CRM BOM - in quotation

Hello
When creating a quotation, and adding a product which is a bom product, there in no bom explosion (we do not get all the related products).
In the ECC the explosion is happening.
the produccts were download to the crm and exist.
can you please advice me -what can we do to see the explosion???
The item categories are defined exactly as in teh ECC

I craeted a new z quotation and I assigned all teh relevant item categories/
I read an answer that was given to one of the wuestions in the furom.
I tried to add customization with teh same item category group but differnet item category ( i thought that may be the problem) and i'm getting a red notification that the same customization is found but it's not!!!
for example:
i have custonization:
transaction type: zqtu:
item category group: zkcm
main category group: zkcm
item category: zqhc
i want to add another item category for other related product and i can not do it/
do u think this is the problem??

Sales BOM in Quotation

Hi Friends..
In my existing ERP i am configuring Quotation scenario.
I am now able to process all the functionality of Quotation, but for SALES BOM.
I am unable to explode sales BOM in Quotation.
Can anybody advice me whether Quotation can be with Sales BOM or Not?? if it is possible then i am using LUMF Category group for the BOM in Sales Order, and it is giving me the perfect results as required.
Now can anybody help me in customizing the Item category in Quotation for SALES BOM Exlosion??

The customizing of item categories depends on which item u want to be priced (main item or subitems).
check these things:
1. in VOV4 for main item category: check the extent of explosion in BOM structure scope field.
since you are using main item category group as LUMF
the standard setting in system is that main item is not priced and sub items are priced
sales doc typeLUMF__+__>>TAP (not relv for pricing) - Main item
sales doc typeNORM__+TAP>>TAN (Relv for pricing) - sub items
ensure that the respective item category groups are set in Material master record(view sales:sales org:2)

Transfer of changed order BOM from quotation to sales order

Good morning!
Please consider the following scenario involving variant configuration:
A quotation is raised in the system, and the values of the characteristics are assigned. Therefore a order BOM is generated (for the quotation), and that order BOM is changed manually using tcode CU51 (for cost estimates purposes). When it is saved, the system updates the BOM in the quotation automatically (ok, this is a desired behavior).
Although when we create an sales order with reference to that quotation, the newly chnaged order BOM is not copied to this new order, the order BOM is redetermined instead.
How can I make the system to copy it from the quotation properly?

Thanks for the reply. I have verified this note and it seems more toward the BOM explosion in the sales documents themselves than for the modifications made afterwards (CU51 changes in BOM, for example).
After realizing that, I´ve made a little research and found the Order Engineering Workbench possibility, which seems to fulfill all our requirements regarding this point. I looked all over SDN and haven't found too much input about it. In the SAP VC book, says it is not part of the SAP ERP, but a add-on.
So, you don't happen to have any idea of how can we check if it is activated / installed in our system or not? We are on version 5.0.

Creation of muliple schedule lines in CRM 5.0 Quotation

Hello all,
We are implementing CRM 5.0. In quotations, whenever I try to create more than one schedule line, I get an error saying that only one schedule line is allowed. However, I may have a scenario where customer says that out of total 100 tonnes, he wants 25 tonnes on a particular date and 75 tonnes on a later date. How do I ensure this? Help will be greatly appreciated.

What is the full error message text? message ID?
As I tested in a system, which seems to be okay to create more than one schedule line.
I only managed to find one error message:
CRM_SCHEDLIN_I 312
Only one schedule line per item is possible for configurable products
If your case is for configurable products, then this is standard behaviour, was introduced by note 608860.

How to mark product mandatory in SAP CRM Opprotunity and Quotation?

Hello All,
We are using SAP CRM 4.0 and have one requirement as follows:
Through Configuration ,I am not able to find the the way to mark mandatory for the fields Product , Description,Quantity,Exp.total Value under the Products Tab for the Opportunity. Also the field product under products Tab for the Quotation.
Can this be done through Config or Technically? please provide the steps for the needful and also advise do i need to put this at header or item level?

Tax Conditions types not appearing in CRM orders and quotations

Hello All,
I have created a new tax condition type in ECC and through initial load replicate the same to CRM. pricing procedure repliction with new tax condition is also successful.
But, the new tax condition is not appearing in condition tab at item level when i create quotation in CRM. other condition types are coming. data for this condition type is there in custom condition table. mapping of tax classifiction to tax group is also done in SPRO.
Please advise.

Hello Sudhir,
You should check the trace log for pricing at first. Set the user parameter:PRC_TRACE as 'X' on T-cd:SU01 for your user and check the Access analysis on the condition tab.

CRM 70 WebUI: Quotation Search / Status / CRM_ORDER_INDEX STAT_QUOT

Hi all,
at the moment we have the following issue the quotation search in the CRM Web UI.
We can create correctly the quotation in the CRM Web UI, it is corretly released and replicated to SAP ERP as quote, however it then does not appear in the Quotation Search and Result List in the WebUI (in SAPGUI it is OK), but in the order search
Having looked in the CRM_ORDER_INDEX the field STAT_QUOT is not marked (which seems to be the search criteria used in the Web UI) and also the report CRM_INDEX_REBUILD did not help.
As quotation position we use the standard "AGN" position marked with "2-Relevant for quote".
Is there any new flag / field in CRM 7.0 (as we upgraded from CRM2007 we did not have the issue there.)

