SAP SD + CRM training & certifications
Dear all,
I am new to this forum & i am interested in getting through SAP SD and SAP CRM certifications, i am a little confused about the timeline for the courses, i will break my doubts into points:
1) Is SAP SD training/certification necessary in order to go through CRM training?
2) What kind of functional experience is necessary for both the certifications? How does inside sales profile (with exposure to CRM system) stand as far as domain experience is concerned?
3) Should i go for Back to back training's of SD & CRM or should i work in SD profile for some time & then opt for CRM? How will the back to back training affect, both positively as well as negatively?
4) Also, instead of SDCRM, will SDMM or SD+PP certification path be better? (i only have sales & marketing exp, no MM or PP exp)
5) I noticed that CRM course is Instructor based & it is for 15 days, other functional courses such as SD,MM,FI etc are 25 days, what might be the difference?
6) The CRM course is quite expensive, INR 3,30,000 ($7000+), is it worth to invest in an authorized CRM program?
7) Apart from the authorized training programs, where else can i get additional knowledge on SD & CRM? Also, i believe that its difficult to know all the business processes in your respective domain, how can i enhance my knowledge on this?
8) What is the difference between CRM 7 & CRM 2007 certifications?
i know i have asked a lot of questions under one post, but i would really appreciate advice on these questions
Thanks a lot in advance.

<b>@</b>Defenitely i appreciate your inputs with <b><u>Reward Points</u></b> <b>:)</b>
Regards, SrikanthHi Srikanth,
I am certified in CRM ISA, and I 'm planning to get another certification.
Possible suggestions:
study carefully the manual, since the questions are closed, and you can choose among 3 out of 5 possibilities. You know that 3 are true meanwhile 2 are false.
It's very important to know English grammar
There are as well special questions where you are allowed to choose just one option.
Please check as well:

In any case another piece of advice is to set up practise a lot with Ides system, which is the "test company", created by SAP for its test evinroement.
Pls rewards with points if it helps.

Study source for 1Z0-051 exam Oracle11g SQL Fundamentals certification
Greetings,
What are some good sources for this exam that are legit. I have the OCA/OCP Oracle Database 11g All-in-One Exam guide, read the whole section regarding SQL and have practiced the test questions until I scored 100% multiple times. Yet (with all humility), I failed the exam. I don't want to cheat and will keep trying until I pass it the right way! I'm going to keep studying the areas I need to really master., but I noticed that the real Exam was nothing like the practice exam. For me, the real exam was a lot trickier and there were a few questions that the book didn't cover. The guy working at the test center recommended testking but upon further research, some sites consider using testking as cheating. I have not purchased any new study guides and would like feedback to some legit study guides. Is the transcender study guide legit and worth it? Please pardon me if this question has been asked a dozen times. I will scour the forums for more info regarding this but also wanted some direct feedback.
Thank you,

Rene,
Thanks for the link and the advice. Very helpful! And yes, it got to the point where I knew some of the answers before I finished reading the questions.
Thanks,
A monI was going to say possibly the cheapest way is buy the sybex Book : ISBN-13: 9780470395127 which is like the Watson Book ... but it isn't that cheap andalso coves 1z0-052 which you don't need.
( Selftest Sofware is reputed to be good, Transcender a little better (they are both Kaplan Brans and overlap common material). Ucertify may be cheapter but quality may be less. And make sure you get the right site and not a phishing link pretending to be them.
.... wsa it you who i said to try the exam and see where you were really at ? .. if so sorry and better luck next time. Perhaps though it is an opportunity to revise study technique.
See: http://blogs.oracle.com/certification/entry/question_of_the_day_how_to_pre
.... Doing your own flash cards and notes can be useful.
I always regard practice questions as precious and leave it as late as possible in study before doing questions.
(If you must peek ahead choose a chapter just before half way through the book and do end of chapter questions for that only).
But I won't even do end of chapter practice questions until I think I know the whole exam topics and have notes on all the material.
Only when I think I know it all will I do even end of chapter questions.
And I wont do them if I have read up on the topics during the day. I will wait until the next day.
And after doing end of chapter results I re-read the chapter and topics and practice. But I wont redo those questions for a few days
And only when I get good enough practice score from the chapter do I take a full practice test.
Basic principle is concentrate on learning and use the precious study ids to fill the gaps. It's a little slower getting there that way but these is more chance of a pass.

