CRM Auto-Dialer for ACT! Contact Manager

I'm using 7961 series phone and a contact manager that has auto-dialer that usually needs an analog line. I do have a digital to analog converter but it does not respond since there is no dial tone after getting outside line. Question: I wondered if there are config settings that allow the phone to accept the touch-tone signal/phone number to speed dial out? Comments? Many thnxs k

  • VoIP Auto Dialer for testing numbers

We are porting several thousand numbers over to SIP connectivity via the carrier in a couple of weeks. I need to find an auto dialer of sorts that will allow me to input a range of phone numbers and then have the dialer dial each number and report back on the status - fast busy, ring, voicemail, or whatever. I would love to rely on the carrier and their reporting information, but many hundreds of these lines are too critical to not actually test with an actual call. Doe anyone know of a good application that can do what I am describing?
    Thanks.
    Tom

Some carriers use Empirix Hammer, but it is not cheap, will do exactly what you are describing:

  • New to Apple.  Any suggestions for a contact mgmt. app for Mac similar to ACT?

I am totally new on Apple products.  Can anyone suggest if there is a comparable product such as ACT or Goldmine for Customer Contact Management purpose?  I am excited about the simplicity of "Contacts" on Mac compared to ACT or some of the more complex programs where we never use all those fancy features.  I am not fully aware of Apple's "Contacts" program capabilities yet.
I run a small business and need some basic features such as being able to sort contacts based on City, type of client, or any other fields, so I can create reports and use the list for marketing purposes, etc.
I will greatly appreciate if anyone has suggestions on the following two items:
How to migrate my ACT contacts easity into either iCloud or on my new Mac?
Any tutorials that I can look at how small businesses are using the Mac contacts database?
Thank you so much for your help!

Daylite from Marketcircle is probaby the best bet: It's a full-fledged CRM solution.  It will work for a single person, though it's most targeted at small workgroups (5-50 people).

  • What is a good Contacts Manager for OS X 10.8.2?

    Hello,
I am looking for a contacts manager software that runs on Mountain Lion. Aside from features typically found in most databses, I am looking for a product that has the following features:
    - Can import/export existing data from external sources (i.e: mac contacts and calendar, excel)
    - Can track history of interactions with contacts (1. automatically get emails from macmail or othe mail service, 2. you can type in blurbs of a phone conversation, 3. you can type in "to do" items like tasks).
    - Can sort "latest activity" and "To do's" by contact.
I tested Time to note (www.timetonote.com), and although it has these features, they are only available online so you cannot export the history (only the static information like name, email, etc.)
    I'd appreciate any ideas.
    Thank you,
    Julio

I don't have that answer for you, but I'd try a utility such as OmniDiskSweeper(which you can find at versiontracker.com) to get a good look at where your space has run off.
My Library folder (at the root of my system) is about 5.6 GB. Applications: 5.3 GB Users is 33.4 GB and System is 4.5 GB

  • Business Contact Manager for Outlook 365

I have a laptop with 8.1 OS and Office 2013 loaded and running fine. Use Business Contact Manager on my laptop and it works fine.
Can do the all the same on Office 365 except for Business Contact Manager.  It is listed and shows up under Tasks but nothing happens when it is selected.

    Hi,
I think the "Office 365" in the second paragraph should be Outlook 2013 in this customer's post.
Please go to FILE -> Options -> Add-ins, check if BCM is disabled or inactive. Enable it and start Outlook again to check the result.

  • Business Contact Manager 2013

Where can I find or locate detailed installation, setup, and or configuration information for Business Contact Manager 2013?
Our existing shared database is located on a workstation but I would like to install and setup BCM Admin Tool onto one of our servers.
We have 25+ users accessing the shared database.

    HI,
I am also having trouble with BCM/Outlook 2013 on Windows 8.
We were previously running BCM/Outlook 2010 with no problems at all.  I then upgraded to OUtlook 2013 and BCM no longer worked.  After many attempts and suggested remedies BCM 2013 is still not working.
The problem I currently have is that when outlook starts BCM is not there because the add-in has been disabled (both BCM for outlook and BCM loader for outlook add ins).  I can go into the addins and enable them and BCM then works, but when I close
and re-open outlook the addins are once again disabled.
Also, when the addins are enabled and BCM is 'working', the BCM icon or title does not appear in the Peek bar (lower left hand side of outlook interface), I only get a folder.
I have tried the Regedit fix - no luck.
I have run the BCM2010-V4C-x86-en-US.exe patch - no luck.
I have installed the BCM 2013 tools on the server (shared db) - no luck
I have uninstalled all office and bcm instances from the machine and reinstalled only office and bcm 2013 (BCM2010-BCMSetup-x86-en-US) - no luck.
Can someone from Microsoft please assist with this issue as I have spent nearly 3 days trying to resolve it.
    Thanks, Joe.

  • Is there a product for the IMac that is essentially a sales contact software?  I am a user of ACT Contact Software for pcs

Is there a sales contact software (database) for the IMAC?  I have been using ACT Contact software for the pc for years.

