CRM 5.0 : Assign partner to Individual Objects

We would like to assign partners to Individual Objects without managing Installed Base.

I had 2 issues
- I didn't have the X set in SMOFPARSFA so i was doing availibility information which doesn't include scheduling (pick pack)
- other issue was timezones which required note 1423767

Missing of Business partner and Individual objects linkage.

Hi ,
We are implementing CRM 7.0 service.We don't have equipments(cannot able to see it in IE03 and equipment number will be in EQUI,Since equipment view is not activated in serial number profile of material) and have serial numbers generated for the sales order line item.Hence we opted for download of serial number and serial number configuration(VC) after making all necessary config settings and Iam able to see it in webclient under INDIVIDUAL OBJECTS(NOT IBASE).Also able to search individual objects based on product ID(Material) or serial number or BP wise in webclient.
Now Iam facing the the following issue
Iam not able to search the individual objects based on BP for the old data(data created in ECC before we did related configurations in CRM).whereas Iam able to search the same old data based on product ID and Serial number,meaning BP linkage is missing for the old data.
Can anyone suggest what is missing.

Ok thanks .. waited 4 years for the Partner and Competitor to be reportable .. so what's a few more years for being able to customize the 'ADD' screen !! :)
As far as the default values ..
I want to default the 'Relationship' field to 'Customer' and the 'Reverse Relationship' field to 'Vendor'. I tried adding as default value:
[<RelationshipRole>] = LookupValue("PARTY_REL_TYPE","Customer")
I'm probably doing something wrong in this expression, but can't seem to make it work !

Business partner in Fact Sheet for Individual object

Hi Folks,
I am unable to see the assigned business partners on the Fact Sheet for an Individual object. I have created the iObject in the portal. Here, I could not assign any BP's during the creation as the system does not have this option. I then went ahead and created an Installed Base and assigned this iobject to it in the CRM system in transaction [IB51] "Create Installed Base". I then went ahead and assigned the Business Partners to this iObject.
The situation is that I can see the assigned Business Partners in the Portal for this iObject/Component for the Installed Base in the "Installed Bases/Components" tab but when i go to the "Fact Sheet for Installed Bases" tab I am unable to see the assigned BP's.
I haven't been able to find any documentation on it either. Can someone please help.

Creation of individual object in crm

Hi All,
Can anyone help me how to create an Individual Object in CRM.
I have created Equipment in R/3,replicated to CRM.
Now when i am trying to create Installed Base i dont find any Individual Objects on the Individual Object tab in the Installed Base screen.
I have even done the required configuration of the Individual Object.
Please help me on this issue.

Iam trying to Download Equipments from ECC 5.0 to CRM 5.0.
Iam getting a Validation Error in the Bdoc CRM_EQ_DMBDOC.
The Error Message is Assign a Base Category to the Product.
I have the Base Hierarchy R3PRODSTYP Assigned to the Application
Product.
And i cannot edit the Hierarchy or Categories since they are Downloaded
from ECC.
Please let me know how to Specify a Base Hierarchy/Category for the
Equipments to get Downloaded as Individual Objects.
I should also be able to create Individual Objects Directly in CRM.
Using IB51 too i get the Same Error it says Product Category not
Avaiable for Object Family 0401.
Please Advice!!!

Can some one please let me know the procedure to create Individual Objects in SAP CRM. I mean I want to know the function modules or classes to create Individual Objects.

Hi Narendra,
You might not be able to create an Individual object directly in CRM using the SAP GUI, but the way I know of is to use the PC-UI application CRMM_PRD_IOBJECT. So the URL would be something like:
http://<FQDN>:<port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_bsp_frame/entrypoint.do?appl=CRMM_PRD_IOBJECT
once you have created your Iobject here you can try to utilize the same in your installed base.

Individual Object assigned 2 Reference Product

I want to use Individual Object with referencing Data from Products in CRM 5.0 SAPGUI.

