CRM  - Sales area definition

Hi gurus,
    Kindly let me know the steps to Define/modify a sales area in SAP CRM.
   I need this because in BAPU_MAIN BDoc there are some error messages stating "Invalid sales and distribution area" . Hence your solution will help me resolve this error message.

Hi,
If you want to determine wether a particular org unit is assigned to another org unit, in PPOMA_CRM search for the child org unit and double click on it. once the child org unit is displayed goto function tab of the org unit where you may find three subtabs depending on the org unit (Sales Organization, Sales Office & Sales Group).
You can find all the assignments done in these tabs.

    Hi,
    We have downloaded the Customer Master from R/3 to CRM system. Initial Load was successful and delta is also working fine. We are getting the R/3 sales area data in CRM system when we open a BP.
    But here our issue is, we could not locate the sales area data in any of these below CRM tables -
    CRMD_ORGMAN
    CRMM_BUT_FRG0081
    CRMM_BUT_FRG0080
    This data we require for BW purpose, Can anyone help me where I can get this data?
    The Bdocs coming from R/3 to CRM contains complete sales area data.

    It depends on the tab you have maintained for sales area.
    CRMM_BUT_LNK0011 holds the sales area data for the sales tab on the screen.
    CRMM_BUT_LNK0021 holds the sales area data if the shipping tab is maintained.
    Similarly if the billing tab is maintained, you ll find the data within the CRMM_BUT_LNK0031 table.

  • BP from R3 to CRM - Sales Area not visible in CRM

    Hi Forum,
    I have done middleware setup for data replication between R3 --> CRM and its working fine.I can see the Customers in CRM that was created in R3 as Sold-to party(Iam downloading only Sold-to party).Iam encountering 2 problems :
    1.Iam unable to see all the Sold-to Party from R3.Only  few Sold-to party are visible, say out of 450 only 30 are visible in CRM.I have done initial load of Customer_Main and other customizing objects(Delta load is also working fine).
    2.And Iam unable to see the Sales area of BP(have assigned Co.code and sales area to Sold-to Party in R3) in CRM.
    Please Guide

    Hi Matthew,
    The 30 sold-to party that are coming from R3 have the No.30xxx as their id.But there are other sold-to party with the same No.i.e 30xxx.Other sold-to party have id 10xxx and 20xxx.
    I have maintained the number range in CRM according to the number range for the account group 001(sold-to party in R3) as exterbal num range.Below I have shown the Num ranges in R3 and CRM

  • Business Partner - CRM Sales Area Data disabled

    Hi Experts,
    Facing a small problem in Business Partner screen.
    I have created a Sold-to-Party role and when i go to the <b>Sales Area Data</b>
    data set, i should be able to Choose Sales Area for determining the Sales Org and Distribution Channel. But the Button <b>Choose Sales Area</b>
    is not enabled. Kindly help me out in Enabling this button so that i can choose Sales Area and determine the Sales Org and Distribution Channel.

    Hi,
    1. Go to transaction sm30
    2. Open T77OMATTR in display mode.
    3. Select SALE and go to Attributes/Scenarios.
    4. Now go to the detail of attributes IS_SA_GRP, IS_SA_OFF and
    IS_SA_ORG.
    There you will see that Flag is not checked for 'Simulated'. For
    Enhanced model it should be checked. Check the checkbox for all the
    three attributes and then run the report
    HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE.

  • Unable to see sales area tab in CRM production client

    Dear Experts,
    I established middleware connectivity between CRM 2007(001) and  ECC 6.0(200)  Production Clients,
    i maintained following settings
    Used transaction code BUSD
    and select the respective role and click on BP Role -> Subheader ID
    Checked the entry 'CRM001 CRM: Sales Area Data'  and even i checked the consistency is ok and  active in org model.
    But still I am unable to see sales area tab in the BP master In the CRM production client (001) .
    Plz sugest what else i have to do to rectify this problem.

    We all ready  done buffering.
    We have  executed report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE, 
    and the scenario SALE is flagged as buffered in customizing table T77OMATTSC.
    But still we are not able see the sales area tab in bp master.
    Note : one thing we noticed when we selected the r3 reference customers when copied sales area into crm bp by using the tcode crmc_bupa_consum  we are able to see the sales area tab.
    But when we trying to create new bp by using role Sold to party we are not able to see Sales area tab in bp master.

  • Sales Area synchronization between CRM and ECC is not working

    Dear Experts,
    In CRM Customer master record we are maintaining Sales organization, Distribution Channel and Division (Sales Area) under Sales Area tab.
    The Same Sales Area is downloaded from back-end ECC system.
    when I create new customer in CRM, Sales Area data is not downloading to ECC system. I have maintained all settings but could not find why the problem is coming.
    I request you to help me in resolving this issue.

    Thnaks for response, Division Setting are maintained. Header Division Activated Checkbox selected.
    We are not using service orgnisation

    While creating Business partner in Tcode BP for Sold to party role, we do not see SALES AREA DATA button – Please let us know the suitable screen settings required to get this button.

