    I use SAP 2007B PL15.
    I face problem in one case. Please give me solution for the same.
    I do the following steps for an FG001; SO--> Delivery > Outgoing Excise Inv.> AR Invoice --> Incoming Payment.
    Now my customer sends me the same material back i.e. FG001. For this I go to Return--> Incoming Excise Invoice and use Copy From option; but it says item is not Purchase Item and does not allow me to enter into RG Register.
    Please suggest me the way to handle this scenario. Ideally it should be Return --> Incoming Excise Invoice --> AR Credit Memo

  • Credit Memo Copy From Issue

    I have an issue with 2 specific users on the system,  Both Users are 'Professional" users with Full Authorization to all Modules on the system.
    When the two users go into Credit Memo entry,  enter a Customer then Click the  COPY FROM button,  only 2 Open Invoices are displayed in the Invoice Window for the particular customer.  There are MANY Open Invoices for the Customer.  This is NOT specific for this customer,  BUT All customers behave this way for the 2 users in question.
    ANY OTHER USERS on the system can see All open Invoices when using the Copy from feature.
    We already gave full Authorization to the users.  Turned off Authorizations, and updated and the gave the users Full authorizations and updated.  The users were NOT logged in at the time of the changes to the user's Authorizations.
    There are NO Add ons running for the users in question.
    We also copied  Authorizations from a 'Working" user to the users in question but there are no effect.\
    Is there something OTHER Than authorizations that could cause this problem? 
    Any other ideas or suggestions  would be appreciated!!

    Have you implemented Data Ownership Authorization?  NO
    What is your B1 version and PL? SAP B1 2007 SP00 PL47
    Again,  it is only effecting 2 users with Full Authorizations and Professional License.
    The Invoices displayed are owned by a different user and other invoices owned the
    the same other user are not displayed.

         When we do credit memo, wrong posting are coming i.e. vendor a/c is debit and inventory account is credited why inventory account is coming instead of gr/ir account. Stock is available. Please find the attachment of credit memo entries

  • FB10 - Default payment term for Credit memo

    Hi,
    I have question regarding the Payment terms in FB10- Credit memo entry (KG).
    You must be aware that when we use F-43 or FB60 for posting Vendor Invoices (Document type KR), the payment terms on the screen will be "*", which means it should be picked up from the Master data. Similarly for posting Vendor Credit Memos (Doc type KG) using F-41 or FB65, the payment terms field is blank, which means 'Immediate payment'.
    In case of FB10, Fast entry transaction code for both Vendor Invoice and Vendor Credit memo, the Payment terms for KR document is *. But for doc type KG (Credit memo), payment terms field is not blank. Instead, it is shown as *. Why is it? How can we make this blank for KG document postings. Please advise. Kindly revert in case you have any questions.

  • Finding personnel number for a Credit Memo

    Hi,
    We are currently trying to trace the personnel number associated with a vendor posting from HR-FI. A credit memo has gotten generated against the vendor (union dues vendo).
    We have tried the following but are not able to identify pernr corresponding to the credit memo entry in the G/L document.:
    The FBL1n transaction yields only a consolidated result not pernrwise
    The document number on FB03 displays the line item but without pernr
    The PPOIX, PPDIX, PPDHD, PPDIT, REGUH, PAYR and the T51R... series have not yielded the pernr for the specific line item.
    The information we currently have:
    Run Id:
    Document Date:
    The amount on the credit memo:
    The posting document number:
    The transfer line number from HR to FI
    Line number (DOCLINUM) on the posting document:
    The payroll area of the employee
    The wage types associated with the vendor
    Need your help on the following:
    1) Is there a different place that credit memo needs to be looked into? Have we missed out any table?
    2) How do I use the posting document line number, the transfer line number, the document number and run ID in PPDIX to track down the pernr?

