CRM 5.0 certification query?

Hi,
I just spoke to SAP UK regarding CRM Marketing certification CR600. They do CRM 5.0( not CR 4.0) & no prerequesite like certifaction in base customisation ( though it is advisable ). So we can straightway do CR600
I have been practising in CRM 4.0 version.how different is CR5.0 in terms of going thoruh pdfs & other settings?
One thing more, what is the difference between Associate Certification(fee is £350 +vat) & Professional certification ( fee is £430 + vat ).
Your prompt reply will be highly appreciated.
regards.
thanks.
Anil

Hi,
there is slight technical difference and delta enhancements available in version 5 from ver 4.  However, I didn't find it much different when it comes to certification exam.  I practiced a lot in version 4 (as that was only available when I practiced) and attended exam in version 5 and got certified too.  You should be able to find delta documentation easily in SAP's own website.
On the website, help.sap.com go to
bestpractices--> crossindustry --> crm --> v240 --> BBLibrary --> Documentation --> B08_DeltaGuide_EN_US.doc
This explains about configuration delta.
Hope, this helps.

  • SAP CRM 6.0 Certification too expensive!

    Hi!
I am a certified in SAP CRM 5.0.    I paid Rs 3,00,000  for the course, which in my opinion was really expensive.
But I was looking at the couse schedule for SAP CRM 6.0 and i was really shocked ( Yes Shocked) by the fees they are asking for the course. I think this is beyond my imagination why they are asking so much amount for the course which,
    1) Doesn't gaurantee any job placement.
    2) It is just for 25 days ( If you go for one of the main modules, i.e Sales, Marketing etc.)
So what does SAP want to prove by this? Come on, one can finish MBA (which is for 2 years in India and 1 year in UK) by paying this much amount.
And I have heard that many people are finding it difficult to pass the certification exams these days.
If any responsible person from SAP can explain this to me, I would be greatful. And please provide specific answers why you are charging this much.
    Customer Relationship Management
    TCRM10 CRM - Fundamentals      10    INR 165,000.00
    TCRM20 CRM u2013 Fundamentals II   10    INR 165,000.00
    CR300 CRM Sales                         5    INR   82,500.00
    CR800 CRM e-Commerce               3    INR   49,500.00
    CR700 CRM Service                       5    INR   82,500.00
    CR600 CRM Marketing                   5    INR   82,500.00
SAP CRM 6.0 Certification                   INR   25,000.00
(12.5% service tax on top of this amount)
If you want to do the course for one module (TCRM10 + TCRM20 + CR300) taken as example.
In India it will around Rs 5,00,000
In US dollar it will be around $ 10,500
In UK pound sterling it will be around  6900 GBP.
Plesase send your comments on this.

    Hello,
When you are CRM 5.0 certified again why you want to go with CRM 6.0
SAP keep on releasing the version, do you want to go anttend all the version. It is not really worth.
If you are certified in one version, in my opinion, it is more than enough.

  • CRM 2011: Creating SQL Query through MSCRM

I have been asked to create some kind of query through SQL to find all open opportunities that have an activity record associated to that opportunity.
Is this something that can be done through SQL? If so how do I join these two tables together?
    Thanks in advance

You can do this in SQL, though you can also easily access this directly in CRM using Advanced Find.
When accessing data via SQL, the supported route is to use the filtered views, rather than querying the tables directly. Each entity has an associated filtered view, for example the opportunity entity has a filtered view called FilteredOpportunity.
You can join opportunities to activities using the regaridngobjectid field on the ActivityPointer entity
    select * from FilteredOpportunity o join FilteredActivityPointer a on o.opportunityid = a.regardingobjectid

  • WCF certification query

    Hi there,
I wanted to ask whether the following material is still applicable to prepare for Exam 70-513:
MCTS Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-503): Microsoft® .NET Framework 3.5—Windows® Communication Foundation
Is there a reason why this hasn't been updated yet? Can anyone suggest alternative materials that Microsoft have?
I only found few examples on the MSDN forum. Currently i am reading WCF book that was written by a third party.
Secondly, do candidates get informed what the format of the exam will be on day of the exam? Or do they not get informed about the exam format at all?
    Kind Regards,

Thanks for the link.I clicked on the link and it states the following:
Credit towards certification: Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified Professional
    Developer (MCPD)
Does that mean if i complete the course i won't get a certificate? Also does it mean i have to pass several exams to achieve MCTS or MCPD?

Which one would be beneficial , Looking at other posts by yourself you ar working with SQL ... and just possibly some PL/SQL (and possibly not).
Got confused which one to take Exam 1Z0-051 or Exam 1Z0-047.
1z0-051 is an easier exam, it will give you an exam pass but not a certification. In doing this you will ensure you have studied the basic topics.
1z0-047 is a more advanced exam that does give a certification, in general it is a lot harder and involves more complex.
Locating the exams on http://certification.oracle.com and viewing the topics is helpful.
My personal recommendation in general is to study 1z0-051 first, then consider 1z0-047.
    - ( IMHO It really ought to be 1z0-051 is a pre-requsite for 1z0-047; this is a pain for some experienced people who are really proficient at SQL but some people are being led badly into 1z0-047 when they shouldn't be, and 'know' adanced topics without knoing basic techniques).
If you are involved in PL/SQL then http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=458&get_params=p_track_id:PLSQL is relevant
where I can put these certificated in my Cv.If you have passed an exam you may put that in your cv.
If you have received confirmation you achieved a certification you may put that information in your cv or download the logo from certview.oracle.com if that is your desire and insert following the guidelines. Certifcation logos in CV's is not my scene.
Recently I heard that for this Exam 1Z0-051 ,certificate won't be provided. Is it so?The is no certification that has 1z0-051 as the sole pre-requisite.
Please also visit htp://certification.oracle.com and view the getting started / preparation and FAQ sections etc.