The steps I made:
In trx COMM_HIERARCHY I added the following category:
R3PRODSTYP
- MAT
-- MAT_HAWA
--- ID_REF (added)
For cat MAT_HAWA, in tab Relnship Types:
- PRDSCPS Customer/Distribution Chain for Product
- IOBMP S IOBMP/S
- IOBQFRS IOBQFR/S
- PROREFS Reference Product for Individual Object
For cat ID_REF:
Assigned to object family Z001
Additional Settype ZS0001
I have created a material Z900016 of the type MAT_HAWA,
In the Installed Base 100, I created a component Building A. Tab Product I added the created material Z900016. Tab Individual Object I added Family Z001 and Object ID z1234. After selecting the IO component I press the icon Component Detail.
I can see my additional settype ZS0001 chars but I don't see the reference data of Z900016.
Any suggestion is appreciated,

Thnks for reply but the problem remains. Just to be sure:
Product Z900016 has the category MAT_HAWA. The date maintained for this category is:
MAT_HAWA:
- Tab CATEGORY: Product/Object Assignment Possible
- Tab RELNSHIP TYPES: Reference Product for Indivual Object
One level down of MAT_HAWA the category ID_REF is maintained:
- Object Family: Z001
I create IB 415 Customer 01
- Building A (Text)
-- 900016 (Product)
--- Family Z001 (object fam) + Z900016V01 (Object ID)
When I open the pop-up for Object ID you can search using 'REFERENCE PROD ID' but the system doesn't show any hits. When I enter Z900016v01 and select 'Component Detail' I see the own settype and the general settypes of the product. But the date in the general settypes are all empty.

I have replicated Equipments from PM to Individual Objects in CRM, i am trying to get the customer warranty Start and End date updated at individual objects from equipments at Iq03,
please suggest the steps both ways possible through standard and technical.
I have created warranty products in CRM when i am trying to add warranty product manualy to the ibase at individual objects i am getting an error
Relationship type IOBWTY for source object type BUS1178 cannot be maintained

Hi Nikhil,
Though not for the exact error message but I would advise you to check the below SAP KBA:
1899474 - Relationship type &1 for source object type &2 cannot be maintained (message number COM_IL015)
Or, you may try to debug out where the error is getting raised in the manual process of warranty addition.

CRM/ISU: Notes (or Texts) at Connection Object Level and replication

Hi there,
I am trying to replicate to CRM (and back to ISU) the Text objects linked against the Connection Object in ISU.
The idea is to have two texts area in the Connection Object in the WebIC that can be replicated back to the related ISU's ones.
The requirement is to replicate those texts (multiline texts, textarea, notes) linked against the Connection Object from CRM to ISU.
The connection object in CRM is a "casted" Individual Object that can be linked against Notes (or Texts), isn't it?
So the IObjects can have a Notes Assignment Block.
The problem is that from an WebIC point of view the Notes Assignment block obviously are not shown.
Have someone of you done something like that before? Any idea?

Copying individual objects - customizing or BADI?

Hi everybody,
we are working with CRM 7.0 and we use the copy functionality for individual objects. Now we want for example that the partners from the assignment block parties involved in the individual object are copied.
Does anybody know if this is customzing, some kind of copy control? Or do we need to use a certain BADI? if yes which BADI?