    Thanks for your response.
    One thing I missed out in my original post is that this is third party posting entry.
    I have the LINNUM and RUNID. But when I input those values in PPOIX, the search is not returning any results.
    This is a third party posting so my EVTYP=TP. Is PPOIX geared to return only PP values? Is there a way I can find the PP correspoding to these line items.
    I encountered a couple of problems when I ran through the flow.
    From credit memo (FI posting document BKPF), field 'AWKEY' is the reference document back to posting document on payroll site.
    I got the AWKEY
    Use BKPF-AWKEY and GL account  on FI line item you're interested in (BSEG-ALTKT) to get field 'DOCLIN' in table PPDIT (PPDIT-DOCNUM = BKPF-AWKEY, PPDIT-HKONT = BSEG-ALTKT) .
    When I looked at BSEG table, I noticed that ALTKT and HKONT are different.
    The HKONT has the same GL account as the GL account in BKPF. Itu2019s a/c payable outstanding checks.
    But ALTKT value has an account I couldnu2019t get in chart of accounts. Probably a clearing account? Also the original Accounting document line item has a vendor a/c which I believe is in turn linked with G/L account.
    So when I input DOCNUM, HKONT in PPDIT, my search is not returning any results. For that matter even with BSEG-HKONT that I described above, it is not returning any results. 
    Use PPDIT-DOCNUM, PPDIT-DOCLIN to get 'RUNID' , 'LINNUM' from PPDIX (PPDIX-EVTYP = 'PP', PPDIX-DOCNUM = PPDIT-DOCNUM, PPDIX-DOCLIN = PPDIT-DOCLIN).
    Since evtyp under consideration is TP, this is not returning results. If I take off the PP input, it does return Line Number and Run Id.
    Use PPDIX-RUNID, PPDIX-LINNUM to go get PERNR from PPOIX (PPOIX-RUNID = PPDIX-RUNID, PPOIX-POSTNUM = PPDIX-LINNUM).
    Does not return any results.

    My organization is doing credit memo using MIRO for both stock and non stock materials.But P&L G/L account is not getting credited with this entry.
    <b>Following are the flow of entries as per my knowledge-------</b>
    <b>1.When we receive materials(MIGO)</b>
    <b>Debit</b> -Stock(in case of stock materials) OR consumption account in case of non stock material
    <b>Credit-</b>  GR/IR Account
    <b>2.When inv verification done(MIRO)</b>
    <b>Debit</b> GR/IR Account
    <b>Credi</b>t Vendor
    <b>3.If I want to give normal credit memo I can use FV60 or MIRO</b>.
    MIRO is used in case of quantity reduction .
    If I used MIRO following is the entry happening.
    <b>Debit</b>-Vendor
    <b>Credit</b>-GR/IR Account
    During the third step G/L consumption account or stock account is not getting credited.This is resulting with unnecessary credit in GR/IR account and G/L account is not getting reversed.
    Can any one please advise whether this is the right procedure?If so why G/L account is not getting reversed?
    OR
    Do we need to post additional entry again debiting GR/IR account and crediting Stock or consumption account????
    Please advise ASAP.

    Hi,
    During credit memo, the G/L or consumption accont will not credited.
    The concerned material doc has to be reversed through migo also in MM.
    the steps is as under.
    1.  MIRO - Credit Memo
    Entries
    Dr. Vendor
    Cr. GR/IR Clearing account
    2.  MIGO - Select return delivery.
    Entries
    Dr. GR/IR Clearing account
    Cr. Inventory / consumption account.
    The GR/IR account gets nullified and the inventory or consumption account will get reduced.

    Hi Andrei,
    Just re-enter die AP Invoice the Credit Memo was based on. That way the accounting and warehousing legs will be managed by SBO.
    Thus your trail will be
    a. Create AP Invoice 1
    b. Create AP Credit Memo 1 - for AP Invoice 1
    c. Create AP Credit Memo 2 - for AP Invoice 1 (OOPS!!)
    d Create AP Invoice 2 - for AP Credit Memo 2
    Everything is as it were before creating AP Invoice 1.

    This regarding Create A/P Invoice for an item with value 1000. Correspondingly create a A/P Credit memo for the same bill with 800 value. if you see journal entry the difference amount is tracking in Exp. And Inv. Variance Acct. if it is single of warehouse.
    My scenario is GL account set by warehouse. And in our project there are six different warehouses.
    Above scenario happens in all six different warehouses, can you guide me where to set Exp. And Inv. Variance Acct. in the warehouse accounting.

    What is your valuation method.is it standard or moving average?
    if it is moving average A/P credit memo will create a journal crediting the stock and debiting the vendor in case of stock item.
    incase of noninventory expense gets credit and vendor gets debit.

    We are facing when we Cancel sales credit memo credit memo genarating wrong accounting document entry in production system.
    Same scenorio i have replicated in quality system and working fine.
    I have checked the billing type for credit memo s1 and cancel credit memo in quality system and production system configuration is same why it' hitting wrongly.
    Cancel credit memo is hitting document type RV instead of AB in production system but same it's correctly in quality system.
    I have checked the oba7,vofa.
    Please provide the clarification.

