Credit Limit should be consumed in consignment fill up

Hi
We a consignment sale scenario. We send some goods to our consignment agent. These agents are created as customers in SAP.
When i do consignment fill up (i.e. when i send goods from my stores to consignment agent), there is no FI accounting entry posted in SAP.
My client requires that, my credit limit should get used at the time of consignment fill up itself.
As far as i have worked on credit management, credit limit is used when customer A/c, is debited. But in above scenario, there is no debit to consignment agent account.
Please suggest how to handle this scenario.

Hi Meenu,
Credit limit for consignment fill up is not standard requirement, because the owner ship of the material is still with you.Credit limit
can be triggered at consignment issue, where the owner ship of the material is changing.
System didn't consider at fill up due to the special stock indicator at VOV7 for item category.

  • Sales Order and Invoice qtty both consuming credit limit

We are facing a problem where the credit limit is getting consumed by both the sales order as well as the subsequent invoice, thereby creating a double impact of one transaction. I ideally what should happen is that after invoicing the "Sales Value" field should get reduced and the "credit exposure" should get increased. However, in our system this is not happening. The net impact is explained by this example:
    Sales Order Value : 20000
    Invoicing: 0
    Credit Exposure 20000
    Sales Order Value 20000
    Invoicing : 20000
Credit Exposire : 40000 - This is wrong. This sohuld be 20000
    Please to help.

    Dear Intrigue,
What do u mean by invoicing value? Are you talking about 'Recievables'?
In FD 32 credit exposure is the total of Recievables + Special liab + Sales value.
1)After the creating the sale order the value 20000 will be updated under sales value. (Table S066)
2)After creating delivery document the same 20000 will remains there only under sales value. (But internally table will be changed. This 20000 will get reduced from the table S066 and will update in S067 under 'open delivery' field)
    3) After creating invoice also the 20000 will remain there only under sales value. (But internally this 20000 will get reduced from 'open delivery field' and will update under 'open billing doc.' in same table S067)
The above invoice value will remain there only until it is released to accounts. After releasing it to accounts the value 20000 will get reduced from 'sales value' and will update in 'recievables' in FD32.
Total value in recievables is the value of the FI accounting documents for which payment is to be recieved. After recieving the payment this will be cleared off.
Now tell me what are you comparing with? sales value and recievables or anything other?

  • Credit Limit based on Open Items only.

    Dear Friends,
Is it possible to set credit limit based on Open Items only ( Document Type RV)
If the credit limit is crossed for accounting documents not yet cleared, then system should allow creating sales order, but block any deliveries further.
Just to add this, we are using Oldest Open Item, to make sure system blocks deliveries if even one Billing document is overdue for payment.

    Hi,
    AT FD32,
For respective customers Credit Limit should be made 99999999....(i.e maximum)
Goto OVA8. Select the respective Credit Control area, Risk category & Customer Group.
    tick-> OpenItems
Max.Open items 100% and Nodays Open here you can maintain the grace days (after the payment term limit expires) is allowed to do the transaction for respective customer.
if grace days are '0', then as soon as payment term limit is expires system will block the transactions selected.
    Thank You,
    RB.

  • Issue of Credit Limit as per Sales

    Dear All
I have the requirement from the user the Credit Limit should be updated as per the Sales.
Suppose this month Customer Invoicing is being done for 10 lakh, then its credit limit should automatically get  updated to 20 lakh,
If invoicing is being done for 20 lakh, then credit limit in T code FD32 will be getting updated to 40 lakh.
Can you plz suggest me on this issue.
    Many Thanks
    Rakesh Naveen

    Hello,
Yes, as per experience, I think your requirement is out of standard of current SAP functions for credit management as automatic. However, you can use some functions as work around, there is a tcode OVA8. You can use credit limit seasonal factor as increase or reduce and check if this suits your requirement. However, any change to this assignment or configuration may lead to ineffective credit checking as the change may affect all customers using the same credit control area without exceptions.
see this link for your reference on credit management:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_40b/helpdata/en/34/60b199ae724effe10000009b38f91f/content.htm
Otherwise, try user exit enhancement with user 1, 2, 3 check boxes in the same tcode OVA8. Ask your ABAP on possible user exits that can be modified and the complexity of the requirement if feasible.
    Hope this helps.
    Thank you and regards,

