 8 digits should display..
Please let me know what is the procedure to load ..does SAP has any standard functionality?

Can i use the Encrypted data directly from the external file in PGP format and load into SAP? Coz decrypt step is not really necessary for loading for us...all we need is to load the cc numbers into SAP in HR profile (PA30)...

Deleting old credit card numbers

For obvious security reasons, we would like to simply erased credit cards Number in the SAP and CRM databases after one year, even if the documents that reference them were not archived (Sales Orders for example).
Does SAP have a "standard" solution for that? Wil using brute force and simply erasing the contents of the CCNUM fields in various tables work? Anybody did something like that in their system?

I am not sure if you have found any standard solution for this problem. We have faced a similar issue in a recent internal audit. What we came up was a simple solution that may not be the most elegant but works just fine without compromising the integrity of the SAP system. You can replace all the real credit cards with dummy credit card numbers. Depending on the middleware product you are using, a small routine in ABAP needs to be written, which will decrypt the original cards, replace them with dummy cards that pass the Luhn check and re-encrypt them back. This retains the integrity of the SAP system and if you were to display the Sales order, it does not cause dumps. Credit card transaction denied

I order two iphones on the 12th. One was a white 6+ 128gb and the other gold 6 128gb. I finally after about an hour was able to get thru and order the phone about 4am est. I got my email an hour later stating delivery date of 9/19. My status on the pre-order page was saying ship date of 9/19. Nothing had changed on the pre-order status page since the 12th. I received a phone call from my credit card company yesterday and they didn't allow the verizon transaction to process because of the large amount. This happened to me a couple years ago with the iphone 5 purchase. I called the credit card companyon the 12th and told them about my purchase and to ok it, but obiviously that didn't happen. I was ******(my credit limit is like $25,000). My credit card company said that I had to get Verizon to reprocess the transaction. After talking to at least 3 Reps, I was finally able to get the transaction processed. Now my order status is now saying "We have received your order and it is in process. Payment has not been taken". My estimate ship date now says "Not available at this time". I checked my Credit card transaction and I see the phones are now in pending status(which is normal). I remember all the same stuff happening a couple years ago. I had all the same problems but I still received my phone on the first day. I am hoping this will happen again. Just wanted to let everyone know that you may want to check your credit card to see if a transaction has come thru or call them to make sure they didn't deny the transaction. I think once they charge your account then they are shipping the phone. I check the status page about every hour. From the other post I'm reading, I bet the service reps are just trying to say anything right now to stop people from being so ****** off.

The same thing happened to me with my credit card. I found out because the bank's fraud dept called me twice. We got it all straightened out and a helpful Verizon rep processed the payment, while I was on the phone with her and the bank at the same time. It took a couple of hours but the order showed up in my order history and in the documents area of my verizon. The status did not change until this morning after I received a tracking number.

Credit Card Transaction Denied in Ovi Store

I am from India, and wanted to purchase apps from Ovi Store for my Nokia N8-00.
I added two Credit Cards to my Nokia account and then went to my mobile Ovi Store to purchase Total Recall. After all the procedures of purchasing... the final page showed "Transaction denied" !!
I tried and tried again with both my credit cards ... but in vain ... !!
I can't understand why even the VISA CREDIT CARDS have been denied at Ovi Store ?? Whereas, i use it for almost everything ...!!

How can two people use both of their shared credit cards on each of their two iPhones if the credit card numbers are the same but the names are different? The iPhone won't accept the second card because it says that it's already been loaded.

Only one credit card can be on an iTunes account at any one time - presumably if they are shared credit cards with the same card number then it's the same credit card account with the one bill, so from a billing/payment point of view does it make any difference which card is on the account(s) ?

How to format a text field for credit card numbers?

OK, I found this conversation, http://forums.adobe.com/message/3598185, that gave some useful insight, and I adapted the code presented in it to make sure the user types in a 16-digit number, and it tells them to do it right if they don't.
Here's my problem:
With the code as given, I can either get a single string of 16 digits (i.e.: 1234567890123456), or, I have to make the user manually type in the spaces to get the usual CC format (1234 5678 9012 3456).
What I'm hoping for is some code that will let me allow the user to simply type in 16 uniterrupted digits, but that will then display that entry in the expected format. (So, user types 1234567890123456, but the field once they tab or click out of it will show 1234 5678 9012 3456)
Here's the code I have thus far (like I said, copied alomst verbatim from the link above):

Acrobat uses JavaScript and not the Java programing language.
Many script samples are for different variations of JavaScript and Adobe has its own variation.
Also if you make spaces or other white space characters part of the value, you need to remove them from the validation.

Trying to update my apps but saying my credit card was denied. Updating free apps so why is it trying to charge my credit card?

I recently got notification that I have 4 app updates but when I try to update it says to verify my credit card information which I do but says it comes back as declined. Why would it try to pull funds for free app updates?

If you're positive the information is correct, ask the issuing bank why the transaction is being rejected.

Sorry, but there's no way to force the iTunes Store to use your credit card. If there's a credit balance available, purchases will be deducted from that first.
