  • Creation of Tech Master data with CRM IC Web Client

    Hi Experts,
I have a query regarding creation of Technical master data via CRM IC Web client ( CRM7.0 & ECC6 for ISU)
    1) If we are using CRM IC web Client then , how the creation of Technical Master Data is triggered from web client ?
    2) Where the technical master data created first ISU or CRM ?
If anyone has the info on this please let me know.
    regards,
    Sagar

    Hi Sagar Arvind Phirke,
    1) You need to configure CRM Middleware to exchange data between CRM and IS-U;
    2) Data is created first in CRM, then it's replicated to IS-U.
    Check this helpful documentation: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/en/46/66235fc77c453a8696f76c66e8014c/frameset.htm

  • Add extra Business Objects to model CRM 2007: Web Client Records

    Hello,
Could anyone tell me how I can add more Reference Objects in Case Management?
I copied the model CRM 2007: Web Client Records and added a new node (with for example Business Object Service Order) just like product and installations (which are visible under the reference objects)
I created a new element type under SCMG_SP_CASE_RECORD --> Z_CRM_SPS_CASE_RECORD and in the customizing we attached the model to the case type under Case Management --> Extended Customizing --> Process Actions --> Assign Action Profile to Case Type.
Still the new Business Object in the model isn't visible under Case Management in de WebUI.
Could anyone tell me if I'm missing something or is there a config guide available how to add more business objects?
    Looking forward to your replies.
    Kind regards,
    Joost Christenhusz

  • Business role customizing not working in crm 2007 web client

Can someone tell me what services need to be activated via sicf for business role customizing to work in the Web Client under the Administration component in CRM 2007.  I have everything else working in this are eg surveys, document template, fact sheet configuration, view configuration but the business role customizing when selected just opens a blank screen
    Thanks in advance
    Eddie

    Hi Eddie,
The SAP CRM 2007 Master guide suggests enabling all the SICF services in the SAP namespace.
We had some script errors in CRM UI, but once all the SICF services were activated, they simply disappeared.
The IDES demo systems are also set up this way, so you can try doing it.

  • Authorisations based on Sales Orgs in crm 2007 Web Client

I have a requirement to restrict the visibility of data (both masterdata and transactional data) based on a specific sales org.  For a specific business role i need to restrict visibility for our account managers utilising the web client application to business partners from a specific sales org and also fortransactionsal data from the sames sales org.
I have been using the following authorisation objects to effect this but with limited success:
    CRM_ORD_OP
    CRM_ORD_LP
    CRM_ORD_PR
    CRM_ORD_OE
Whilst i can restrict users from viewing some of the specific data 9based on sales org), the transactional data and indeed customer master data  still appears on the web client searches.  What needs to happen to ensure that the data does not even appear in the relevant searches.  The same requirement for searches of customers should also be
Has anyone met this type of requirement and if so what dod they do to implement it.

  • Auto complete option in CRM 2007 Web Client

    Dear Experts,
Like how we open certain web pages and find the user name automatically apprearing (auto complete option) when you enter the first letter. This option can be enabled by doing the settings in Internet explorer tools - content - autocomplete option.
Similarly the client requires autocomplete option to be enabled for CRM 2007 Webclient. Though we have enabled autocomplete settings briefed above, its not working in webclient.
Can you please let me know the procedure to get the autocomplete option of previous entries as a drop down while trying to create /reenter the data.
Answers resolving the query will be rewarded.
    Regards...
    George Zacharia.

    Hi Gerogee,
Did you get a way to implement this?
    I've a similar requirement.
    Please let me know.

  • Loading Java Applet Failed in CRM 2007 Web Client Marketing

We have recently upgraded our CRM 4.0 sp6 system to CRM 2007.  As part of this upgrade we configured the SAP Best Practice Building Blocks.  Logging on to the webclient using the user MKT_MAN (assigned business role BP_MKT_MAN) we get an error when trying to run the Marketing Calendar.  the error we get is that "Loading Java Applet Failed" the specific applet in question is: Applet com.sap.crm.mkt.calendar.applet.MktCalendar notinited
We have implemented the following SAP notes to try and rectify the issue but with no success:
Note 1177590 - Version 2.0 of Marketing Calendar java applet
Note 1237477 - Marketing Calendar is not displayed, Tensegrity Library
Any ideas as to what can resolve this issue
    Thanks in advance
    Eddie

    Hi Eddie
I have exactly the same problem, using IE 6.0 & JRE 1.4.2_07.
What I have found is that users in my company with the same configuration on their machines, same settings as above can load the Marketing Calendar without issue.
Have loaded the same notes as yourself already.
I have managed to get it to working by switching off my proxy settings entirely. This is fine for testing but of no use for go live.
I have also found that when it does finally load successfully it is incredibly slow in comparison to other functionality within the WEB UI.
Thus far I have logged an OSS Message regarding this matter, could I recommend you do the same, this should encourage SAP that the issue is not isolated.
    Good Luck

  • Web client proxy question

I generated a web service proxy in JDeveloper 10.1.3.2.
The web service I am going against is a doc/literal type service, and so the response back is a string. I see that a Response_LiteralSerializer was generated, can I use that to get an object from the response string?
I'm hoping to avoid using dom4j to pull out values from the return.

