Your input is very much appreciated.

M +49 160 90819696 I mailto:[email protected] I http://www.sap.deHello,
I think you're missing one setup step in the client-side groupware integration: the customizing.
In SPRO>CRM>CRM Middleware and related comp-->Settings for client-based synchronization.
The reason why your reply button is inactive is probably due to the missing custo setting. In the custo activity mentioned above you must specify which transaction types you'll use for incoming and outgoing e-mails. If eg the outgoing email transaction type is disabled, the buttons on the screen to send an outgoing e-mail (reply) will also be disabled.
P.S. The setup of client-based groupware integration is also described in building block C31 Activity Management (chapter 3.6) of the SAP best practices on help.sap.com. An installation guide is also available on service.sap.com.
Hope this helps,
Kind regards,

Crm IC Webclient Integration with MS Exchange
Hi
Can someone please help me with configuration/customization documents on crm IC Webclient Integration with MS Exchange. Please email me at [email protected]
Thanks
AbhijitHi,
Telephone is PBX system. In order to connect the telephone system to SAP Phone(CRM system), you need CTI Server. CTI enables the integration to ICI of CRM System using XML/SOAP protocols.
ANI module is a part of the Telephone system which enables to identify the customer number in CRM application. In other words, as you said, it is the phone system passing the phone no. of the calling person to CRM system. CAD generated on the IVR module part of telephone system).
CTI transfers the CAD to CRM and BP is displayed in the Interaction Center.
Hope this helps your understanding. Please give points if so.
Thanks,

Hi All,
We are using Staging Environment version of Oracle CRM On demand.
I find description about Oracle CRM On Demand Integration package which can creates a seamless front- and back-office user experience with prebuilt integrations between Oracle CRM On Demand and Oracle E-Business Suite, Siebel CRM, and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
Do we have to pay for this package, if do, how much?
I can't find any price information on oracle website.
Thanks!Hi, Yes it is paid and has its own technical pre-requisites to deploy and use the same. I believe you may have to speak to your Oracle sales representative to get the pricing related info

Create URL to specific Business Object for a CRM using Portal integration
Hello CRM Community,
we're using the CRM Portal integration. To update our business users with tasks we use the standard functionality to send Alerts using the function module SALRT_CREATE_API. It allows to specify a URL that is added to the E-Mail created in the alert using the Table parameter IT_ACTIVITIES. This URL should be filled with a direct link to the business object that must be changed. For the stand-alone CRM there is the static Method CREATE_URL of the class CL_CRM_WEB_UTILITY to build such an URL. But I was not able to find a similar class/method/function module when the CRM is used integrated in the portal. Has anyone a simmilar requirement and was able to solve it?
Best regards

CRM - SCM-APO integration - TPOP
Hi all, i have TPOP (Third Party Order Processing) scenario which involves CRM and APO integration. I create a sales order and this triggers a planned purchase order in SCM APO. How do i find that planned purchase order in SCM APO?
Hi Animesh
If you do not know what the order number that was created then you can go into the product view to find the order. As you are aware this transaction is by product (also enter location and version 000). Press enter and do not press the Create Order button. This takes you into a screen where all elements for the product are shown. You will need to know what date the order was created on then you can find it. Since you are looking for planned purchase orders these should come into APO as planned requisitions in which case your order should appear with either 'PurRqs' or 'SNP: PReq' in the Category column. I believe if you double click into the order you can see all of the products.
If you do know the order number (maybe sales order is updated in CRM?) then use transaction /sapapo/rrp2.
Be sure that you are looking for purchase orders and not planned orders - the method to view them will be the same just different categories in the categories column.

HCM CRM 7.0 Integration: Some of the employee missing
Hi Expert,
We did the HCM and CRM7.0 integration, the org, position and most of the employees have been downloaded to CRM successfully. But one tricky problem here, we suddenly find 1 employee is missing in CRM. Checked in the download program report, the certain employee has been replicated with green light but without a CRM number.
Does anyone know what's the problem here? Thanks for your help in advance.
Rgs, MichelleHi Michelle,
There are multiple scenarios to your issue.
1: Some data may not be maintained in HCM or the employee record may not be active in HCM.
2: Check in CRM using PP01 if the central person record is created or not. If central person record is not there, than employee record is not coming over to CRM via ALE. So you have to investigate why is that happening.
3: If the Central Person is there but the employee BP ID is not there, use the report RHRHDL00 in CRM to delete the central person.
4: Send the record again using PFAL and the record shall come over and the BP ID shall be created.
Thanks,