    Check the transaction bus_hdrid. The entry for CRM001 should be there.If not enter the following:
    CRM001     Sales Area Data     CRM: Sales Area Data     CRM1     CRM001
    Also, go to the transaction busd and for your bp view ( CRM001)
    assign the above subheader.

    In that case I recommend you to check the view V_TBZJ1 in transaction SM30 and see whether the line
    Subheader  Screen text   Description  Appl. Scrn.seq.cat.
    CRM001     Sales area data CRM          CRM1  CRM001
    exist or not if not then pls maintain it.
    Also check the view V_TBZJ1C for the lines below
    Subheader  Description         Item number  Active
    CRM001     CRM:Sales area data    2            X
    If this also not exist then maintain it.
    After this you will be able to see sales area tab when you will create the BP in role SP.

    As in our system i need to check that for all
    sold to party existings , who are all the having the sales area data.
    how can i able to pull those Sold to Party that does not having sales area data.
    I know that the data is huge , but canot help because some of the Sold to Party maintained in CRM is without sales area data.
    I want to know that if the numbers ar ehuge it can be a customizing problem.

  • ERP Reference sales area usage in CRM organization determination

    Hi Experts,
    Our client, in its ERP applies reference sales area to reduce mater data maintenace efforts. (It manages about 30-40 division which definition is based on product portfolio basis.)
    As result of this structure, in CRM business partners are created only this reference sales area level, meanwhile in the business transaction we should need information about the real division.
    Is there any experiences on this area?

    I am not able to select sales area data for the reference customer copied from r/3 to crm sysytem even through ORg. structure is properly maintain ( Object permitted in determination is ticked).
    The field " Choose sale area is subpress/grey.

    try to select Sales Organization you get nothing?
    (click Sales Org combo but no selection appear)?
    How about field Distribution Channel and Division?
    I am afraid some of these fields still not properly
    set/transported to CRM.
    In R/3, this BP has maintained under same Sales Area
    which mapped in CRM Org Model right ?
    What is role in CRM when you open the BP?
    Have you check if there is any error in middleware
    when downloading BP data to CRM?

    You can get Org details in various tables like Sales Org, Division, Distribution Channel in following tables with help of PARTNER_GUID.
    Sales :
    CRMM_BUT_LNK0010
    CRMM_BUT_LNK0011
    Shipping:
    CRMM_BUT_LNK0020
    CRMM_BUT_LNK0021
    Billing :
    CRMM_BUT_LNK0030
    CRMM_BUT_LNK0031
    Organization :
    CRMM_BUT_LNK0140
    CRMM_BUT_LNK0141
    I think, for you Organization related table CRMM_BUT_LNK0141 would be useful.
    From this table you will get Sales Org, Division, Distribution Channel.
    And in order to get Sales Office of BP, you will get it from table CRMM_BUT_SET0140 where you can put set_guid fetched from CRMM_BUT_LNK0141

  • Sales area Upload CRM to SAP R/3 Middleware

    Dear SDN team,
    We are facing a Unique Isssue when replicating a Sales area data of a BP from CRM to SAP R/3 .
    The versions are SAP CRM 5.2 and SAP R/3 4.6c
    Problem : We have created a BP with Role "Prospect" initially in CRM and added a Sales area to same using CRM Web UI. Now we upgrade the Prospect to a Role "Sold to Party" and later deleted the old Prospect role .
    Through Middleware Delta events , the Business Partner in Role "sold to party" is successfully getting replicated to SAP R/3 system with General data .
    But the Sales area is missing . Why is this ??
    One more point is that , when we manually change the Sales area in CRM again and save the changes made , the Sales area is flowing into SAP R/3 system automatically . this is strange for us !!
    Why is the Sales area not getting replicated into SAP R/3 system automatically whereas the General data of the BP is getting replicated ??
    Please help us ..Point will be rewarded for the correct answer.

  • Sales Area is not visible in CRM for the products downloaded from R/3

    Hi Experts,
    Our client is using CRM 2007 and R/3 4.7.
    connectivity was established via Middleware.
    Before downloading the materials from R/3 we have done the following things
    1. Following customizing objects were downloaded
    DNL_CUST_PROD0
    DNL_CUST_PROD1
    DNL_CUST_PROD3
    DNL_CUST_SALES
    DNL_CUST_S_AREA
    2. Org structure was copied from R/3 using the Tcode - CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE.
    3. All the required sales are were correctly maintained( Downloaded ) in the org structure and under attributes tab " Object permitted for determination was selected".
    4. Executed the report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE.
    After down loading the materials also we have executed the above report.
    But the sales area details are not coming with the product.
    Not: If I try to create a product in CRM I was not able to assign Sales area, ASSIGN button was in disabled mode.
    Could you please guide me to solve this issue.

    Can you please check if all the condition tables are replicated correctly from R/3 to CRM. Eg ZDNL_COND_A805 and DNL_COND_A191.
    I hope the initial download for the same would be completed.
    Because there might be some fields relating to Material and Sales Area in these condition tables, which might not have moved to CRM.
    Thats the reason I am asking to check.