  • Configuration of Incident Management in CRM IC Web Client

    Hi,
Can anyone give me the procedure for configuring the incident management in IC Web UI and what are the pre-req for configuration
    Thanks,

    Hi ,
    You can try two things:
    1. Find a standard business role(in tx crmc_ui_profile) that has the links as you need
    2. Create a custom business role by copying from some standard business roles that has all the links you have mentioned and more, then remove unwanted links from the ui profile
You might need to configure the navigation bar profile using transaction crmc_ui_nblinks.

  • Java error in session initializations - IC web client

    Hi All,
When i access the CRM IC web client through browser (BSP page), Page is loading but inside the page im getting the following error.
" Java error in session initialization [Error message: abcj2systemid.domain.com: CALL_METHOD(SYS_METHODNAME) sessionid = SOAP Runtime Execption; CSoapExceptionTransport : HTTP recive failed with exception communication_failure ( Message Class CRMM_IC_FRAMEWORK- message number 106).

    Thanks

    Hi Sai,
Kindly make sure that you have JREE1.4.0 and  not above for  your  error.
Secondly, you are getting the first message because when you are closing your application by clicking onto the close at top, it doesnt log out your agent from the Webclient. The correct approach would be to close using the path Menu Bar> File> Close
The channels are not  available because you have not maintained the queues and channels for your system. The same is do be done in SAP Easy Acess> Webclient> Additional Settings. It is also available in the Best Practices C78.
The link for the same is
    http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv250/CRM_DE/index.htm
    Hope this would help.

  • Web Client - recurring activities creation

    Hi,
I'm enquiring is it possible to create recurring activities in the CRM 2007 Web Client  i.e the setting up of a recurring customer visit that is on a repeat schedule.
If this possible, how can this be done.
    Thanks in advance,
    Dan

This is taken from SAP knowleagebase...
    Configure Repetitive Tasks
In CRM Activity Management, you can create repetitive tasks, which are actions that a user executes in a defined period of time on a regular basis. This could be used for example, if a user needs to make a weekly report for an activity that is meant to run over a long period of time.
Note: The default repetitive task RECU is part of the standard delivery. However, you can configure your own repetitive task if you do not want to use the default task provided. Also part of the standard delivery are the action profile CREATE_RECURRENCE, the action definition DO_RECURRENCE, and the date profile RECU_DTPROFL.
    Requirements
A repetitive task must have the following date fields:
    Start Task Date
Recurrence, determining the frequency at which a task is to be created
Recurrence Rule, calculating when the next task is to be created
    Next Recurrence
    Recurrence End
    Completion Date
    Activities
    1. Create a date profile. Choose Customer Relationship Management -> Basic Functions -> Date Management -> Define Date Profiles.
    a) Create valid reference objects for the date profile, as well as date rules, date types and durations.
    2. Create an action profile to determine the action the system will perform when the task is executed. Choose Customer Relationship Management -> Basic Functions -> Actions -> Actions in Transactions -> Change Actions and Conditions -> Define Action Profiles and Actions.
    a) Create and define an action for repetitive tasks. Use the date profile that you just created and set the context class.
    b) Maintain the action definition and processing type of the action definition.
    3. Define the conditions under which the action will be executed. Choose Customer Relationship Management -> Basic Functions -> Actions -> Actions in Transactions -> Change Actions and Conditions -> Define Conditions.
    a) Display the actions for the repetitive task and set the Start Conditions. Make sure the business object is referred to. The action should be scheduled if the task status is set to Completed and if the next recurrence is before the Recurrence End Date.
    4. Set a call back using the function module CRM_CMG_SET_COMPLETION_DATE for the event AFTER_CHANGE and the object STATUS = Completed. (This function module relies on date type COMPLETION. The call back assigns the current date to the completion date field when the task is completed. It is required to make the completion date independent from the task action.)
    5. Define a transaction type. Choose Customer Relationship Management -> Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Define Transaction Types.
    a) You can copy the one in the standard delivery (RECU), and then in the Date Profile field assign the date profile created in step 1 and in the Action Profile field assign the profile created in step 2.

  • CRM 7.0: Test/simulate telephony integration in IC web client

    Hello
one of our customers is currently performing CRM release upgrade from CRM 4.0 to CRM 7.0. In CRM 4.0, they used the sapphone server for telephony integration (CTI) into CRM IC win client (SAP GUI).
Now weu2019re currently testing this feature in CRM 7.0, however, the telephony buttons in the IC web client are shown but do not trigger any action.
My question: Is there any kind of test / simulation scenario for testing the telephony integration using sapphone server directly in the SAP system (without the actual sapphone server)? Weu2019d like to make sure that the customizing of the IC profile itself is correct before looking for other technical issues. We're currently testing using business role IC_AGENT.
I searched SAP marketplace and SDN, however, only found transaction code SPHT and guides for ICI.
    Many thanks & regards
    Wolfgang

    Hi,
thanks for that one, I've read this before but didn't mention that we've got no JAVA stack available. So we'd be looking for a solution that is fully possible with only the ABAP stack.
    Regards
    Wolfgang