ECC 5.0 and CRM 7.0 Integration Questions
Hello,
We are on ECC 5.0 and are part of a global implementation that is putting in CRM 7.0.
We have a couple of issues/questions.
1. We want to integrate ECC Internal Orders with CRM Contracts and Orders. However we don't see the ECC Internal Order type SAPS in ECC 5.0. What release/plugin would give us SAPS Internal order type
2. We currently use CS and PM in ECC, and we have equipment and func. locations. Do we need to be on a certain version/plugin to integrate Equipment and Func. Locations with CRM iBase?
3. Any tips/suggestions on integrating Vertex with CRM for taxes.
Thanks
chrisHi
Here are the Answers
1. We want to integrate ECC Internal Orders with CRM Contracts and Orders. However we don't see the ECC Internal Order type SAPS in ECC 5.0. What release/plugin would give us SAPS Internal order type
- This is release indepedant- It is been available from R/3 4.7 so you should have it, if you dont have an SAPS order type, you have 2 options
1. Create your own SAPS Order type
2. Define RFC from Client "000" and push the order type. This must be available in "000" as a standard delivery, may be your Basis did not move the order types properly.
2. We currently use CS and PM in ECC, and we have equipment and func. locations. Do we need to be on a certain version/plugin to integrate Equipment and Func. Locations with CRM iBase?
Yes you can have the equipment and Functional Locations, but for FLocs to download to CRM you need ECC6.0 with Sp6 anything below cannot be integrated or downloaded with CRM7.0 .. for Equipments any versions are fine and you do all configuration and customization in CRM
3. Any tips/suggestions on integrating Vertex with CRM for taxes.
Its a broad question, SAP provides standard integration option to vertex, and you integrate as needed..
let me know if you need anything else. -
Dear All,
We are planning to implement Groupware integration in our CRM production system. Is it necessary to have CRM server and Exchange server in the same domain ? Please suggest us .
Thanks
RajHi All,
I have installed GW connector in the same server where CRM is running. The GW connector services in the services.msc is running fine and i have configured for MAPBOX in the portal system . The MAPBOX RFC is also working fine in crmabap system(backend) . MS Exchange server is running in the different box but in the same domain. In short the backend system, Portal system,Exchange server all in same domain.
Testing strategy : Client needs a mail of the activity ( meeting, order ...) in his outlook once they create the same in Portal system.
But it's not happening.
Scot - Mail configuration has been done and while doing GW adaptor configuration in tcode " CRM_EMAIL_OUTLOOK" , it generates a URL ...(result of the tcode )
Copy the following URL and assign it to the required Microsoft Outlook
folder:
o Open the folder context menu
o Choose "Properties"
o Choose "Homepage"
o Insert the URL
o Set the flag "Show homepage by default for this folder"
URL:
http://<FQDN>:<PORT>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_gw_integ/gw_int
egration.do?meth=outlook&sap-client=200&sap-language=E
Where i need to assign this URL ? In Outlook folder of each customer system PC ?
Please help me to resolve this issue. Let me know if you need any inputs from me.
Thanks

CRM 3.0 integration with ECC 6.0
Hi all, I wanted to confirm if CRM 3.0 can be integrated with ECC 6.0
If yes, then which support pack, etc. will be applicable and what all issues could be encountered in integration?
Thanks in advance.Hi Animesh,
just to be clear.
the CRM and the backend ECC60 are communicating via Plug -ins
you can read more information here
http://service.sap.com/r3-plug-in
http://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000601131&
The other SP level of the systems (BASIS etc.) are independent.
Once you could conect the systems at basis level. You can begin your work at
Application level.
Whether you can have problems here please ask the CRM Gurus in a separate therad in other forum.
I Hope I have answered all of your questions.
Kind regards

Baskar.SHi,
The short Answer is that whether the integration is SOD or SOP, COD remains the same. It is only how the customer interfaces into COD.
1) Is there a recommended Approach/methodology for migrating the SOD-CCOD integration setup to SOP-CCOD 8.1.3 Whatever methodology is normally used to migrate a customer from SOD to SOP would apply. However either OCS or a partner would need to be engaged to integrate SOP to COD
2) Can any component (work item) of the existing SOD-CCOD interface ( CCA configuration, user profile configuration, etc) be reused in the new CCOD-SOP migration or the entire CCOD-SOP interface needs to be rebuild afresh after the SOD to SOP application migrationAgain COD remains the same. It is only how the customer interfaces into COD so all the configurations will not change (agents projects groups skills etc.)
3)What are the key variable that impact the effort of such a migration/rebuilt of SOP-CCOD 8.1.3 integrationThe key issues are the migration from SOD to SOP and engaging OCS to do the integration
4)Any practical issues/challenges etc that should be considered for such an integrationI am not aware of any
5)Any documents/links around any of these would be highly appreciated.
I am not aware of any
Thanks,