CRM Telesales Certifications.
Hi all,
I have registered for telesales certification on august 25. Please send me some sample questions and material at [email protected]
ThanxHi Umar,
For an overview of the topic areas please have a look at https://service.sap.com/~sapidp/011000358700002004062004E.
I would suggest studying the SAP-library documentation. A substantial number of theoretical questions are literally mentioned there.
There are at least ten questions about SAP-competitor comparisons. For these questions always the answer most favorable for SAP.
Finally I suggest studying IC WebClient customizing in depth.
Kind regards,

Adam Stevens'Hello Adam,
The pattern would be multiple choice questions and timing would be one and half hour for New dimensional Products and passing is seventy percent, going through the CR study material throughly would suffice, if you know the correct answer for Question 1,only you can answer the 2nd Question,
its like that.
Please reward points if helps.

HI CRM Gurus,
I have almost 3 years of functional experience in Sales and distribution.
I am planning to take up mySAP CRM 2005 Fundamental ( c_cr10_50 ) certificate by learning TCRM10 (CRM-Fundamentals) in Siemens.
Is Knowledge of SAP SD is required to take up CRM fundamentals certification ?
Help me Gurus.
Thanking everybody in Advance
Valuable suggestions will be rewarded.Hi,
For CRM certification, SD knowledge is not essential, but useful in understanding many sales concepts. CRM sales concepts are more or less same as SD.
To pass certification, just follow the class and go through each slide of training material. DO not ignore a single slide. All questions in general comes from the training material.
Refer to SAP help for each topic for deep knowledge and practice each scenario on system
Hope I have answered your questions

SAP CRM 6.0 Certification too expensive!
Hi!
I am a certified in SAP CRM 5.0. I paid Rs 3,00,000 for the course, which in my opinion was really expensive.
But I was looking at the couse schedule for SAP CRM 6.0 and i was really shocked ( Yes Shocked) by the fees they are asking for the course. I think this is beyond my imagination why they are asking so much amount for the course which,
1) Doesn't gaurantee any job placement.
2) It is just for 25 days ( If you go for one of the main modules, i.e Sales, Marketing etc.)
So what does SAP want to prove by this? Come on, one can finish MBA (which is for 2 years in India and 1 year in UK) by paying this much amount.
And I have heard that many people are finding it difficult to pass the certification exams these days.
If any responsible person from SAP can explain this to me, I would be greatful. And please provide specific answers why you are charging this much.
Customer Relationship Management
TCRM10 CRM - Fundamentals 10 INR 165,000.00
TCRM20 CRM u2013 Fundamentals II 10 INR 165,000.00
CR300 CRM Sales 5 INR 82,500.00
CR800 CRM e-Commerce 3 INR 49,500.00
CR700 CRM Service 5 INR 82,500.00
CR600 CRM Marketing 5 INR 82,500.00
SAP CRM 6.0 Certification INR 25,000.00
(12.5% service tax on top of this amount)
If you want to do the course for one module (TCRM10 + TCRM20 + CR300) taken as example.
In India it will around Rs 5,00,000
In US dollar it will be around $ 10,500
In UK pound sterling it will be around 6900 GBP.
Plesase send your comments on this.Hello,
When you are CRM 5.0 certified again why you want to go with CRM 6.0
SAP keep on releasing the version, do you want to go anttend all the version. It is not really worth.
If you are certified in one version, in my opinion, it is more than enough.

SAP CRM Sales or Service or Marketing Professional Certification Exam
Dear Experts,
I have Experience in SAP ABAP and BW .
I want to write SAP CRM Professional Certification Exam.
But my Question is in which CRM module(Sales/Service/Marketing), I should do the certification.
I mean which would be useful in my career.
Please let me know.
Thank you.
Regards
SamAs you know in ERP, BW is cross system, in CRM happens the same, fristly I would ask myself in which ERP process where I was more involved. If I dealt with docuemtns (business transactions) I would go for SAP CRM Sales, if my vision is wider (MM, FI, CO) and not so focused on the SD area I would go for the services.
In your situation I would go for the SAP Certified Application Associate - CRM Fundamentals with SAP CRM 7.0 EhP2 and forget about the "Professional" ones.
