CRM IS-U Contracts

Hi,
I need to identify the last active contract for a given premise, the premise in question is obtained from the global data context.
Any idea on how i could obtain this info? ( The premise object i have in the global context is from the component set IUICALL )
Thanks!

Hi Niranjan,
go to http://service.sap.com/utilties
There you'll find the cookbook IS-U/CRM Contract Integration in the section SAP for Utilities - Product Information  -> SAP CRM for Utilities -> Cookbooks&Guidelines.

  • Integration of SAP IS-U Two Contract Model with CRM 7.0 Contract Mgmt

    Hi,
We have 2-Contract model for all customers in SAP IS-U for distribution and supply services. We are also planning to implement CRM 7.0 Contract management and integrate with SAP IS-U. There is a talk in the air that CRM 7.0 Contract Management does not work with 2-Contract model in IS-U because of some POD replication issues in CRM and heard that some clients are currently facing this issue.
Our client is operating in Deregulated environment and we were planning to use Two contract model to separate the services.
Has anyone faced this issue in your projects or Is SAP working on this issue?
Please let me know if there are any workarounds where we can still use 2-contract model and integrate with CRM 7.0? Any help or inputs that can you can provide will be very helpful to us.
    Thanks in advance.
    Sachin

    DearSachin,
As per Design it's only possible to have one contract at the same time per PoD.
If you in a deregulation market it's recommended you to use the IDE integration in CRM.
Unfortunatly your desired business scenario can be achieved on project base only. There are several ideas how to provide the data and the information. One would be to download only the most used contract category into the CRM system (eiher grid usage or supply) and have the other contract only in IS-U (no replication). With a customer enhancement it would be possible do retrieve the whole supply sceanario within the IC webclient.
Another idea would be to attach a new customer based field to the contract which indicates if the contract is a grid usage or supply contract and have the check for double contracts respect that data - this solution is quite tricky and should be considered only by very experienced consultants.
Or use 1 installation with 1 contract for simple supply scenario. The schema contains a rate for both, distribution and default supply. The default supply can be switched with an installation fact. In CRM, there is 1 contract with 1 product. If a customer switches to a 3rd party supplier, an inbound message from the supplier creates a second installation with a supply contract and switches off the default supply rate. This installation/contract is not visible in CRM, it is not replicated to CRM.
As you can see, there are some ideas how to solve your needs on project base, but unfortunatly SAP generally will not change the main architecture which allows several contracts per PoD.
I hope this information is helpful for you.

  • CRM- Find Service contract from Internal Order Number

    Hi Friends,
I would like to know how to get service contract from internal oredr number.
From service contract we can find internal order number by using CRM_ORDER_READ function module- table et_document_flow, but my requirement is how to find service contract from Internal order number.Any function module or BAPI available for this requierement ?
    Regards
    Vinayak Sapkal

    Hi,
when the costs are transferred from CRM to R3, they are posted to an internal order. When a service order or incident is transferred to R3, we have to create an internal order for it, regardless of whether or not a contract has been assigned.
This is all linked to the logic used in CO to find the appropriate internal order. It works as follows:
The internal order is stored in the table IAOM_ASSIGNMENTS. This is accessed by a guid (the account assignment guid).
To get this guid, there is a second table IAOM_EXT_OBJ_INF. This table links the GUIDs coming from CRM, dependent on the CO Customizing for CRM (Mass Controlling, Header level, item level controlling etc.)
This is how we manage to link a service order to the internal order of a contract in the first place.
When we call CO, CO first looks for an assignment for the object guid passed. If a service order has been linked to a contract, nothing will be found for the object guid. CO will then check for assignments to the reference guid and find the contract entry.
If no contract has been assigned, CO will create an internal order based on the service order guid.
From a CRM point of view, costs are assigned directly to an item, and so it makes no sense to have a reference guid for the costs or the possibility to change the guid via BADI.

  • CRM 2007 Service Contract Determinatio and returns/complaints

    Hi gurus,
I'm currently struggling to set up the contract determination for our CRM 2007 for complaints and returns. I have set the flag contract determination D or F (both did not work for my tests). as well in the transaction type customizing I have set und customizing header the determination to service contract.
According to SAP help the copy control needs to be set up as well? I did not quite understand yet why, but I maintained a copy control between my contract and my return.  Any special settings needed between my source contract and target return?
last step should be the copy control for item categories? I maintained both:
    - Define copy control for item categories
    - Define item category determination when copying
From my contract item category to my return item category.
But still I don't have any contract determination in my return.
    Any hints please?