    For document type AB we have maintained reverse document type AB.
    S1 is billing document type we can not map in OBA7 with documen type RV.

    I don't know why AP Credit Memo posting date = '31/08/2011' but Journal Entry record posting date ='1/9/2011'.
    Change log on AP Credit Memo Create date ='31/08/2011' and change log on Journal Entry Create date='1/9/2011'
    APCredit Memo and Journal Entry link together.
    I try to make AP Credit Memo again and check. It's ok. It's not always happen just 1 Entry has problem.

    yesterday I try to check and reconize something:
    There are many trans from AR different date than Journal Entry but same month
    It's happen on date all user open addon (addon just help user load data from excel and put data on Sales order --> user add Sales order, addon don't add data), another date It's ok
    so, I think this problem by SDK but I don't know how to control SDK with this problem

  • Allow manual price entry in Debit/Credit memo request but not in STD Order

    The same pricing procedure is used for Standard order and Debit/Credit say ZRVA01.
    All condition types in ZRVA01 is set to "D" - not possible to process manually in V/06 since business requirement is not allow for manual pricing in sales order creation.
    When the Debit/Credit note is created(despite of create w/ or w/o reference to billing document), we need to have the user be able to overwrite the price value, able to delete condition type Surcharge, Discount since in some cases for the credit note, the original price might be too high and we only need to credit the customer for the wrong price.
    Question is how to allow 'no limitation'  (change with can be made, field Manaual entries in V/06) for all condtion types in pricing procedure but only for Debit/Credit memo request ?

    Thank you all, but if I create new condition to allow manual, how could I overwrite or delete some non relevant condition type in credit note
    i.e. in STD order we have ZPR0 (base price), ZD01(discount), ZS01(surcharge)  and we found out  that the ZPR0 and ZS01 was over charged, hence, we need to issue the Credit note to the customer, when create a credit memo request, the user will be able to change the value in ZPR0 and ZS01 and be able to delete ZD01 (as it is non relevant for credit note). How such the new condition type would applied?

    Can somebody help me in this issue
    we have a requirement from the users that they dont want the system to apply
    the credit memo automatically on the invoice when it released from the projects
    Scenario1: Invoice already been paid now they want to create a credit memo,
    system dont allow them to cancel the invoice the only way as per the theory is
    create a negative invoice and adjust it but the issue here is when ever you
    create a negative invoice it creates as invoice not credit memo which will be
    confusing to the users.
    in this case can we use billing extension to create the transaction type as
    credit memo when ever the invoice has negative amount?
    Or let me know if there is a way to perform this step?
    Scenario2: Invoice is created but they dont want to create a credit memo
    against that invoice since it gets applied automatically, the customer
    requirment will be they want to apply the credit memo for any future invoices
    as requested
    Is there a wya to have a credit memo created with out auto applying to an
    invoice, so that user can apply when ever they want
    what is credit memo on accoutn how it works with these above scenarios.
    sicne i tried setting up but the credit meo or concession is getting appled to
    the particular invoice automatically
    need urgent help required on this issue !!!!!

    Hi,
    For Scenario 1 you have two options:
    1) Update the AR transaction type extension for project invoice- Identify negative amount invoice and change the transaction type to project credit memo. This will update the transaction type on negative invoices before they are interfaced to Oracle AR.
    This is preferred option
    2) Update AR invoice Pre-processor to do the same thing.
    There is no standard setup which will allow you to change trx type of negative invoices.
    For Scenario2 - I dont think there is any direct way to create a credit invoice from Projects and keep it unapplied (again, apart from creating a negative amount invoice). You can create a credit memo in AR and use it to apply against future invoices.

    You can  also Capture & post excise without purchase order for customer returns using J1IEX.

  • No stock entry in Credit memo-HOW TO FIX IT

    Hi Experts,
    I need your help, because of an unknown feature of sap, some journal entry hasnt been taken. this is the following note (1126524).
    I have created 3 weeks ago a new warehouse for special items. After this creation lots credit memo were created with this warehouse. But as this note says, if the item has no cost in a warehouse then no journal entry will be done on stock account.
    I thought that with the price given in A/R credit memo then there will be a new FIFO layer, but no, so this causes that my COGS account displays wrong number ,too!
    Please help,how to fix this, how to know what journal entry should have been done, and is there any to realize?
