Credit Memo with the reference of multiple Billing document

Hi SD Gurus,
I wanted to create credit memo with the reference of multiple billing document for a single customer.
Is it possible in standard SAP? If YES please tell me HOW…
Thanks in advance...
Ratish Patil

hello, friend.
yes, you actually can.  first you enter VA01 and choose the document type.  press ENTER.
then in the order Overview screen, go to SALES DOCUMENT > CREATE WITH REFERENCE.  a dialog box will ask you which billing document you want as reference.  enter the document number and press COPY.
you can repeat this process as many time as you wish.  the items of the referenced documents will be copied into your Sales Document.
hope this helped.  reward if useful.

  • Due date calculation for the credit memo with invoice reference.

    Hi,
When we create the credit memo with reference to invoice, the due date for the credit memo is getting copied from Invoice. In this case if the invoice is due on 31.12.2008 and the credit memo is created on 10.09.2009, then the credit memo due date is appearing as 31.12.2008. It should be 10.09.2009 as per the setting in VOFA billing type customisation in "Credit Memo w/vldt".
I would like to know how to customise the below requirement.
If the reference invoice is due after the credit memo creation, the the credit memo should due as per the invoice date.
If the invoice due is past & then the credit memo due date should be Immediate i.e. Due Immediately.
    Thanks in advance for help.
    Regards,
    Nithin

I doubt there is such option. From the past projects I do remember that we made a change in the form to print the document date as 'Due Date' for credit memos. Credit memos were paid at once when they were processed and I think that payment term was copied from the original invoice, which made their due date far in future.

  • Standard Invoice and a Credit Memo with the same amount

    Hi,
I have a AP standard invoice with an amount of 100 € and the credit memo with -100 €.
The standard invoice and the credit memo have the same Supplier and distribution, and the status are Validated and Accounted is Yes.
How I can match this credit memo to that invoice?
If I try to create a payment with this invoice and credit memo, I get an error because I can not make a payment to zero.
I do with a suspense account? How I can do it?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi.
Enter a zero amount payment and select both documents.

  • Pricing procedure with a reference of a billing document

    Hi all,
How to apply new pricing procedure when you use a reference of another billing document?
by VA01, I want to use a billing document as a reference to create another sales document. Tthese 2 has different pricing procedures but when I do this, I want the sales document to use its own procing procedure.
But when I refer a billing document and create a sales document at VA01, it copies the billing document's pricing procedure.
These 2 pricing procedures have different condition types.
I already went to "Maintain Copy Control for Sales Document" - "Copying Controld: Billing Document to Sales Document"  and set "B" as its pricing type.
Waiting for a valuable replies from y'all.
    Best regards
    Misaki

    HI,
    Thank you for your reply,
I already have assigned pricing procedures to the required order types at OVKK, and V/08.
but it still doesn't go right.
When I don't refer any billing document at VA01 and simply create a sales document using required order type,  the assigned pricing procedure is used. However, when I use a reference of a billing document to create a new sales document, it copies a pricing procedure from the refered billing document and doesn't  use its own pricing procedure.
Wanting to know how to redetermine a pricing procedure to create a sales document when referring a billing document.
Ideally, the new sales document doesn't copy a pricing procedure at all from the reference(billing document), if possible.
I really appreciate for your help.

  • How to enter a credit memo with the funds returning to the PO

    Hi Guys,
This is my first post on here, not sure if I am posting this question in the correct area however hope you can help.
I have a number of credit notes from a vendor which need to be entered, we usually enter these in MIRO which is fine but what I am after is how to enter these credit notes so the funds return to the Purchase Order for further use.
For example, say the limits on the PO looked like this:
    Overall limit: 10,000
    Expected Value: 10,000
    Actual Value: 10,000
So we have had invoices for the entire 10,000. Is there a way I can enter a credit for say 5,000 so the limits would then look like:
    Overall limit: 10,000
    Expected Value: 10,000
    Actual Value: 5,000
We are hoping there is a way so we can avoid having the PR/PO increased, which has also gone above the contract ceiling.
Usually with credits we would enter them as a credit memo if we wanted to change the qty and price, and a sub credit if we just needed to amend the price leaving the qty as is. By doing it this way the funds don't actually return to the PO like in the example above, what does happen is when we pull up the PO in MIRO we can access the "credited" funds at that time. We would like to see the funds back on the actual PO, not sure if this can be done though, any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thankyou

    Hello Pistol,
This question is related to PO's then it belongs in one of the FI forums.
This is the forum for SAP Solution Manager which is the software SAP's support strategy is based upon.
You have posted in the wrong forum.
I would recommend closing this thread, and looking for a more appropriate forum to raise this question.
    I hope this is helpful.

