There is an old contract item for which I need to change the end date
and there is a new contract item for which I need to change the start date.
I need to change the contract item end date and start date using some function module in IS-U system (may be as RFC to CRM).Pleaselet me know if any body is ware of this functionality?
I am aware of a FM EECRM_CONTRACT_DATE_CHANGE which may be used for changing End Date

Enhancement CRM Material Object

Hi CRM Gurus,
I need some direction on enhancing CRM Material Object.
Due to our R/3 system store Product hierarchy (PRODH) in table MVKE not in table MARA. We need to mapped the product hierarchy from MVKE in R/3 to CRM in general material data (MARA).
What is the best way to do this?.

Reg: material needs the batch management

Hi All,
The material needs the batch management. We have created without the batch
first and the few movements were done, then tried to put the flag after the
stock remove and sales order deletion, however could not process. System
messaged as below in italic. Please let me know how we could change the MM
date for the batch. The sales order alive now.
The batch management requirement cannot
be changed for the following reasons:
SD documents exist (orders or deliveries) that have not yet been
processed or that have been processed only in part.

You should fully process the sales documents (sales order - delivery - invoice) or you should delete them and after setting batch requirement for your material master you could recreate the them (SO, delivery).

MAP R3 to CRM Material Master -- Urgent

Hi all,
I have currently using BADI PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2 with method MAP_R3_TO_CRM_MATERIAL. I have done the coding and required configuration. I suppose to be able to see the changes done in COMMPR01 in CRM from MM02 in R3. However, I fail to see the changes at CRM.
I have read through note 428989 for the mapping instruction. During debugging, I manage to see all the changes done in R3 at the CRM side.. until the populating part, everything looks fine and okie for me. But when everything gone through, including the SMQ2 ibound queue finish running, i still fail to see the changes.
Below is the populating code that i have implemented in the badi, anyone can give me some advice on the code (basically the code refer to the reference file). Do i need to include some extra field or table at the populating part. Thanks.

The client is currently implementing ECC 6.0, and will start implementing CRM 7.0, as well.
I am a newbie CRM consultant and a Java developer myself, so I need a bit of clarification:
-Is Mobile Sales a different "module" within ERP, or a component of CRM?
-to run Mobile Sales we will need another server?(for the Mobile Engine)
-If we install Mobile Sales and the client does not wish to change many of the standard SAP functionality, configuration needed will only be concerning replicationg SD and HR customizing similarly to CRM??
-Are there best practices for Mobile Sales??(So far i have not been able to find any)
-On average (based on your experience) how long does it take to implement Mobile Sales standard SAP functionality?

CRM material description not replicated

Hi All.
We are facing a issue.
A new material was created in R/3 and was replicated in CRM but the material discription is not replicated in CRM when we see in commpr01.
How to solve this issue.
We are using CRM 4.0 and R/3 4.7

Please check the procedures during replication process. Generally entire header information will be replicated when standard material is being replicated. if any routines exist, then please check those.

CRM material master valuation category

hi,
I replicated material master data from ERP to CRM. 10000016 Material has 3 valuation category in ERP. But valuation category in the financial 1 tab doesn't replicate to CRM. While I create service order with 10000016 material , how can I know which valuation category is used?

Hi,
It's solved.
Unfortunately you will have to add the field in CRM as it is not
contained in standard system.
Also you add the field in CRM and then do the mapping to the same field
in R/3. You can use the data exchange BADI to do this CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADIThis is your own responsibility
however.

SAP CRM DECOUPLING - NEEDS BAPI AND RFC HELP

Rt now we are working on Decoupling project.I will explain you the            scenario .
           Client has sap 4.6 C and CRM 2.0 connected with CRM middleware.
           Client is upgrading SAP 4.6 C to ECC 6.0 but not upgrading crm2.0 .
           Therefore ECC 6.0 will not suport middleware and we need to restore the connection                   between SAP ecc 6.0 and crm 2.0 without using middleware.
           we will be using bdc rfc bapi and idoc and change pointers to establish the connection            and restore the data flow.
           Can anyone help me if you have some idea i need the bapi or function module that is used for            creating products in CRM 2.0 .

Debugging material needed

I am working as a SD/CRM functional consultant, since many times i used to get bog down in some of the program while debugging. I am able to analyse the code with F5 and F6 for any Zreports where as for Stnd SAP reports it's becomign a night mare, hence taking help with my abaper for each issue.
Can some one pl drop links or send me good and easy document to get expertise to debug any stnd sap codes?

f5-used for line by line debugging
f6-used for directly executing function modules or performs i.e. control won't go into that block.
f7-run to cursor
f8-direct executing.
fileds: here we can check fild values.
click fileds option and double click on the filed or type the filen name beside filed
tables : here we can check the data in the internal table.
click tables option and double click on the internal table.
Break points:
if you want to debug a particulr part you can use this.
place the cursor at any perform click breakpoint or double click on that line.it will be set.
if /h from report statement it will debug,so for debugging from particular point we will use break points.use f7 to traverse between multiple break points.
Watch-points: In some cases we need to check the data populated in the internal table for eample if we want to check the data of internal table record belongs to 100th vendor we will create watch point for this goto->breakpoints->create watch points->give filed itab-lifnr->=->100.
debugging procedure:
Use '/H' in the command line and execute the report/program, so that it goes to debugging mode
2. keep a hard coded break point in the code like BREAK-POINT and it stops there.
3.From the program Menu, Keep the Soft Break-points and do the debugging.
