CRM 2007 Account Identificaiton Error

Hi,
I am having an error while confirming an account through account identification page, client don't use the install base/install object but when we are trying to confirm the account it is looking for the install base. How can i remove the install base search while confirming the account?
I can remove the views for install base/object by enhancing the component CRMCMP_BPIDENT, but where can i make the change in ICCMP_BP_DETAIL on eh_onconfirm, i am not able to find where in the code is it looking for the install base for confirming an account.
could anyone please let me know how can i restrict the code so that it won't look for install base while confiming an account. I am not sure if it can be achieve by technical changes or it can be achieved by functional configuration changes?

Hi,
I just solve it, there is configuration check available for this in SPRO->CRM->Interaction Center WebClient->Master Data->Define Account Identification Profiles, there you can uncheck the check box under object components.

When I am creating provider order in CRM 2007, on saving order it is throwing error A business agreement must be entered for sold-to party XYX
Diagnosis
The field "FI-CA active" is not selected for the sold-to party 222 in the business partner record, that is, the payment transactions are processed via the R/3 component. A business agreement must be entered for this process.
I understand that business agreement will help in linking bp records with FI-CA. But if we dont wish to integrate with FI-CA then how to rectify this error

One simple way if you want to get rid of this error (mostly for testing purposes/may not be relevant for production system) is
go to CRM SPRO->MASTER DATA->BUSINESS PARTNER->BUSINESS AGREEMENT->DEFINE BASIC SETTINGS-> (HERE DE-ACTIVATE THE FI-CA INDICATOR).

CRM 2007 SP03 upgrade error

We are running CRM 2007 on SP00/ HP-UX/Oracle 10.2.0.2
While we are trying to apply SP01 support pack files through JSPM we are getting the following message at the bottom of JSPM screen and JSPM hangs from this point onwards:
Target System of development component u2018dp/dam.xmltranslationu2019/u2019sap.comu2019/u2019MAIN_CRM70VAL_Cu2019/u20191294192u2019/u20190u2019
reported the following error:
JSPM logs does not report any error as mentioned above and JSPM does not produce any trace file either. After displaying the above messages JSPM does not advance any further.
Then we downloaded SP03 support pack files and tried with the new set of files. Still facing the same problem. Did anyone face/resolve this problem?? Please suggest.

We could fix the problem finally. Here is the answer:
Check SDM logs at ../SDM/program/log/ directory for the log that shows this error message. This log also shows that parameter 'com.sap.cm.share' is missing from SDM repository.
There is a note discussing the matter: 965948 Missing deployment variable "com.sap.cm.share".
Once you set the parameter and restart JSPM everything went OK.

After to check the consistency of field STRUCT.PROBABILITY I need insert an error message in screen (web client). I created the Enhancement Point in to method GET_PROBABILITY in attribute STRUCT.PROBABILITY.

Hello Daniel,
I would do this kind of validation in the controller of the view and not the context node by overwriting method DO_FINISH_INPUT. There you would do your check and then add the message by using a message service. Check the methods of the message service for the method which suits you.
lr_mservice = me->view_manager->get_message_service( ).
        CALL METHOD lr_mservice->add_bapi_messages
          EXPORTING
            it_bapi_messages = lt_msg
            iv_show_only_once = abap_true.

CRM 2007 - Interactive Reporting Error

Hi Gurus
I am following Best Practice Guide C41 to configure the Interactive Reporting.
In the section titled: Activating Delivered Reports and InfoTypes (CRM)
This configuration is to take part in the CRM Client (Content Client) I received a number of messages of this nature: Source System xxxCLNTyyy is not Active for this BI.
Where xxx = System & yyy = Client Number.
I'm sure it's a basis config mistake but I'm sure I've done everything correctly as per the Guide.

I assume this error occurs when you press the 'Confirm' button ?
Have you assigned a business transaction profile to your (IC) Business Role, using function profile IC_BT ? It could be that the system does not know which transaction type to use for your interaction record.

For this service ticket, kindly check the Org Unit maintained in Transaction and table OFIC_BILLORG_SRV are same. If not same kindly make changes in the following path in SPRO.
==> SAP Implementation Guide
==> Customer Relationship Management
==> Organizational Management
==> Cross-System Assignment of Organizational Units
==> Assign Billing Units to Service/Sales Organizations

But whenever I try to build anyone of them.
There is a error.