I'm assigning the header data to structure E1BPSDHD1
and Item data to E1BPSDITM,E1BPSDITM1
and Partner data to structure E1BPPARNR.
When I am assigning Partner data to the structure E1BPPARNR, I want to assign both sold-to-party and ship-to-party ,(because I have two source fields of this type) but there is only target field related to the partner data , here I am assigning partner type as SP and partner number as sold-to-party, still there is an unassigned field ship-to-party, for this field I am unable to find a relevant target field so please help me how can I assing These two flat file fields (sold-to-party,ship-to-party)
Looking for further more information : if there is many sold-to-party's and many ship-to-party's how can I go that in this situation i.e maintaining Many to Many relationship using LSMW tool

Here is what you have to do.
In field mapping, double click on the field PARTN_NUMB (or any field of that structure) in change mode. This opens up the code editor. There just enter the following code. I am assuming you are doing only these fields. But if you are mapping more fields of this structure, you have to map them here.
E1BPPARNR-PARTN_NUMB = ORDERHEADER-KUNAG.
E1BPPARNR-PARTN_ROLE = 'AG'.
E1BPPARNR-ITM_NUMBER = '000000'.
*-- add more field mappings here, if needed
TRANSFER_RECORD.
*-- Now pass the Ship-to record
E1BPPARNR-PARTN_NUMB = ORDERHEADER-KUNWE.
E1BPPARNR-PARTN_ROLE = 'WE'.
E1BPPARNR-ITM_NUMBER = '000000'.
*-- Add more partners if needed by copying the above code.
Remember, you need to do TRANSFER_RECORD only that many times as you have the partners. There will be one 'TRANSFER_RECORD' at the end of this structure, so keep that in mind.

Creating campaigns with individual objects

Hi,
I would like to create a "file" extract of the target group from a campaign to include both Individual object and business partner information. Can any one please let me know how to do this ?
For example: My campaign should include all customers who bought a laptop in the last 30 days. And the file extract of the target group should have info about the model number of the laptop (Set type) Unique ID (I-object ID) and customer information like name, address etc.
I am able to create an attribute list having both search parameters but I am having trouble extraction the target group containing both objects and BPu2019s to a file. Can you please help

Hi Zhenglin,
Currently in the SAP 7.0 UI i can download the TG using "Export" to excel function but the TG field for Iobjects is not present. There is also an option called "View related Objects" button however that gives me all the Iobjects related to the BP which may not be relevant to the campaign (Eg. If the customer owns two laptops, one bought 5 years back and another 2 weeks back - Both the objects are displayed where as i just need the one relevant to the campaign)
Can anyone please tell me how to add the relevant Iobject to this TG list on the UI..

Product registration--- individual object- installed base

As soon as i register the products in ICSS, it creates individual objects.
1)HOw can it be automatically added to Existing ibase of customer?
2) Or how can it be created itself automatically as Installed base.
Please give me some valuable suggestions .

Hi Priya,
The product registration process in ICSS is the creation of a standalone individual object. If you want to have an ibase node created please use the ibase functionality and add a node component (product or object) to an existing ibase or create a new ibase.

Quantity Unit for individual objects missing.

Hi,
i have the following problem using mobile service.
We need to enter individual objects in the service confirmation. I can select one, but the dropdown for the quantity unit is empty. Because of this beeing a mandatory field, i can not save the service confirmation. The select statement coming from the corresponding comboengine is using the SFAMARA key to search the SMOMARM for this information. This table is empty for individual objects.
Each equipment has a back reference to it's original material wich has got the information, even in SMOMARM.
so my question: In CRM-Online the back reference is used, in Mobile its using the individual object key. I would identify this as a bug. We are using Mobile 5.0 SP7, CRM 5.0 .
Has anybody experience with this and can support me? i found nothing in OSS! Maybe some customizing in CRM-Online or MSY. I don't know.

Hi,
IObjects cannot be entered as items for service confirmations or orders as it makes no sense at all.
The reference to one or more IObjects will be done in Tileset <Subject/Objects> or <Item Subject/Objects>, Tile <Reference Objects>.

To restrict materials or any of the data for any of the download object,
Go to R3AC1, select the download object, go to tab Filter and set the filters
for eg.
Object: Material
You want to download materials between number 1000 and 1500
go to filter tab,
set value for following filter record

MARA MATNR BT 1000 1500
To download customer object user object
Customer_Main
and to download relationships of Customer use object
Customer_rel