  • Credit Limit by Product (Sales Area)

    Dear Experts,
I have to maintain credit limit by Product. Thatu2019s why am maintaining credit controls for sales areas. Because every Product has different individual sales area. Please see below detail explanation.
Our credit control area for customer: 1000 (This credit control to maintain credit limit for customer)
We have 3 sales areas i.e:
1200 AB A1 u2013 (for this sales area product is Chemical)
1200 AB A2 - (for this sales area product is Petrol)
1200 AB A3 - (for this sales area product is Diesel)
So like above products client want to maintain credit limit by Product.
Business scenario is customer 90000123 has credit limit 100 MIL USD
This customer has sales with above 3 products. So we want to maintain (divide) 100 Mil USD credit limit by product that is for Chemical credit limit 30 Mil USD and Petrol credit limit 40 Mil USD and Diesel credit limit 30 Mil USD.
So, I want to maintain credit controls by Product so I created credit controls for 3 products i.e
    1001 u2013 Cr.contro alre for 1200 AB A1 Sales area
    1002 - Cr.contro alre for 1200 AB A2 Sales area
    1003 - Cr.contro alre for 1200 AB A3 Sales area
I have assigned above credit control areas to the particular sales area and maintained credit limit for every credit control area as per above with same customer.
Like 1000 u2013CCA for customer 90000123 (Maintained 100 mil USD)
1001 u2013 CCA for 1200 AB A1 Sales area (Maintained 30 Mil USD with above customer)
1002 u2013 CCA for 1200 AB A2 Sales area (Maintained 40 Mil USD with above customer)
1003 - CCA for 1200 AB A2 Sales area (Maintained 40 Mil USD with above customer)
Whenever I create sales order with the above customer for 1200 AB A1 Sales area (Chemical Product) with 5 Mil USD after that the customer credit limit should be 95 Mil USD here the CCA is 1000 and 1001 Credit control area cr. Limit supposed to 25 mil USD) But I couldnu2019t get like this. I am suspecting this scenario is correct or not. If this scenario is correct. Pls suggest me where I did mistake what I have to do. If this scenario is wrong pls suggest me how to maintain credit limit by sales area.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vasu

    Dear Vasu,
try to Create the SO with Value above 30 ML. If System not block the Order than you have to check the Configuration.

  • Effect on SD Credit Limit when extension of Due Date for Certain Invoices

    Dear SD Members,
    Brief Description
Extension of Due Date for Certain Invoices
Due Date extension to be made for certain invoices posted in FI
    Requirement
After Billing is done and invoice is posted in FI management may decide to postpone due date for certain for any particular invoice for a specific customer.
The payment term will be changed in the invoice and due date should change. But for this no SD credit limit should be affected. The change can only be made by specific user with authorization. The bank also will be intimated with details from SAP.
What I want to know will there be any effect on SD Credit Management part, when from FI side invoices payment terms due date will be extended. Please share your view & suggestions on this.

  • Static credit check: credit limit exceeded for consignment issue delivery

    Hi,
We are encountering a credit limit exceeded error in delivery creation for a consignment issue.
In SPRO config "Credit limit check for order types", no credit limit check is assigned to the order type. However, there is one assigned for the delivery type. Also, for CCAr/Risk cat./CG combination in OVA8 (Auto Credit Block Delivery), static credit check has been activated with error message reaction. Open orders and open deliveries were also activated. Customer exceeded credit exposure but user cannot release the order in any VKMx transactions as no credit limit check is assigned to the order type.
Given that this is the current setup, and the following conditions:
    1. Credit limit for the customer cannot be increased
    2. Oldest open item cannot be cleared just yet
Is there any way that we can proceed with delivery creation for this customer? The other order types have credit limit check so credit management team was able to release them. However, we are unsure on how to proceed with this consignment order. Kindly advise and thank you in advance for your help.