    Hi Pepe,
thanks for your answer (points rewared). I managed to get it running for complaints before you answered. Now struggling to get it for our returns running as well.
I have a question for the copy control: What exactly has to be set up there? I guess I did for our complaints more then needed.
    1. Copy control from contract to complaint transaction type.
    2. copy control from contract item category to complaint item category
    3. Define item category while copying: done the same as in step 2.
any special settings to consider for step 2?

  • BOM IN CRM Only for Service  Contract

    Hello
We want have a BOM explosion working in CRM for service contracts
    Here are the details :
We have replicated the materials from ECC to CRM. We are not maintaining any BOMu2019s in ECC.
The idea is that we maintain the BOM Structure in CRM only, as we donu2019t want to have the Items as a billable item in a position, only for information purposes (or later on for metering)
We have maintained the product category for the header product in CRM so we are able to maintain depended components
(Relationship type SCDEC  S Dependent Components (DC) )
Not we are able to assign dependent component to the header material
    Item category groups:
We understand that the standard item category groups that should be used are ERLA for the header product and LUMF for the Item product.
In order to support the same functionality for the given item category group , maintained at the product level in ECC we copied the same setting for the item category group from the standard to
    our settings.
    Standart
Tx type     Item Cat Group          item category     structure scope
TA             ERLA                TAQ           A single level Explosion of Structured Product
TA         LUMF                TAP                   A single level Explosion of Structured Product
So we have copied TAQ to ZTAQ and TAP to ZTAP.
ZS01 is a copy of SC (service contract)
Tx type     Item Cat Group          item category     structure scope
ZS01     ZLEI                       ZTAQ          A single level Explosion of Structured Product
ZS01     LEIS                       ZTAP          A single level Explosion of Structured Product
But when we use a header product in the service contract, we cannot see the BOM is exploding.
We have also created some products in CRM with exactly the same Item Category groups as the standard and when we create a standard order (TA) in CRM, the BOM is NOT exploding.
    Questions:
Is it possible to have the BOM setup only in CRM, like we try to do it?
Is it possible to use our own item category groups in CRM more is the functionality only working with ERLA and LUMF?
Is it possible to use the BOM Explosion in Service contracts as well ?
What steps are we missing to get the BOM explosion in CRM ?
    Thank you for your help

Thanks Nablan, I could do that for multiple header coming in file. But I have a question for you on BAdI ALM_ME_006_GOODSMVT. I have implemented this BAdI , and this BAdI is called by a function Module ALM_MEREP_006_CREATE. When I test this FM giving the Material , Orderid and Movement type entries, this BAdI is triggered when giving a breakpoint. I've given this code for changing the movement type to 961. Cause the stanadrd scenario does not maintain Movement type 961 in Mobile Asset Management. The Movement type 961 for unplanned Materials comes to SAP and changes to 261 as maiantained by TCOKO table. To bypass this & retain the movement type 961 in SAP I'm using this BAdI. Currently this is what I'm doing and am stuck in the method interface how do I call the method.
    method IF_EX_ALM_ME_006_GOODSMVT~CREATE .
    break-point.
    *DATA : i_ce_goodsmovement TYPE REFERENCE
              ALM_ME_CUSTOMER_ENHANCEMENT.
    DATA : lr_badi_goods_movement TYPE REF TO if_ex_alm_me_006_goodsmvt.
    DATA : ls_user_data TYPE ALM_ME_USER_DATA-USERID.
    *DATA : goods_movement TYPE ALM_ME_MATERIAL_MOVEMENT.
    CALL METHOD lr_badi_goods_movement->create
      EXPORTING
           ce_goodsmovement = ce_goodsmovement
      IMPORTING
           user_data        = ls_user_data
           custom_user_data = ls_ce_user_data
           goods_movement   = goods_movement
      changing
           return           = return[].
    CALL FUNCTION 'ALM_ME_COMMIT_OR_ROLLBACK'
           TABLES
                return = return.
    endmethod.
Please help me to get the data in this method. How do I call this.

    Hi,
I did work on single level BOM explosion in a couple of projects. As per SAP note 549341 - FAQ: BOMs in the sales order, it is very much possible to explode multi-level BOMs.
Check this note and item category BOM explosion options.

  • ISU Contract replication to CRM

    Hi ..
We have replicated Connection object & Pod of ISU to CRM, however we are not able to replicate ISU Contracts to crm,
Please advice what settings are needed for same.

