Please tell me if CRM can be implemented in banking sectors also or its meant only for retail and operations.
Also please tell me if every CRM project mandatorily require BI.

Actually for Banking in SAP R/3 it is available under FSCM loans management is there?
One more sap banking solution is IS Banking which mainly deals with Basel Norms and credit worthiness of the customers.

Restricting the drop down menu contents in CRM BSP application for portal

Dear All,
I have a problem with CRM BP where I am accessing a BSP application for ACTIVITIES - SEARCH "CRMD_BUS2000126_F4" as an iview. This iview has been assigned to a user who is an external employee of the organization. This contains a drop-down menu to search for ACTIVITIES based on user's choice(ME, MY DEPT, MY GROUP..etc). My problem is to restrict the choices in the DROP-DOWN menu to only ME and remove all others.
How do i do that???

u r on right track.
Save the changes that you make to the field group (entering a default value and tick 'read-only')
I hope you are changing the field-group in CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C.
after u have saved the canges to the fieldgroup, you need to re-gerenate the layout.
Layout of User Interface (People-Centric UI) -> Application Element -> Field Group -> Layout Generation.
Enter the name of the fieldgroup that u just changed.
First run it as it is (with the "Only Check Field-Groups" ) to see if it is running into any errors.
If there are no errors, Make sure that you remove the "Only Check Field-Groups" option and then execute.
The layout will b generated and you should see the desired changed now.

unfortunately that fix for my camera Powershot G6 does not work or apply as the view pictures switch is different on G6 is not usable during download as once you plug in DC/USB cable it turns off, and makes no diff and problem still exists exactly as you just described.

it has been 17 days since apple promised to get back to me within 3-5 days hopefully with a solution, but I have still not heard from them.
They blew me off, i guess, probably i will have to wait for new Yosemite OS update, which they pre-warned me could take as much as 6 months.
I cannot believe apple released this new update with such major bug issues for camera downloads and that horrible "Photos" pgm which has all sorts of downgrades in features, usefulness and new bugs compared to iPhotos which I just finally got used to and was much better software.
I am starting to lose faith in Apple and I am getting that Microsoft "FEEL" like I used to have when I was a PC user, which was why I originally switched to Apple computers in first place.
Oh well got my fingers crossed here.
Thankfully the memory card reader solution is working well, but cost me $45.

The Project Estimator is a tool based on Microsoft Excel, the ASAP Roadmap,the SAP Reference Structure, and the Implementation Guide (IMG) and is used by SAP consultants to estimate the workload, schedules, and
costs of SAP R/3 implementation projects.
Use:SAP employees and consultants can perform project estimation using the Project Estimator in any phase of an SAP R/3 implementation project. The length of time
it takes to perform project estimation depends on how familiar the user is with the tool and with SAP R/3 implementation procedures, and on the level of detail at
which the user is expected to define the project parameters. An initial rough estimation can be completed in one to two hours. The results of project

Issue in creating a dropdown for Industry sector field

Hello Gurus,
Am trying to create a dropdown for Indusry field. 3 dropdown should come up for Industry sector field namely primary,secondary and tertiary.Corresponding to the value selected in primary,data should come up in Secondary and corresponding to value selected in secondary ,data should up in tertiary.Am only able to fetch the value at first instance but corresponding values are not coming up secondary and tertiary.I have followed the procedure that had to be followed in order to make a field as dropdown.Can anyone Please help.

Modified CRM application doesn't deployed in PROD server.

Hello SDN!
We have DEV and PROD runtime systems for CRM developing. Our custom CRM application successfully deployed to the DEV server many times. But transport to the PROD server hasn't any effect - our application doesn't exists in PROD server.
In CMS we assemble CRM SCs (SAP-CRMAPP, SAP-CRMDIC, SAP-CRMWEB, SAP-SHRAPP, CUSTCRMPRJ, SAP-SHRWEB), approve it and finally import in in "Production" tab. There was no error during this process.
I don't want post whole SDM log since it' huge, here is a begin:

Hi Lev,
Please ensure that you have mainted the j2ee engine hostname, port number and userid/password details for deployment onto the server.
The same can be checked in CMS --> Landscape configurator -->Runtime systems tab.

How to load a dat file data into CRM Application

My sourcre file is .DAT File and I want load data in that .DAT file in CRM Application.
Is it Possible? if yes then how.

Hi Cesar,
I don't know if you have found a solution, but attached is a DLL built in VC that will read the text out of a file into a TestStand variable. The attached sequence file \SequenceFile1.seq contains a step type that is set to call the DLL responsible for reading the file. It reads the file specified under Step.FilePath and stores the data in Step.ReadData. Please let me know if this works for you. I have attached the source as well.

Document Sequence Information Does not Exist for Bank Account

Oracle E-Bus Suite: 11.5.10.2
OS: Windows 2003
We are facing the problem while executing the ARPLABIM - Bank Statement Import program, 'Document Sequence Information Does not Exist for Bank Account'.
We have already reviewed Oracle Metalink Document: Document Sequence Information Does not Exist for Bank Account: Doc ID: Note:147773.1.

But the profile option Sequential Numbering cannot be set to Not Used due to certain funcational limitations. Please advise any other workaround.

There are only two options:
1. Setup document Sequence. OR
2. Change the profile either the user level who runs this program (assuming a batch user name) or at the resp or application level. Not necessarily at the site level.

FF-6 is not working for Bank statement View

Hi SAP Friends,
Could you please tell me how we need to print the bank statement in FF_6,
I have given then application type as 0001 and i have given the all the house bank and statement number and date, But i am not getting any statement in FF_6.
I am getting the error like LIST CONTAINS NO DATA.
Please suggest the same.

Hello,
Give application as 0001
Do not give any other things
Just give statement number from 1 to 9999
then give 01 for GL and 02 for bank sub ledger
You will get it.
This is only problem in the selection parameters. If you correct the selection parameters surely you will get the statement.
