CRM employee (business partner) & org unit extraction question

Hi all,
I have a question regarding extracting business partner and org unit in CRM. Basically user wants to report on employee level and org unit level.
When I looked at the org unit hierarchy datasource (0BBP_ORGUNIT_HR01_HIER), it does not include the employee. I also tried the DS 0BP_UNAME_ORGUNIT_ATTR, but that does not give me the org unit of an employee.
Any hint is highly appreciated.

Try this DS 0CRM_POSITION_ATTR,here u will get the org.unit,but u need to add the users (employees) in the data source.

Assigning new employee to a org unit manager

Once I had closed all the milestones of the firt implementation project(1. Design Accepted - 2 Solution Accepted - 3 Go Live Readness Acceptance) and tested some cenarios I found an error in the organization structure. To solve this problem I created a new Job D a new employee and had tried to assign this new employee as an org unit manager. The problem is that whem I Open the field " Select Organizational Unit Manager" the system does not show this new employee that I just have created. Does anybody knows whats is wrong? That´s the problem.
I can´t assign this new employee to the org unit.
The system does not list the new employees to be assigned. Only the old employees are listed.
I´m in the first implementation Project and i closed all the milestones.
Do you know if it can cause these problens?
Should I open a new Project?

Function Module for fnding all employees under an Org Unit

Is there any Function module to find the employees of an ORG Unit .
I need to specify the Org unit Name and get the employees out of it .
I looked at the FM
HRCM_ORGUNIT_EMPLOYEE_LIST_GET .
It has import parameters as
OTYP
OBJID
PATH_ID
What values do i need to pass.

How to total No. of employees based on Org unit as well as Job ID in ALV

Hi Sarika,
Create an additional column in your output for integer field and populate the same with value 1 fro each row.
Then, SORT the internal table by Org. Unit and Job and perform sum operation on the column for integer field.
You can SORT by adding fields to the IT_SORT parameter in REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY and mark the DO_SUM in the new integer column fieldcatalog entry.

Employee business partner ID showing up in "Service Team" column of query

Hey everyone,
We have a strange problem appearing in our Solution Manager. In workcenter, when we build a query that shows the "Service Team" column we find that while the "Support Team" shows up for most of the results (which is correct) a few of the results displays employee business partner IDs instead (despite the message having Support Teams assigned to them).
Through investigation we've found out that all of these business partners are assigned to roles in the message (reported by, message processor, functional analyst etc etc.) Interesting to note that the business partner ID showing up in the "Service Team" column is always the LAST business partner record on the "Business Partner" tab of the message.
So if the business partner tab looks like this:
Partner Function       Partners
Reported by              A1
Support Team           B1
Message Processor C1
Functional Analyst    D1
D1 would show up in the Service Team column despite there being a Support Team assigned. If a new partner is assigned and a new record appears below the Functional Analyst D1 record, that new partner's ID appears in the "Service Team" column instead.
Does anyone have an idea of why this could be happening to these few recordcs and how to ensure the "Support Team" is the value showing up in the "Service Team" column?

Hi,
You can go to the infoobject setting RSD1 and check the help f4 attributes and select only those which you want. this afect for infoobject 0COSTCENTER not for any specific query.

I would like to extract the complete Business Partner (BP) information in CRM onto application server in csv format.
Could you pls let me know if there are any standard programs or Function Modules which helps me to extract complete data.

Thank you for your suggestions. Those pointers helped me to resolve this. Retrieving the Logical Document Id is also good.
I called the FM you suggested using the PARTNER_GUID from BUT000 in field BUSINESS_OBJECT-INSTID and with TYPEID='BUS1006' and CATID='BO'. This returned the Document links and I was able to get the Properties by calling SDOK_LOIO_PROPERTIES_GET.

I would like to print a document in wich will be Business Partner attributes and other crmdata. Does anybody know how I can read the Business Partner marketing attributes. Can I use for this some function modules or else?
Are there some documentations about all Function modules in CRM and what they do?

Marketing attributes of a BP can be found in table AUSP.
You can build your own custom function module to read marketing attributes.

CRM based Business Partner Reporting for Retailers

Hello,
has anyone build a Business Partner Reporting based on CRM Data?
We want to report roles, relations, marketing etc.
What is the basic datamodel you use? Do you save Data in ODS using InfoSet or do you use InfoCubes or else?
At the moment we use ODS and InfoSet but we are facing timeouts and performance problems when there are too many business partners chosen.