There are numerous contact management applications. Not sure if one is specifically devoted to sales contacts, but you can look for what's available either at the App Store (if you have 10.6.6 or later installed) by clicking on the App Store icon in your Dock or in the Applications folder. You can also search at MacUpdate or CNET Downloads

  • Best Contact Management Software for Mac

I'm sure this question has been asked before but I can't find it anywhere. Plus, I'm not sure if I'm even in the right place. But, can you tell me what contact management software works the best for Mac?
Also, I'm new to using such software, is there anything specific I should be looking for when choosing one?
    Thanks!

I'm sorry to say there isn't much around. It has been a bit of a weak spot for Mac / OS X for ages - but things are possibly improving.
Any CRM solution for OS X needs really to co-operate with Address Book and iCal - so you can sync your stuff out to PDAs or whatever, and use them in Mail / iWork / Office 2008 etc. that are already written to work with such info in AB and iCal. If it doesn't, you end up with a closed-off app that can't easily work with you on the machine, and which then has to re-do code that already exists. Odd design constraints in earlier versions of iCal and AB made this harder - they were not very aware of other systems / apps. But this is changing in Leopard, and there are some promising things on the horizon (though none really useful solutions avail yet).
Of those out there, probably the best notional app is (in my view) Now Software's Nighthawk (http://www.nowsoftware.com/nighthawkSubsite/index.html). It is written by a team with a solid track record of CRM development on Macs, and is apparently designed to play nice with iSync and the rest. Trouble is it doesn't yet exist - rumours of a public Beta have been out there for months, but the date keeps slipping. Could be a good thing, or signs of major problems - who knows. Realistically you'll not see anything commercially viable from them before April next year I reckon.
But waiting could be good. The other attempt we've seen is SOHO Organizer by Chronos Software. (http://www.chronosnet.com/Products/sohoorganizer.html) In description it does the business - iSync / iCal / AB compatible. But it has had a troubled development, and there is lots of grim sounding reports of trouble with the app on the net. The developers are not very kind to themselves with not much disclosure and (at least last time a looked) a restrictive demo / preview policy (you get one trial period, and that's it, for ever! Even if they bring out a major version number change). My personal experience is that they tell a much better marketing story than they deliver in software - but I've steered clear of the app for a long time now (after a seriously bad experience) but who knows, they might well have caught up with their ambitions by now.
There are many others about that are really central web-based systems - which is fine provided you don't want to use Mail / AB / iCal or sync any of this to your phone / PDA / .Mac or whatever.
So, nothing much going on now. But ever hopeful...
If anyone knows more / other stuff - would be good to know about. We're still travelling hopefully.

  • Need comparable contact managament to Act by Sage that will synch with iphone

I am having trouble finding a contact management solution similar to Act (which, obnoxiously, does not synch with iphone). Most I am finding are too bloated and complex (ex. Salesforce). I need it to synch with my iphone and Entourage on my MacBook Pro. I am in sales, with an awful memory. I just need somthing to log all interactions with contacts. I do not need to run sales reports, handle campaigns, workflows, etc. Thanks!

Here are just a few suggestions others and by no means is exhaustive, I am sure others will weigh in.
-Just a cursory read of the support forum I have not seen overwhelming complaints that iPhone does not work with windows. It seems mac and windows work equally well with the iPhone
-Ringtones if you like ringtones and could see your self loading your iPhone up go with the mac. Garage Band gives you the ability to make ring tones from your own music collection for free. There are down loads like iToner etc that are unofficial ring tone makers so it makes it a little more difficult to you use.
-As long as memory of your devices exceeds 16 GB (which is as high as the iPhone goes) you will be able to take full advantage of your iPhone. Anything more will not make a difference.
-There is no heavy processing involved with your iPhone syncing to your desktop/laptop. What we are taking about is down loading contact lists music etc. No real graphics rendering is taking place. The iPhone is a seperate system you desktop/laptop to manage your iPhone for preferences downloads etc. So processing speeds do not matter that much.
-iPhone apps work with any iPhone regardless of what OS it is synced to. Even if you would like to use Mobile Me it can utilize some windows programs.
What I would do is figure out which or your personal computers you use most. Then I would set up a Mobile Me account then I would add all other computers you might use to sync with your Mobile Me account and this would solve all of your problems, for 99 bucks/year that is.

  • How to enter a contact's ext. # without auto-dialing it?

Is there a way to enter the extension for a contact's phone number when the company's phone system doesn't accept automated extension dialing? I used the proper procedure for adding an extension, but the switchboard operator picked up the phone as the extension was being dialed (after a pause), and she said I can't pre-program the extension. She said I have to call the main number and tell the operator the extension I want and then she'll connect me. I tried other methods of entering the extension without the pause technique, but I can't get "contacts" to accept it. Any tips? I just want to be able to list the person's extension next to their phone number for easy reference. Thanks in advance.

Same boat here -- lots of professional contacts who don't have automated extension dialing.
It appears the only solution is to save extension numbers in the Notes section, first line. Depending on how much info you have in the fields above, it may or may not appear without having to scroll down.
    Hope that helps.