Error while implemention ORDER_SAVE in CRM 2007

At present we are experiencing an error while implementing badi ORDER_SAVE for sending CRM (2007)sales order data to PI (7.1) through ABAP proxy. In the BadI implementation we have created the Proxy Object through class (generated while defining the Proxy object in PI) and pass the SO details through the method available.
Error ' Administration header not Found' while saving the CRM sales Order.
Please let me know is any changes done in CRM 2007 for BadI implementation. Also suggest the best way to go forward to resolve this problem.

U can do it.. But what i suggest is.. create a Z Function Module that will trigger in background in seperate task by passing the GUID.
In this Z FM write all your code related to the Proxy...

Getting error type RABAX_STATE in CRM 2007 Webclient

We have installed CRM 2007 and upgraded the patchlevel of BBPCRM to SP2. After the patch upgrade we are getting type RABAX_STATE error after we log in through Webclient. We get no errors while logging through SAP GUI. Before the upgradation we were successfully able to login through Webclient. The details of error screen is as follows:

How to login CRM 2007 BSP page use account domain of Microsoft AD

Dear friends,
I am finding solution to setup system with the requisite:
- Login to CRM 2007 Business Server Page use account domain which is managed by Microsoft Acitve Directory.
- Users use only web browser, they didn't use SAPGUI and they must type username, password ( their username,password are managed in Microsoft AD, not in SAP system) in every login to BSP page, don't use solution like X.509 client certificate.
I used to configured using SNC and I could login to SAP System using SAPGUI without type SAP username and password when I log in my computer by account domain( my computer is joined in domain).
But my requisite is have to use account domain( username and password) and type them in web browser when I want to log in SAP system, could not configured to go to directly SAP application ( BSP page ) without type username/password of account domain.
After time looking for solution about authentication :

I think may be I could login to java portal by used username/password of account domain to authenticate after login to portal I use SSO to switch to BSP page without type username password again. This solution may be accepted because I was login to SAP application from web browser and used account domain.

The normal way to do this is to configure the authentication stack required on a JAVA stack (e.g. portal or standalone Java instance of NetWeaver or dual stack) and then configure the BSP app in SICF transaction to redirect to Java stack when no SSO2 ticket is sent by browser (e.g. user has already authenticated). The redirect to Java stack will be done, such that after user has authenticated to Java stack they will be issued with an SSO2 ticket and redirected back to the BSP app URL. From end users perspective, they will access the BSP app URL and get authenticated using Active Directory, and they won't know about the redirection since they will be logged into the BSP app once they have authenticated.
The authentication using Active Directory can be done using two methods:
- Using credentials already on workstation from workstation logon, e.g. using Integrated Windows Authentication
- Showing user a form where they enter AD account and password.

Account Classification in CRM 2007

Hi All,
I am working on customizing the Account classification in CRM 2007. We need to classify the - Role by sales organization and Ranking by country.
The attributes need to be defined are Role and Ranking
The values for Role are Customer, Prospect andCompetitor
Similarly the values for Ranking are Gold, silver and Problematic.
So i defined the criteria as Country and Sales organization
and the attributes as Ranking and Role.
But i am confused where to maintain the required values for the same.
Can any one help me out please?

Hi RK,
Once you are done with creating the attributes Role & Ranking, you can maintain the values against each of these attributes in the BP master data.
There are two ways to do it:
1) Within the BP, you have a view called "Marketing Attributes", here you assign the attribute set and maintain values against each attribute that you have created.
2) From the sapgui, you can use t.code CRMD_PROF_BP and maintain the attribute values to business partners
Since you are talking of CRM 2007, I guess you should be able to do this directly from the Web UI of the CRM 7.0 system

CRM 2007 vs CRM 52: Account Search - Favorites

Does the functionality exist in CRM 2007 to save "favorite" accounts in the account search application similar to the accounts application in the PCUI in CRM 40/50? I know that you can do saved searches with CRM 52/2007, however can we create lists of favorite accounts directly from the UI.
Our business users heavily use the favorite account feature in the PCUI. If this not present what alternatives besides setting up relationships between the accounts and their employee bupa record and using a saved search for that criteria would I have to simulate this functionality?

Actually I'm not aware of limitations around how many search criteria could be save together as the dynamic object queries are stored and the parameters are stored in a xml format.
The Saved search are stored in tables CRMD_SHORTCUT and CRMT_DYN_QUERY. For the short cut one there also exist a _T table for the texts.
If you want to look for multiple IDs as a saved search you could do this in case you do not have a "better" common search criteria e.g. country or region.
I'm not sure what you refer to as a concept with regards to leveraging the relationships.
