CRM Smartform - standard text in variable window

Hi ,
I have a requirement in CRM Technical. In a variable window, there is an include text used to print the long text . The issue is that it is printing only few lines and not all the lines it should have printed as maintained in the database text.
All the text maintained needs to be printed. If the text do not fit in the space allowed ,then the entire text needs to be printed on separate page.
Is it possible? and how?

If you use varibale vindow(secondary) then if the data exceed size of window data will get truncated.
USe main window ,now include text within main window,for main window if data size is more than main window automatic triggering will take place and data will print in next page

Standard text in the Window not Printing...

Hi,
I have two pages in a scripts . In the First page I have 10 windows.But in the windows section , I have total 18 windows.
In the windows sections i have a window with name ' WINDOW3'. But it is not there in the Page windows menas it is not there in the First page. But the data is coming.
in the same way , I have one more window 'WINDOW4'. It has standard text. it is also not there in the first page of Page windows. It is not printing.
Why the Standard text is not printing ?
The same Standard text is printing in another script..
Paragraph format ever thing is good ...
if the window is not there in the page window , will it print or not ..?

Even though the Window is not there in Page windows, it is printing for some windows like window4.
Why it is happening ...?
Layout is customized but print program is stanadard...

SAPScript - moving standard texts inside a window

Hi!
I have a standard text (logo image) in Header window and I would like to move it right, how to do it? Should I create a separate window just for logo or it is ok to move it inside Header window?
Seems so that by default it is aligned left.

If the window is only having the LOGO,
Then the best approach will be to move the window iteself..
Goto the page where the window is used..
Double click on window name and it will be hilighted..
Now, see at the down you will be able to see Left Margin and Right margin..
Make changes to Left Margin, save, activate and and goto-->utilities->test print..
Adjust the window accordingly by changing the margin value and test print..
And..
No need to change anything in the window elements.
It should only have
/: INCLUDE .....

When I passed standard text statically, it is working.
But the same parameters when I pass through include command it is not working.

I want to use standard texts ,which were created under Tcode SO10, alone to display output without using them in any of the script or smartforms.Also i want to nw that , is it possible to use Variables inside standard text,which r really exist in report,report is through which i want to make use of ths Texts .The variable are / shuld be local to this program...

Dynamic STANDARD TEXT in scripts

Hi friends,
         I have to include standard text in the script corresponding to the company code. For example if company code = 6100, I have to include standard text SD_6100, or else if 2000 I have to include SD_2000. Here I can use IF statement. But If company codes are 20 or 30 then it is difficult to write that many IF statements. And in future if they increased the company codes then we should write one more if statement.So is there any method to include the STANDARD TEXT dynamically.

create the standard text in tcode SO10 .
now u can create this with respect to company code
/: case & - bukrs&
/:    when '20'
    text
/:   when '30'
    text for 30
/:   endcase.
so by doing this u ll trigger the corresponding text for company code .
now to include the std text in your form
just call the standard text IN THAT WINDOW AS ...
/: INCLUDE Z_XXXXX OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE EN
remarks,
Dynamically if u want to trigger the standard text u can go for IF end if logic as u stated or a case endcase..
there is no alternate .

Hi,
When you are using quantity or currency fields, you have to mentiong the reference fileds in a tab called CURRENCY/QUANTITY FILEDS in the GLOBAL DATA node.
Specifying a Currency or Quantity Reference
Use
In the ABAP Dictionary, you can assign a currency or quantity field to a table field. In the output of these fields, the system can then insert the relevant currency or unit:
·        If the value field is in the same table as the corresponding currency or quantity field, the system recognizes the reference automatically, and formats the value field according to the currency or unit in the assigned field.
·        If the value field is in a different table from the currency or quantity field, the system cannot recognize this reference automatically.
In the second case, you must indicate this reference to the system in the form, to ensure that the value field is formatted correctly.
Procedure
You want to assign a currency or quantity field in one table (for example, CURTAB) to a value field in another table (for example, VALTAB).
       1.      Create the reference to the currency field by entering the following values:
-         Field Name: VALTAB-VALUE, if this is the value field of VALTAB that you want to display.
-         Reference Field: CURTAB-CURRENCY, which is the currency field of CURTAB.
       2.      Under Data Type, specify whether the data type is a currency or quantity.
Result
In the output of the PDF-based print form, the system formats the value field VALTAB-VALUE according to the assigned value in the currency or quantity field of the global variable CURTAB-CURRENCY.

Creating the Standard Text:
Go to SO10
1. Enter Text Name. For example, ZABC
2. Text ID ST
3. Language EN
Click on Create.
And enter the Required Information and save.
To include a Standard text in SmartForm.
Follow the steps below:
1. Create a text node in the window.
2. Under general attributes select "Include text" as Type.
3. Specify the fields under Text.
Text Name ZABC
Text Object TEXT
Text ID ST
Language EN.

Standard text in Smartform Vs. SapScript.

I am experiencing an issue regarding standard texts in forms. If we were to create the text and format it in a certain way it may display in a SapScript form correctly, but in the Smartform it will be a little off. This also happens the other way around. Has anybody found a way to resolve this so that the formatted text displays the same way in both types of forms?

