  • Business credit cards question

I have a business credit card for my own company. When I applied for it, the inquiry showed up on my personal credit report, but the account for this card and its balance does not show up on my credit report. I currently have personal credit cards with balances. Would it make sense to transfer those balances to my business credit card (or open a second business credit card for that purpose)? That way, the debt won't be on my personal credit report, and my FICO scores will go up. (That is the ultimate goal, so I can qualify for an auto loan). Thanks in advance for the help!

Thanks! How do I know which companies report business cards to personal credit reports, and which don't?The companies that don't report business cards to personal reports are, 1) Chase 2) Amex 3) US Bank 4) Citibank 5) BOA 6) Barclays 7) BJs Business Mastercard and so on. CAP 1 business cards report to personal reports so be weary of them although they are good cards to have...

  • How do you reset the security questions when you havent used a credit card to make any purchases, only the gift cards. Apple support will not help me even though i know my account and apple id and password?

Have a new computer and now cannot access itunes without knowing the answers to the security questions. Apple support cannot reset as we have never used a credit card when purchasing prior, have only used gift cards. Can provide apple id and password and all other account details but still no help. Have we to open a new3 account and start again, this means losing a lot of credit on the existing account?!

I have the same problem. I didn't set a rescue email for some reason. To find out weather you hav a rescue password: Go to appleid.apple.com, sign in, go to manage account and then password and security if you do there will be a link below telling you that you can send an email to it. If not the link won't be there. Hope this helps.

If you can't get the answers emailed to you, phone Apple from a number listed in article HE57 and ask for the Account Security team.

If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

I  recently put money on my itunes account but the problem is when i went to purchase music the credit card information needed to be deleted and i forgot the answers to my security questions what do i do? I was told by a friend of mine that all i had to do was call apple support and i would be able to re start the secruity answers.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.

  • Account question.? Its asking for credit card

I made a account over 3 years ago, when I had a touch. Im still using it with my iPod, but now got a iPad. When I go to connect or setup my account to my iPad it tells me it hasn't been registered or something like that. So I click revise and it asks me for a credit card and my adress. Why is it that it's just now asking for this. Is there a way to avoid adding a credit card. Is it because it's an iPad, because it docent ask this on the touch.

This forum is for questions from those managing sites on iTunes U, Apple's service for colleges and universities to post educational material in the iTunes Store. You'll be most likely to get help with this issue if you ask in the general iTunes forums.
    Regards.

  • HT5035 I changed me password because I forgot my security questions, before I changed it I had $10 from a iTunes card, will it still be here. Keep in mind they re-asked me for my credit card info.

So I just today got an iTunes gift card for 10 dollars, I entered it in and tried to buy a song, it asked my to answers security question but I forgot what my answer was. So I changed my Apple ID Password. After that I signed in and it asked me to put my credit card info in again. Will my 10 dollars still be there?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

  • Since the Adobe "Chat" system is not very responsive they suggest I ask the community my question. Did they jump you monthly fee $10 without explanation? Check your credit card.

    Perhaps they will answer now?

I remember when Adobe Customer Support existed.  Weren't those the good ole days.  Now they've pawned us off on one another.  Apparently this is what we can expect from Adobe from this point forward.

  • HT201363 my husband received an email from Apple stating we needed new credit card information.  We had just gotten a new credit card and couldn't remember if we updated it or not.  What kind of questions would you ask for that? It may have been fraud?

My husband received an email from Apple stating our account was frozen and we needed to update our credit information.  We recently got a new credit card and so went ahead and updated information.  They asked about mothers maiden name and social security information.  Now we are feeling skeptical.  Are these the kinds of questions Apple would ask?  Now all my information is out there and I can't even get a hold of a human being at support to answer any questions for me as to whether they sent this or not????? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That email was a phishing attempt to get your iTunes account and payment details - iTunes accounts aren't 'frozen', and iTunes don't need your social security info.
If your husband entered his card details then he should contact the card issuer immediately and get it cancelled and replaced.
He should also change the password on his iTunes account e.g. via the Store > View Account menu option on his computer's iTunes or via http://appleid.apple.com
If you still have the email then you could forward it to Apple : [email protected]

For some reason, I have had misgivings about partioning my internal HD.. not sure why.. sort of feels like I'm creating my own computer sybil ;-)  Truthfully, it seems weird to split it.. I don't think I can articulate it really.. but are there complications that can come with doing this?
It's a common way to run multiple OSs, if there's room.  I've had two on my internal HD for a couple of years.  Plus a small partition for a copy of my Snow Leopard Install disc.  Just be sure to leave at least 10% to 15% free on each partition.
Running Lion on a partition of the disk that also contains your backups is not a good idea; if that drive fails, you risk losing both copies of your stuff!
OSX will also run somewhat more slowly, because access to an external is slower.  That probably won't be very significant, though.
Also, would the decision be effected by how long I want to maintain the SL section?  I am assuming once I sort out what to replace Quicken with, I won't want to keep the SL section.  So would it be easy enough to 'clear out the SL data, and open the partition?
Review #3 in Formatting, Partitioning, Verifying, and Repairing Disks.
All things considered, your best bet may be to  "clone" your SL partition to the second one, then (once you're sure everything is cool), erase the original (top) SL partition.  You can use the Restore tab of Disk Utility for that (#7 in the same link), or a "cloning" app such as CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper.  Then install Lion on the top partition.
When you're done with SL, just delete it's partition and expand the Lion partition down into the vacated space.