    Hi Ritesh,
If you connect an ISU system that is not Unicode-enabled with a CRM system that is Unicode-enabled, data is not converted correctly when replicated into the CRM system.
Contracts are not replicated in the ISU system if the CRM or ISU system is a UNICODE system.
    kindly check the following Note:969177

  • What is the difference between CUSTCRMPRJ or crm/home/shr/ext in SAP-CRMWEB

    Hi
I have some questions related to customization of E-commerce application.
as we per the SAP doc.
    we have three software components.
    SAP-CRMWEB * SAP-SHRWEB
In the above two software components have two dc's like /crm/home/crm/ext &  /crm/home/shr/ext and for all the extensions to modify. If we are adding all the chnages related to E-Commerce in the above DC's . what is the use of CUSTCRMPRJ software component?
Is there any difference between CUSTCRMPRJ.sca and above dc's,
    When to modify which component?
    2)
What is the relation between SHRWEB & SHRAPP same way CRMWEB  & CRMAPP.?
    3)

    Regards

    Hi Nitin,
    Thanks for the valid reply.
I have worked on webdynpro applications in SAP WAS, but not much with respect to J2EE app. Now  I need to  support the CRM E-commerce apps(b2b scenario)  which are already customized by dev team.
I have few questions related to applications.
I have imported the weborder track which has all the following .SCA's
    sap.com_CUSTCRMPRJ

    sap.com_SAP-CRMDIC
    sap.com_SAP-CRMWEB
    sap.com_SAP-SHRAPP
    sap.com_SAP-SHRWEB
I have understood one point clearly that, SHRAPP & CRMAPP will have only Enterprise application Dc's only, it has one.ear file to deply the web applicatons related to  SHRWEB and CRMWEB by refering the related web DC's.
All CRM Web component DC's in SHRWEB have corresponding Enterprise applications in SHRAPP to deploy in server. same for CRMWEB.SCA have corresponding Enterprise application dc's in CRMAPP.
can you clarify the folowing questions.
    1) what is the relation ship between SHRWEB and CRMWEB?
    2) what is the difference between
*isa (E-Commerce), this related .war is available in SHRWEB.sca*
*icss (Internet Customer Self Service) .war is availabl in CRMWEB.sca*

  • Partner in service contract and ibase

Here is a data migration scenario, migration service contract from legance to crm:
    1. warranty data and sold to partner will be migrated to ibase in crm
    2. legancy contract will be migrated to crm contract, which also contains a sold to party
So my question is whether there is a dependency about sold-to party between service contract and ibase,
    - for example., here is ibase contain product: A,B,C, but when create a contract for product D, which does not exist in a ibase, so whether this contract can be create, whether it can look up the if product exist in ibase according to sold to party,
And whether it can prevent to create new contract for D?
    Many thanks.

    Hi Nagaraju,
First of all, you can bill Service Contract and Service Order differently. This is because you may wish to charge contract fees irrespective of whether service occurs or not.
Secondly, while maintaining DIP profile, you can use different material from the one used in contract. Just make sure that it gives explanation as to what service was performed so that customer will understand the invoice.
DP90 will generate Debit memo request. You will need to create billing document against this using VF01.
When you settle the service order (KO88), it will be settled against service contract.
Please let me know if you need any further information.
    Regards,
    Aaditya.

  • Profit center determination in R/3 when releasing line item in CRM

    Dear All,
In CRM under Service Contract, whenever a line item is getting released, automatically debit memo request is created in R/3.However,the profit center is not populating in the line item.Even the profit center field in r/3 is in non-editable mode.
We have maintained the profit center substitution rule in R/3 based on sales org using 0KEM T.code and assigned the same to CO Area.
Kindly suggest me in this juncture.

    Hello,
I assume you had setup "Single Object Controling" for your scenario and the profit center are in connection with the internal order which is created in case of "Single Object Controling"
See :Single-Object Controlling - Generic Functions in Service - SAP Library
You can set up the profit centre substitution in the ECC transaction SCRM
under the path Customer relationship management -> General settings ->
Settings for Profit Center Accounting, you can define substitution
rules for the profit center. Documentation is also provided.
Furthermore for determination of the relevant profit center, you can also use BAdI CRM_UPLOAD_CO (method CHARACTERISTICS_SERVICE_FILL) to assign the proper profit center to the internal order. See the documentation for these BADI in the documentation for these BADI (Tx. SE18).
I hope these information will help you.
    Best Regards

  • Access DMS document throgh CRM

    Dear Gurus,
Is it possible to access DMS document throgh CRM.
Is there any object available for CRM like customer compalints, Solution provided Excetra...,
Can any one share the doc for CRM-DMS object config.
    Thanks in advance.