If so,Please let me know how to do it?
For sales BOM, we'll use the T.code CS01 and the BOM Usage will be 5: SD But in order to trigger Production BOM , what has to be done.

BOM in Quotation

Hi Experts,
I have this scenario where I have to go with cost condition VPRS as mandatory and manual for all the line items and also I have to use bom item in Quotation document. Once the Quotation is completed , The same has to copy into OR . Is this scenario possible without any enhancements and also from SD consultant what Inputs I have to give.
Since its Bom item the Header item cost should be priced but not the components(in quotation) ,which Item catagory group I have to take 0001 or ERLA or Lumf? and out of components 2 out of 4 are make to order items.

Replication of Quotations from ECC to CRM

Hello Experts,
The scenario is as follows:
I am required to replicate all the quotations from ECC to CRM.
My question is: what are the various middleware settings to be done?
I have created a transaction type for quotation by the same name in ECC and CRM so far.
It would be great if I can get help on the following:
1. What are the item categories that I need to maintain on both ECC and CRM side for Quotation?
2.What action profile do I need to maintain on ECC and CRM side for quotation?
3.How should the number ranges be defined on ECC and CRM side for quotation?
4. Do I need to do a Cross-Copy Control of quotation from ECC and CRM at the transaction and item category level?
5. Do I need to assign the Quotation Type (ECC) to ERP Profile on CRM side?
6.Can the transfer of quotations from ECC to CRM happen only after replicating the product and customer data from ECC to CRM?
What more needs to be done?
Once the settings are complete and fool-proof, I know I can run an Initial Load (R3AS) on the object: SALESDOCUMENT from R/3 to CRM.
What are the filter settings to be maintained in SalesDocument Object?
Experts, this is my requirement and all the pointers would be greatly helpful.

>> Action profile settings are specific to your business scenario. You need to define ACTION Profile in ECC. In CRM you can have an ACTION PROFILE and assign it to the CRM Transaction Type
3.How should the number ranges be defined on ECC and CRM side for quotation?
>> If ECC is a leading system for quotation creation, the number range will be EXTERNAL in CRM and assign this EXTERNAL number range for CRM Quotation Transaction Type

>> Yes
5. Do I need to assign the Quotation Type (ECC) to ERP Profile on CRM side?
>> Not sure on this. Requesting other experts to answer this.

>> Yes. The master data such as Material, Customer, Pricing should be downloaded to CRM, if the quotation needs to be replicated to CRM.

Sales BOM Quotation Can't be Rejected

Hi Experts,
I want to Reject a Sales Quotation which is having a Sales BOM. Even if I put the reason for Rejection on the Reason for Rejection Tab its not working. Still I am able to create a Sales Order based on the Rejected Quotation.
This issue is only for BOM normal Quotation I can Reject. Its working perfectly.

Once tthe Draft Quotation was changed and resaved are you sure it was saved as a draft again ???? or was it saved as a final document. Only when you save the draft document as a final document it cannot be seen in the draft document list.

External product configurator within a CRM-ERP LORD2 scenario?

Is it possible to use an external product configurator within a CRM-ERP LORD2 scenario?
My customer has a running webshop with an own configuration UI (java based) which is connected through badis with the ECC.
And now we implemented in SAP CRM the ERP Quotation.
Instead of rebuilding the varionatfunctions ord attributes seting the customer thinks about to intgrate the existing "konfigurator" of his web shop.
Is there anyone who knows the interface
Basic Functions -> Product Configuration -> Settings for External Configurators.

Hi Stuart,
You have to notice that in order to user R/3 BOM in CRM,
you have to download object BOM (tcode R3AC1).
But downloading object BOM into CRM only possible if
your R/3 is Retail scenario (unfortunetly mine is not).
Next thing I am going to test is, create Knowledge Base
in R/3 (choosing the type = BOM). after that in CRM
download using standard configurable object SCE.
If this successfull, we can see the configurable in
the Material Master CRM.
I am going to try this in couple days, please try it
first and let me know the result.

CRM Table for Condition Type value

Can you please let me know the table name from where I can get the value of the pricing condition EK02 in CRM.
I have a document number from which i can manage to get the item guid. From this I need to get the value of the EK02 condition type that we can see from the Item Condition screen.
Hence i need a table which maintains a relation between Item Guid + EK02 + value.

My requirement is that I want to dynamically update the EK02 value when a quotation is sent for costing. In CRM, costing is not in standard for quotations. Hence I want to call the costing module of CO from CRM when a quotation is saved, this module will return me the EK02 value. So with the quotation screen open, will the data be available in some buffer so that I can pump in this value to the pricing structure?
I also came accross the function modules which aid in updating pricing elements of an order. Some of them are as below:

CRM Leasing - BRI (Billing Request Item) net value is "0"

In CRM Leasing, while quotation is created BRIu2019s (Billing Request Items) are generated. But these BRIu2019s are currently generated with net value u201CZerou201D. There are generated based on Cash Flow.
Can anyone help me understand why the net value is zero in all the BRI's generated in Quotation?