We are encountering a credit limit exceeded error in delivery creation for a consignment issue.
but user cannot release the order in any VKMx transactions as no credit limit check is assigned to the order type.
Looks contradictory and it may need to run report RVKRED77 to reorganization of open credit values. Try to run the report in test system and then run in production system. After running the report, the use must be able to release in VKM* transaction.

  • Requirement list should be Populated in MD04 When FIXED QTY/DATE activation In credit limit exceeded

    Dear sd experts
I Have one Business requirement But i dont know how to achieve Please share Your ides
Generally once any document is blocked due to credit limit .. we can release in VKM3
But in my business process For some sales orders we have maintained FIXED QTY/DATE Option in sales order
    i know this functionality
so if it is activated and same time if customer crossed his credit limit system confirms 0 qnty as per sap stranded
And no requirement will be seen in MD04
So in this situation no meaning To release in VKM3
My requirement is We have to activate  FIXED QTY/DATE Option in sales order as well as if document crossed credit limit also Items should be scheduled and it should be transformed To MD04  And Authorization person will release in VKM3
How to fix this ..thanks a lot

    Hi Sreehari,
For your requirement, you need to add a requirement at the access sequence level for the access sequence related to the  KRML output type.
Code must be written based on the below logic.
If VBUK-CMGST (Header Overall credit status) is blocked and
If VBEP-BMENG (Confirmed quantity at schedule line level) is >0 then output has to be triggered. Further if order is having more then one schedule line system has to check for the last line (Tell this to Developer and make sure you test one scenario regarding this. First schedule line with zero confirmed quantity and second with full quantity).
    For the second requirement
If VBUK-CMGST (Header Overall credit status) is blocked and
if VBAP-KWMENG (Item quantity) is changed output has to be triggered again.
    Hope this explains.

  • Credit limit of customer should be maintained as per division wise.

    Hi All
Here requirement is that The credit limit of customer should be maintained as per division wise.
Means Here there are two divisons Foods and Personal care.
So One Customer will have different credit limit in each division*(Ex Foods it may be 100000 USD and Personal care it may be 20000 USD)
    It is possible
    Ahmed

    Hi Ahmed,
You could consider the following process.
1.Create two different credit control area A and B.
2.XD02->maintain customer master data for sales area of the first division and assign credit control area A on
    Billing documen tab
3.XD02->maintain customer master data for sales area of the second division and assign credit control area B on Billing documen tab
    4. FD32->maintain different credit master data for the two credit control areas.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Consignment Fill up Process(with Bebit and credit entries)

    Hi all,
I want to do following entries in consignmen Fillup  process.
    1)consignmen Fillup:-
        Goods  on sale consignee   Cr.
         Consignment Agent             Dr.
since proforma invoice is gets created in Fill up process, shall i configure cmercial invoice instead of Proforma?
    Reg,
    amol

shall i configure cmercial invoice instead of Proforma?
Before answering this question, I would like you to answer to the following
    a)  What do you mean by consignment fill-up
    b)  Under what circumstances, you can raise a commercial invoice
If you know answer to the above questions, posting this thread would not have arised.
    Anyway, my explanation goes here
Consignment fill up is nothing but you move your own stock from one place to another place.  Once you moved the stock, that stock will be earmarked for the end customer and it cannot be diverted to another customer.  Now tell me, for moving the stock from one place to another, will you generate commercial invoice ??
You can very well put these questions with your client so that you will find a solution.