Hi!
you have to use ODS objects for loading data into BW no alternative available.
I think you have to solve performance problems by fine tuning the system or by changing the datamodel.

Initial Load of IS-U business partners to CRM - wrong business partner cat

when donwloading CUSTOMER_MAIN from R/3 to CRM
Where is determined that the business partner in CRM should be created in the business partner category 'Person'?
We have the problem that all our business partners in CRM are now 'Organizations' (but were sold-to-parties in R/3 with account group DEBI)
PIDE - setting is:
R/3 account group DEBI ---> classisifaction 'B' ('Customer')
In the customizing of the business partner roles for the role type CRM000 (and for all the others) Organization, Person and Group is all allowed by default.
The download itself and the number ranges work fine.

The reason for the problem is unknown but a workaround is to first initial load BUPA_MAIN instead of CUSTOMER_MAIN, then the right business partner category is taken by the system

How to deassign a employee from a Org. unit by using function module?

I want to deassign an employee from an orgnization unit in Org. model. Though I know I can do it manually in Org. Model. But since the number is big, I want to do it by using report. So do you which function module I can use to do it?

In MSS, Other than Manager to access the employee in the Org Unit

Hi all,
IN our current project, for MSS, Head of the Org Unit (A/B 012) triggers the Personnel Change request, First Level Approver (HR-Partner from Custom Infotype) approves the PCR and Admin process the PCR.
Now the requirement is changed... HR-Partner needs to trigger the PCR, followed by Approval from head of Org Unit and Admin to process the PCR.
For the HR Partner to view the Position in the Org.Unit or only the positions,
We can have custom A/B Z12 between HR-Partner Posiiton and Org Unit
OR
We can have custom A/B Z02 between HR-Partner Position and reporting postions.
Now What are all the required OADP configuration required to Allow the HR-Partner position to view the reportees and create and submits PCRs for them..

yes this all comes to the evaluation path a user has he neednt be a manager, in OM, he can be another user with extra structural authorisation like HR admin,
so change in T77AW and assign them in OADP.

How to transfer the employees from one org unit to another org unit in OM.

I have a task of changing the employees, Positions & Jobs, from one Organization Unit to another Org unit, in the OM. I have around 50 position & Jobs and employees to be moved. Please suggest me how do I go about.
I tried doing through PPOME (Org. and Staffing) but it is a lengthy procedure please suggest if there is an alternate option to do so in OM.

First of all I recommend to open a new discussion and not to post in a old-date one.
Anyway, You can do it either PA40 or OOPME.
In PA40 you should select an appropriate action like :Org. Change", "Promotion" and so on. In fact it depends what do you have in you action list.
In PPOME you can do it by drag and drop also. Just take care about effective date. First you should select the right date in top of the screen.

Need FM for Org Mannagement, Employees from lower org units

hi,
I have a person/manager suppose in Org Unit 'A' from whome I need to find out employeees belonging to org units at lower level to 'A'.
Now I also have to check that I should get employees of the lower org units till I get a org unit with manger position if manager position is available stop otherwise need to keep searching the lower level org units.
I am in search of any function module available for such requirement.
Please reply me if anyone has any idea on this.

Let me explain the problem again.
I´m in the transaction BP of the CRM and want to create a Business Partner. In the transaction BUS7 I have the opportunity to call an own function module at special events. For example at the event DSAVE. My own funtion module will be called if I´m creating a Business Partner. The problem I have is that I cannot read the data of which made in the transaction. The function modules you can use don´t support any interface. I just have to read one field. The postal code, but i don´t know how to do it.

Thanks for your fast reply.
I found this table before.But i do not have idea of passing what paramters to get my specific org and position of an employee data from this table.
Let say i know my BP number for employee and Username of him.
i could find out his Obj id using EMP user name.
When i look into table HRP1001 using above Obj id, i could see there are 3 entries exist in table , among one of them is talking about position as
Sclas = S and SOBID = 50020832.
So how would i know by having this number , is it dealing with position and what kind of position it is,,,whether a manager or something else?
Hope you got me.
Basically am aslo looking for a FM where in i cold porvide aBP number or EMP username, where inturn i ll get a Emp position his org details.
