Credit card purchasing/ error 502

for the past week when i try to buy a video in the itunes music store it either comes up with the message credit card purchasing is temporarilly unavailable or error 502 your request cannot be processed can anyone tell me how to fix this

As of today I'm still getting the "temporarily unavailable" response, even though tech support said the credit payment problem was resolved. I find it particularly perplexing when merchants refuse to take my money. Oh well, good thing I live in a capitalist society, plenty of alternatives to choose from

I was having this exact issue when I was set up to use PayPal as my payment method. I fixed it by -
1. going to my iTunes account and selecting None as my method of payment, then clicking Done
2. confirming this on my account page - which then said Add (or Set up, I can't remember) a Credit Card
3. on the Add a credit card page, I again set up the exact same PayPal account I had before.
4. I was then taken to the PayPal website to confirm that I wanted to use my PayPal account for iTunes purchases, and finally
5. I was taken back to my account page in iTunes, which looked exactly the same as before BUT...
The next time I tried it, my purchase went straight through! (And this was less than 5 minutes after I'd had the "Credit Card processing is temporarily unavailable" message.)
YMMV, but I guess a similar revalidation process would work for credit cards too.

I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to purchase some music since Friday, but have been unable to do so. I keep getting a message about the iTunes store not being able to process credit card purchases at this time. What is going on? Is anyone else having this problem or am I the only one? I know my credit card works, so it can't be that. SOME ONE HELP!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!

Well, I guess I have a similar problem. I downloaded about 21 tunes today, and only two of them got paid for with my Pay Pal account. The others are just sitting there, saying they're being paid for by a credit card. WHICH credit card? I don't remember authorizing iTunes to use any of my credit cards. I have $15 credit from a redeemed gift card, so why can't I use that to pay?
I do have a "backup" credit card on my Pay Pal account, but it's been deactivated because an ATM ate the card two weeks ago.
Any help?

Reconciling Credit Card Purchases in iProcurement

How does an individual reconcile credit card purchases made in iProcurement with the Bank's Credit Card statement (is there some product function in iProcurement or another module in oracle that captures the purchases made by an individual with his/her credit card in iProcurement that can be compared to what the Bank states you purchased via the monthly credit card statement)?
Any help on answering this question would be most appreciated.

You need to contact that bank and ask them to update their extension for current Firefox 5 and possibly Firefox 6, due to be released later this month.
What is the latest version that the extension supports?
If it works with Firefox 4 then you can try if it works if you override the compatibility check.<br />
Don't do that if the extension only supports Firefox 3.x versions.

Credit card purchasing unavailable.

For several days every time I try to buy a song or movie I get a window that says credit card purchasing is temprorarily unavailable. Try to make your purchase later. iTunes store is unable to process purchases at this time.
What is happening? Is anyone else experiencing this problem? It has been about four days now.

Appworld reversing credit card purchases

Every time I try to buy from Appworld I get an error "There is a problem with your credit card authorization. Please try again or visit blackberry.com/appworld/support for more information. (Error Id: 10000)."
This happens whether I'm buying through my phone or Playbook. I tried a different card - same issue. The Playbook support rep said I should enter my credit card info on my desktop rather that my Playbook - didn't help. They suggested the issue was the address I entered was different than that on my statement so I changed in (I'm in Canada and I'd left the space out of the middle of the postal code) - didn't help. They suggested I set up a PayPal account - I refused. Appworld is supposed to accept credit cards and I want it to work as promised. I called my credit card company as per the KB article to verify there was no problem with my card and there isn't. It turns out they've been approving transactions and Appworld has been reversing them! But not always - of my multiple attempts today to buy Dead Space as a test, two transactions haven't been reversed even though I haven't been able to download the app once. So I've tried to buy it multiple times, been allowed to pay for it twice, and not been allowed to download it at all.
1) Does anyone know of a fix?
2) If anyone reading this works for RIM, please kick this up the line as far and fast as you can.
This has been a known problem for 1 1/2 months and still no fix in sight. Very bad move - discounting Playbooks so they get sold in larger volumes, then allowing a problem to remain in plce that prevents new users from buying any apps for them. You think a new user will try the Playbook again after that??? How to multiply the iPad's app advantage. No wonder people return newly purchased Playbooks if they can't even buy any apps for them - and this is what I heard from the Best Buy reps when I tried to find a Playbook. Lots of sales, but tons of returns as well.
Pardon my frustration, but I've been fighting hard to champion RIM within our firm against iPhone/iPad supporters, and this makes it so very very difficult.