  • Free Goods Sales Order  for Charities with Credit Limit

    Dear All
I have a scenario where POS (Point of Sales) has been implemented, the process of POS is ok,but the requirement of the client is they are giving some goods to charity, when ever a person comes with a special card (Issued by the company) the outlet will create a sales order for the same without any charges with a credit limit of 1000 SAR (saudi arabian riyal).
    Requirement
    1) Creation of sales order with delivering goods but without any charges.(should have effect in Stock)
2)These charities is been treated as Customer with a credit limit of SAR 1000 (whenever the credit limit exceeds system should block the order)
how this scenario can be mapped in SD,
    Thanks in advance
    Malik

    Dear Malik
keep the process regular, which will help in blocking the charity customer when reached 1000 SAr at order level itself.
As customer need to be shown that he  is not charged.
you can work on changing the display of output determination .
You can take the help of Ababer and display what ever client is asking for.
I think  this may solve your query without disturbing you regular business process.

  • Credit limit check cause the item schedule line confirmed qty empty

    Hi,
I have an SO that is under credit limit check, the problem is, after releasing it via VKM3, the confirmed qty at item schedule line is not taking the qty as of stock at the time. The SO qty is 100 Pcs, but there's still stock of 80 Pcs. I will then need to split the schedule line to 2 lines --> 1st line with order qty 80 Pcs, and 2nd line 20 Pcs. Then only the confirmed qty appear for the 80Pcs.
For usual SO that is without credit checking, the confirmed qty will immediately shown as in 1 schedule line. Does anyone know why is this happening and can we amend this problem?
    Thanks.

    Hi
If an order is subject to credit check once you save the order the confirmed quantities becomes 0 because if the settings done in t code OVB8 Number of the routine used for copying is set as 101and System FORM routine number is set as 1 (and this is the standard settings)
This is kept like this in standard so that if a material stock is say 10 units and order from customer X has come for 10 units and that order is blocked on crediit limit so that when the next order from customer Y has come for another 5 units and this customer Y has a better credit limit and this order is not blocked on Credit limit check then she should not suffer for stocks
A genuine customer should not be deprived of stocks
For you between the order registered and released thro VKM3 another order has come from another customer for 20 units and hence the 100 units has become 80 now and balance 20 is confirmed for a future date thro forward scheduling
In T code OVB8 you can do the customizations for this scenario according to the business requirement

    Hi,
    I have a scenario
    1) where, if credit limit is crossed, then on creation of order I get an credit check even when i have not entered materials in sales order.
    2) Partial Credit limit is pending (for e.g Credit limit of 100, 50 is still pending) when i create a new order with unconfirmed quantity, for amount 100, there is no credit check happening. (system should give message for extra amount 50)
Can I please get guidance on this issue.(2nd point)

  • Dynamic Credit Limit check not giving error message

    Hi!
I have configured the credit management like below:
    1. high risk, medium risk, low risk category.
    2. credit control area with update : 00000012
    3. In pricin procedure for net value, routine "A" is given.
    4. In Item Category, Credit Active tick mark is checked.
    3. Assigned D,  credit group 01(Credit Group for Sales Order)  in sales document types.
    4. assigned credit group in Delivery document types.
    5. configured automatic credit control;
for high risk, with credit group 01 , dynamic check  with reaction D , and status/block tick by considering open order and open deliveries .
My main aim is when sale order is creating, system should give error message , when credit limit is exceeded.
But system is giving following information message only:
Dynamic credit check: credit limit exceeded (data
         cannot be saved)
         250.00 USD
that is only information message and allowing to save the sael order and delivery also.
can any one give idea where config is missed.
we have activated FSCM also, but no link to credit control area.

  • Credit block should not prevent service order creation

An upgrade from 4.7 to  ECC6, without any changes made to the configuration or program change, has lead to the following issue. ECC6 is not creating a service order connected to a sales order, when the customer has exceeded the credit limit. The sales order of custom order type is getting saved with a warning message that credit limit has exceeded. However, earlier in 4.7, the message would not stop creating subsequent service order. What could be different, that prevent ECC6 environment to hold on to service order creation? A subsequent release of the credit block through VKM1 however triggers the service order being created.

Are you using credit card processing in SAP to get the authorization?
If you are then the authorization should not block the order.
Or are you using credit card as a form of payment (without authorization) in which case this needs to be put on the customers account as a payment and then the order entered.
Where are you holding the credit card details?
