View CRM document in ECC through document flow

Hi ,
we have a requirement where we need to show a CRM document in document flow of another document in ECC. There is no replication for these documents. I also need to display the CRM document in ECC when it is selected from document flow.
Can any one please help on this?

This is all going to be custom development but here is the idea:
In theory, you can read the docflow of the CRM parent document (which is in ECC) by an RFC into CRM and get the subsequent documents. The major assumption I am making here is simple: the docflow is established between the parent and the child in CRM.
Once you have the docflow, you can show the document numbers in the R/3 and again access the individual documents and show relevant header and item details of the "CRM" docment in the ECC screen.
FYI, an exactly "reverse" feature is available in CRM Web Channel (E-Commerce application). Here, you can see the Invoice details in the web, even though the billing documents are never replicated from ECC. We even see the document flow about the Shipping documents (Deliveries).

Using doc number you can access CRMD_ORDERADM_H-OBJECT_ID = DOCNUM.
CRMD_ORDERADM_I-HEADER = CRMD_ORDERADM_H--GUID.
The material is in CRMD_ORDERADM_I.

I agree with Michael, well that's from my experience.
What you need to do in CRM download Customizing Object
(tcode R3AC3) and download Business Object for
MATERIAL (tcode R3AC1). To start download use R3AS.
If you set the range of material you need to download
into CRM (in Business Object MATERIAL), you don't need
to run this steps everytime. It will happend automatically
I am not saying that downloading product from R/3 without
any problem. At first time, you will face that some
object need to be downloaded properly before you can
download Material (first download customizing object).
And you need to prepare Org Model in CRM also in order
to use these products in CRM transaction later.
These are basic steps need to be done (once) before
you can proceed to use it in any CRM document/transaction.

Not sure if any of the alternatives to Office (word) for Mac are near the feature set you require.
There are a few listed here at this page, in some ways aren't exactly like Office or Word; the feature you seek may (or may not) exist. I'd try & see about neooffice compatibility...

How to show CRM documents into Portal KM repository

Hi all,
I would like to be able to <b>show CRM documents</b> (for Business Transactions / Business Partners ) <b>into the Portal</b> via WebDAV.
What configurations do I have to do in :
1) CRM
2) Portal
I've already searched sdn for this topic, but maybe I'm using the wrong keywords, didn't find much ... a manual or how/to, interesting links would be very helpfull !

I started with testing on documents for business partners because this is a standard supported flow. Then I extended to non-standard supported business transactions
In brief, for business partners , in CRM system I
-Setup the HTTP Service in the Internet Communication Manager
-Maintaining WebDAV Hierarchies
and in portal I :
--Setup the HTTP Data Source
-Setup the Memory Cache ( choose existing one )
-Created WebDAV Repository Manager
-Created an Index for the CRM Document Repository

Extract CRM document Relation (table CRMD_BINREL)

Dear Sirs,
are there any standard extractors which gives you the linkage between CRM "documents".
The table CRMD_BINREL contains colums ROLE_A, ROLE_B and RELATIONID which are relevant for the linkage between the "documents". In order to get a meaning out the of these fields the full linkage below is used.
I have found that linkage can be found through the following tables: CRMDORDERADM_H (to find GUID)- SRRELROLES (to find ROLE ID)- CRMD_BINREL (to find relation) - SRRELROLES (to find ROLE ID)- CRMDORDERADM_H

Though I myself have not tried deleting any existing Doc Flow, but you can try using the Function Module: CRM_DOC_FLOW_UPDATE_DU.
If you get a better option please share.

I have created a service request using FM: 'CRM_ICSS_SRVREQ_CREATE'
via my own web application ( BSP Application ), which dispalys these details at the frontend.
If one user modify some of the fields of the document at the UI level
"eg: user changes the status of the document.
I want to bring them into CRM Tables.. I know that it is possible through updating CRM tables manually!. but I would like to know if there is any sort of FM or better option for doing the same.

Most of the replication of documents from CRM to ECC is done via the messaging BDOCs which are in CRM Middleware.The analysis of these will give you the mapping of fields.
Some general rules in identifying tables in CRM.
CRMM - tables starting prefix M is for Master data
CRMD - tables starting prefix D is for the Document data or transaction data
CRMC - tables starting prefix C are for customizing data
for example,
CRMD_ORDERADM_H contains transaction data for transaction types (document types)

Move CRM Documents to Documentum

Hi Experts,
In Rel 1 of our project, we had implemented crm 5.0 and many of the complaint transactions had been associated with Document attachments which had been saved directly in SAP. However, now the link with Documentum has been established and the system has been so configured that on saving documents for a Complaint, these are directly stored in documentum. However, a problem which has come up is that, for the existing documents, clicking on the links to display the documents no longer works and the message 'Error in displaying documents' is displayed on clicking the document link. The requirement is to programatically move the existing documents from their current location into documentum. However, I am unable to retrieve the document contents using the methods of the class CL_CRM_DOCUMENTS. Any suggestions regarding the approach for making this work out?

SAP CRM DECOUPLING - NEEDS BAPI AND RFC HELP

Rt now we are working on Decoupling project.I will explain you the            scenario .
           Client has sap 4.6 C and CRM 2.0 connected with CRM middleware.
           Client is upgrading SAP 4.6 C to ECC 6.0 but not upgrading crm2.0 .
           Therefore ECC 6.0 will not suport middleware and we need to restore the connection                   between SAP ecc 6.0 and crm 2.0 without using middleware.
           we will be using bdc rfc bapi and idoc and change pointers to establish the connection            and restore the data flow.
           Can anyone help me if you have some idea i need the bapi or function module that is used for            creating products in CRM 2.0 .

Steps for Extracting data from CRM:
Configuration Steps
1.Click on ->Assign Dialog RFC destination
If your default RFC destination is not a dialog RFC destination, you need to create an additional dialog RFC destination in addition and then assign it to your default RFC destination
2.Execute Transaction SBIW in CRM
3.Open BC DataSources.
4.Click on Transfer Application Component Hierarchy
Application Component hierarchy is transferred.
5.SPRO in CRM .Go to CRM->CRM Analytics
6.Go to transaction SBIW-> Settings for Application specific Data Source ->Settings for BW adapter
7.Click on Activate BW Adapter Metadata
Select the relevant data sources for CRM sales
8.Click on Copy data sources
Say yes and proceed
9.Logon to BW system and execute transaction RSA1.
Create a source system to establish connectivity with CRM Server
A source system is created. (LSYSCRM200)(Prerequisites: Both BW and CRM should have defined Back ground, RFC users and logical systems)
10.Business content activation for CRM sales area is done
11.Click on source system and choose replicate datasources.