I suspect that I know what's going on here. Here's what I suspect happened and how it finally worked today.
1. A few weeks ago I purchased some songs.
2. My card which worked in the past, rejected all of the sudden. Don't know why, since I had $$ on it. It was a debit card too. The card's been getting more finicky security-wise. I've had other online purchases fail when the card was perfectly OK.
3. Anyway, I realized that I actually downloaded the song that it hiccupped on. I couldn't tell this until today. A cursory look at my account didn't reveal the issue. Itunes still wanted payment for a song I already downloaded.
4. Apple kept giving me that uninformative dialog box since it was in this funky state. No more purchases would work. Simply changing the credit card # wasn't sufficient to resolve the outstanding issue.
5. I logged in today, attempting to make a purchase. This time iTunes was more informative and told me to resolve the issue from 2 weeks ago on my acct.
6. Purchases now work.

We are trying to record purchases by credit card but we want to post the purchase with a debit to the expense account and credit a "Credit Card Clearing Account". We would like to do it this way to keep track of purchases with multiple vendors. Our issue is trying to match the credit card invoice to the transactions in the clearing account.
Can anyone help?
For example: I've purchased a computer from vendor PC Mall.
I created a A/P invoice for $600 but it does not allow me to change the control account from A/P to Credit Card Clearing. So it goes to the A/P Control Account.
Then I receive my credit card invoice and I created a Outgoing Payment payable to the credit card company. I can't link it to the A/P Invoice so I charge it to the credit card clearing out.
How can I offset one to the other?

Credit Card authorization error while creating an online sales order in ISA

Hi All,
I did the basic configuration for the webshop for B2C functionality in ISA R/3. When I choose a product from the product catalog, add it to a shopping cart, choose credit card option, enter a valid credit card and expiration date and confirm the order I get the error 'Unsuccessful credit card authorization'. But I can create an order successfully using VA01 transaction in R/3 with the same header and item level data and the credit card data. What can be the reason behind this error and how to fix it? Please let me know.

ID required for credit card purchase in store

I visited Best Buy store number 1421 on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at approximately 3:30 PM. I selected my desired item and went to the checkout area. I gave him my phone number to look up my rewards information and verified the info. I then presented a signed MasterCard credit card for payment (which had the same name as the info now showing on his screen), whereupon the clerk asked for my ID. I declined. He then stated that he could not process the transaction without seeing my ID. I again declined, and stated that I would not be completing the transaction. At this point, he went to check with someone else (presumably a manager) and returned with the same story. I left without purchasing my item.
Please inform your managers and employees of proper practices when dealing with credit card transactions.
I have notified MasterCard of this non-compliance concerning the merchant agreement and will be unable to shop with Best Buy if this practice continues.

using test credit card numbers. We have implemented veri sign paymentech
as back end processing servlet.
question is vpsipayment.properties file has parameter that sets host name
for real time and test time processing. After setting
hostname=test-payflow.verisign.com it's still pointing to real time auth.

There is no Credit Hold check box enabled in the Customer window, We are getting same error in order management too.
Scenario 1:
When we set the profiles like below iStore,OM,AR order getting confirmed with Hold and tangibleId is starting with as shown below
TangibleId:
iStore = ASO%.
Order Management = ONT%.
AR Manual orders = AR%
Profiles:
ASO: Credit Card Authorization = No
IBE: Perform Payment authorization = Yes
ASO: Default Order State profile = Booked
Scenario 2:
When we set the profiles like below iStore,OM,AR order getting confirmed without any Hold and all the tangibleId is starting with ONT%
ASO: Credit Card Authorization = Yes
IBE: Perform Payment authorization = No
ASO: Default Order State profile = Booked
Our Expectation:
1. Order should be confirmed with out any Hold.
2. Tangible id should as below
a. iStore = ASO%.
b. Order Management = ONT%.
c. AR Manual orders = AR%

HT2731 Trying to submit credit card receive error or get kicked of or sometimes just locks up in iTunes first times logging in

I'm trying to log in to iTunes for the first time set up apple I'd and confirmed when I try to log in to iTunes it says first time this I'd has been used so I follow the prompts through and when I get to credit card it either locks up at end or kicks me off , sometimes I don't make it that far. I've tried several times

I hadn't had my new MBP two days and it began locking up on me in this exact same way. I'm a "switcher" and this is my first experience with an Apple computer and it is really ******* me off. I had no problems with iTunes on my Dell laptop. For whatever reason my new MBP didn't recognize the cover art I imported with all my music files. I would be attempting to "get cover art" and then my MBP locks up.
Is this an issue I can bring up at the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store? Can I get a new MBP because obviously this one is defective? I so badly wanted to like my first MBP but this is not helping the situation. Any feedback would be very much appreciated. What recourse can I take with Apple? I purchased the ProCare. Does that get me extra help with Apple?

I have 2 purchases on my debit card for itunes purchases I did not make. How do I find out who is using my credit card?

i looked at that link, but im not sure i understand it. do i use itunes on my computer (windows vista?) or on my ipod touch?. and if i use itunes (i have itunes 8) it has no option for "no payment".
i just looked on my ipod touch 2g (in itunes, and app store) and there is no option to create an acct.