Yes, but you need to create a RFC Connection between your CRM system and ECC6. SAP DMS itself is not available in the CRM system so the RFC connection needs to be in place in order to use it.
    From the Help Files:
    Integrating Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
    Usage
Integrating Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) lets you link documents from the PLM Document Management System (DMS) with documents from CRM such as contracts, opportunities, and activities.
    Integration
To use PLM in CRM, you require SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) 4.70 and higher. If you want to use SAP EPR 4.6c, you require SAP Note 620160.
    Prerequisites
You have maintained the RFC connections to PLM. For more information, see the Implementation Guide at Customer Relationship Management ® Basic Functions ® Content Management ® Maintain RFC Connections to PLM.
    Features
Integration is only available for the People-Centric UI.
Change markings in PLM documents are not displayed in the PC-UI.
    The following functionalities are available:
    ·        You can use the PLM DMS to link PLM DMS documents directly to the following objects, or to delete the links:
    ¡        CRM business objects
If you assign a PLM document to a CRM business object, it appears in the PLM Documents folder.
    ¡        Sales contracts
    ¡        Sales documents
    ¡        Business partners
    ¡        Products
    ·        Finding PLM Documents
You can also find PLM documents in CRM by the following properties:
    ¡        User-defined text
    ¡        Document number
    ¡        Document type
    ¡        Version number
    ¡        Status
    ¡        Description
    ¡        User
    ¡        Part
For PLM documents, the Creator field in CRM Content Management specifies the Person Responsible from PLM.
The full-text search only searches the document long text and not the content of the document itself .
There is only a full-text search in the document long text, not in the document content itself.
    ·        Jump to PLM WebDocuments as of SAP ERP 4.70

  • CRM 7.0 and ISU configuration

    Hi All
I went through all documentation on help, Itu255, sdn and trying to configure the crm + ISU system
I have few questions on both ISU and CRM side
    1) I have assigned UTIL_IC parameter value under SU3
I get excatly what i wanted in my weblogin as utilities menu.
    2) under pppoma_crm I have assigned my user to one of the org nodes
do I need to manintain anything under function and attributes?
    by default it is sales
    3) I could successfully create a business partner under crm 7.0 GUI, where If I try to create business partner in web I get
error as "business partner type 0001 does not exist" what is the reason for this
    4) I did all configuration on connection object, premise, devcie, POd, contract number and other nodes in
ISU system. configured RFC user between CRM and ISU . after all this in my CRM web serach criteria i dont find any data
obviously i have not downloaded anything from ISU to CRM yet. before I do this what config is required on CRM side?
after CRM config what downlaod steps do I need to follow
in a nutshell I need config step in ISU and CRM for successfull contract creation
can anyone help me on this?

    Hi Nitin,
First of all create the KB and Runtime version for ur configurable products(Variant configuration products ) in ECC.
Then activate the IPC, download the KR and Runtime Version (SCE).  Create your own Application Customer confiruation in XCM component and the link look http://<host>:<port>/<web app name>/admin/xcm/init.do.
Then go to the table COMM_IPC_PROP and maintaint the table entry with the Application Customer Configuration in XCM for Product and also for sales order if you are using the Sales order for the configurable products...
and also u need to maintain the IPC server setting in the table COMM_IPC_URL.
Please let me know if you need any thing else...

  • Migration from ISU to CRM

    Hi,
We are populating SAP ISU via Emigall and proposing to replicate all customer data including BP, CA and Contract and all technical master data including CO, Premise and Device.  This is a lot of objects and data to replicate from ISU to CRM which will mean our migration takes a long time.
Are there any other options to populating data into CRM? Would you advice LSMW load into CRM and Emigall load into ISU?
    KR,
    Michelle

Hi we are proposing to use Emigall (Data migration workbench) to load the following into ISU:-
    BP
    CA
    Contract
    CO
    Premise
    Device
    Reg Structure
    Documents
    Dunning etc
We are proposing to use CRM middleware to replicate the following objects from ISU to CRM:-
    BP
    CA
    Contract
    CO
    Premise
    Device
My concern is that the replication from ISU to CRM is very slow and will be our bottleneck during migration weekend. I am looking for ways to speed up this replication including alternative ways of populating CRM.
    KR,
    Michelle