  • Create Credit memo with reference to billing in VF01

    Hi all:
I want to create a credit memo with direct reference to the original billing. Thus the creation of CMR is not required. This is the new feature as of release 4.5a. In SAP system, I've done the configuration for copying control from billing document to billing document, source (F2) target (G2). Copying requirement 027. Pos/neg qty = + and Pricing type = D. I can create a credit memo with reference to a billing now. However, the system allow multiple credit memos. Duplicate credit memo are unwanted in the system.
How to control the system to avoid duplicate credit memo?
    Thanks and regards,

  • The output problem for billing document.

    Hi,
I have a problem with the printing of a billing document. I did set up the output determination of a billing document, but when I try and print, the Issue Output To window pops up with the Print Preview button and the print button. When I click on the print preview button, then it is ok but when click on the print button then the window close and nothing happens. When I click on the Print button it give me a message that output could not be issued. and it shows for only two document's.
    please help,
    Regards
    Subhash

Did you check the Medium(Print) in the Output determination record and also check for what medium the form is assigned in the NACE transaction.
Both the mediums should be the same.

  • Create Credit Memo with Reference to Multiple Documents

Hi.  I have the challenge of Creating a Credit Memo via VA01 referencing Multiple Billing Documents.  Anyone know any tricks to be able to reference Multiple Billing Documents in batch?

    Hi Kamlesh,
I think except for the Sold-to-party (which ensures same account assignment group, ur 5th point) all other can be modified in VA01. From the Billing Date of Ref Inv it takes the "pricing date" if they are different then "invoice splitting" happens for the credit / Debit memo request. Similar thing happen in case of different "terms of payment", "Inco Term" etc.
    Thanks,

  • Creating a Credit memo with reference to Billing document

    Hi All,
I am creating a Credit memo say CM by with reference to a Billing document say B.The Billing document has been created from a Contract say C.
Now while creating the CM the contract dates need to be copied from C to the contract data screen of CM.
I have used Copying control Billing Document to Sales Document for achieving this.
I have edited the VEDA(Contract data) in the routines 302,303,402 etc. but its not reflecting in Contract data of CM screen neither at header level nor item level.
Please help me in resolving this.
    Replies appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Blessy

    Dear Rupak,
Your price / Quantity is copying correctly from Billing means your Copy Control settings are proper.
Now while creating Credit Memo Request, after you change Quantity you are currently selecting Update & "B" - i.e. Carry out new pricing.
Here instead of "B" select "A".
A means - Copy price components and redetermine scales.
    Here the system:
    1. does not determine any new condition types
    2. and only redetermines the scale prices for changed quantities
I guess this will definitely solve your problem.
    Hope this helps...

  • Credit Memo with reference

    Dear All,
I have a requriement where Credit memo will be created against multiple invoice reference
but amount will be copy in single line from VBRK-NETWR for all refenced bills.
I have sarched in furum and found that it is not possible I have to copy items from referenced
invoices and then proceed for credit memo.Plz revert if this is possible in SAP standared configuration.
    regards,
    sps.

Retro Billing is used when you go for mass change of Base Pricing Condition Type  in Billing doc(complete) based on Sold-to party & Material for a given range Billing date from & to. To do this you need agreement of your customer, and accordingly you make necessary changes in  Base Pricing Condition Type  condition record. Thus, retro billing is not at all relevant for the requirement.
Whereas, invoice creation request will have line item, one for Credit and one for Debit. If there are several corrected items, the system cumulates the values of all the items and calculates a total value. And based on your requirement you need to manually change either debit or credit line item amount. Based on the difference of these item the Credit (postive diff) or Debit memo (Negative diff) will be proposed by system. And you can have multiple reference.

  • Credit Memo with reference to Sales Order

    Dear Friends,
I am trying to configure customization for the new billing document type (Credit Memo) with reference to an existing sales order, and i want the new billing type also to be listed in the billing due list when we create the invoices with transaction VF04.  Can you pl. advise me the parameters that need to be considered importantly in customization.  Or even a document link would be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    BR,
    KP

    Hi,
In VF04 you can give different billing type.
So in that you can also add your newly created billing type to show in the billing due list.
If you want your sales order should consider your billing document only then do the setting in VOV8.
If you want to some thing else then please let us know clearly.
    Regards

  • Credit memo with reference to a sales order with reference to a contract?

    Hello All
Now I created a quantity contract and the customer paid the Amount that means the billing is done then I started creating sales orders with reference to the contract, can I create credit memos with reference to these sales orders?
    Regards
    Jacopo Francois

    Hi,
You can create a contract for a longer duartion say 1 year, andyou can create sales order in reference to your contract. This would be an ideal scenario in case of service materials.
You can now surely create credit memo's in reference to this sales order.
You will invoice the sales order first and create a credit memo request in reference to your sales invoice and then invoice the credit memo request to raise your credit memo for the customer.
    Reward if helpful.
    Regards
    Ravi