Thanks for your response, yes the window is wide enough. What it seems to be is mainly in the tabs of the standard text. For example...
Here is some text,,,,,,More text
some txt,,,,,,More
In a SapScript it may show:
*I am using periods because simply using spaces is ignored. Disregard the periods.
Here is some text...............................More text
some txt............................................More
where in a smartform it would show something like
Here is some text..............................More text
some txt ..............More
In these cases, the width of the window in which the text is displayed is more than adequate. If I format it so that it will display correctly in the Smartform, then it would be mis-formatted in the SapScript

To Include Standard Text in TEXT Field of SMARTFORM

Hi,
I have a requirement to include a Standard text inside a TEXT field. The name of standard text is ZSD_CMR_&VSTEL&_STATISTICAL where for VSTEL we should put the respective work area field like ZSD_CMR_&W_LIKP-VSTEL&_STATISTICAL .
But while executing the Form its giving Error that STD text does not exist.
The Requirment is like - shipping point (LIKP_VSTEL) of the delivery to identify the standard text. So, if a doucument for a delivery for shipping point 3114 is printed, it should come with the contents of ZSD_CMR_3114 STATISTICAL In case the shipping point is 3112 it shoukd be ZSDCMR_3112 _STATISTICAL.
Can you please let me know how to include Std Text inside the TEXT, I mean SYNTAX .

Hi Avi,
Lets take the example the standard text 'ZSD_CMR_3114 _STATISTICAL' then with this standard text get the TDOBJECT,TDNAME,TDID and TDPRAS from STXH table.
In the Smartform, goto TEXT->General Attributes Tab.
Select Type to be Include Text from the drop down list.
Then give the Text Name, Text Object, Text ID and Language.
Your Standard Text whcih you maintain in S010 will be displayed in the smartform window.

Printing Standard TEXT with multiple paragraphs in smartform

Hello all,
I have a requirement that, there is a very long standard text stored in a notification of an order in SAP ISU system. The text contains multiple paragraphs with indentations. I want to print this text directly into the smartform WITH SAME INDENTATION AND PARAGRAPH FORMATTING.
First i am reading the entire text using FM READ_TEXT.
My first problem is even if i read the text into a variable of type STRING , it just prints 255 characters of it.
And secondly if i try to printout it using LOOP AT node in smartforms, it prints the entire content but without any formatting .
Please let me know whether it is possible to print standard text in smartforms or not

Well thanks for that but my replies got posted 2-3 times unknowingly, could'nt help it.
Coming to the problem, i guess you did not get my point when i say dynamic texts for each service order.
In my Report i am using LOOP AT ITAB ..where in itab i am storing a service order no i.e. ITAB-ORDER_NO
Now for every order there is standard text maintained in SO10 starting with order name
so my code goes like this.
LOOP AT ITAB.
CALL FUNCTION 'READ_TEXT'
EXPORTING
 ID = 'LTXT'
 LANGUAGE = 'E'
 NAME = ITAB-order_no
 OBJECT = 'QMSM'
TABLES
 LINES = LINES .
CALL <SMART FORM Fm>
ENDLOOP.
Hence whatever Standard text maintained for that service order i want to display it as it is in the smartform with same paragraphs formatting and indentation.
IF i use a variable in smartform and pass the entire text after using READ_TEXT , it does not format the text and it just prints only 255 characters even if i define it of type STRING .
Hence i am stuck in this scenario.

I want to print Invoice header text in main window of smartform.
There are total 5 columns.

Now what I want is to print header text below Description column, there is a loop on the table in main window.
This header text will be printed only once. This is a standard header text

So please use TABLE instead of LOOP in the table we can prin header, main area, footer.
place the header text in header area in table... i am sure this can resolve it.....

Dynamic Standard text - Appending text with variable

Dear All,
We have a dynamic standard text. The text is being created based on sales order (I don't know how this has been created). Now I want to add text inside the standard text. That text will also contain variable.
Example: "This is a valid sales order 100010000". This is a standard text where the sales order value is fed dynamically, I don't know how?
Now the objective is to add another field "abcd" in the standard text with some other fixed texts. Eg. "I want to add my name sy-uname". So the entire text should be as:-
"This is a valid sales order 100010000. I want to add my name sy-uname."
1. I am not sure how to identify the original standard text. I would like to add second line there.
2. I would like to pass variable value dynamically in the standard text.
Please can you help me out in solving the issues.

Could you please be clear with your question so that some one can provide you with best solution quickly.
I am assuming that when your sales order is being created at the same time ,your dynamic standard text is generated .So now you want to amend this standard text just after the sales order is saved.If so then
Just go to the sales order text tab in change mode and click on the text eidtor window ,it will take to you sapscript editor ,Then from menu Goto-Header .From here you get the details of
Text Name
Language
Text ID
Text Object
Now Find the userexit after save and their use a read_text function module and read the standard text which is alreday created and take down in it_lines table and modify the text by appending your sy-uname line as second line or you can concetante on the same line. Now then use the save_text function module and save the standard text.
You can use the exit MV45AFZZ In that routine FORM userexit_save_document..

Im able to get the standard text logo in SAPSCRIPT used follwing command in text editor.
v_logo is dynamic variable.

But in smartforms im unable to get the Standard text logo used following steps...
in Include text node
A) Text name : &V_LOGO& <
B) Text object : TEXT >
C) Text ID : ST >
D) Text Language : EN >
Why????
What are the further steps needed??

Tcode SE78 is used to import graphics into the SAP system. The transaction imports the graphics and stores it
in the BDS (business transaction server) and then it can be displayed in the form.
· To create the graphic node , call the context menu for that node in the tree structure and choose create-
>graphic
· Enter a name (LOGO) for the node and the description (Logo Graphic)
· On the general attributes determine whether a colored or a black and white
· On General Attributes use the fields object - GRPAHIC, id u2013 BMAP and name - &G_LOGO& to identify the
graphic. &G_LOGO& is variable and therefore we can print company code specific logo. Program line preceding
the graphic is required.
