CRM Specific Transaction Types in the Transaction Launcher

I want to use the transaction launcher to create specific CRM transaction type (example: 0000 - Business Activity) logical links to be available for use in work center pages. I would like the ability to directly create these transactions (from the work center page) instead of selecting the "Create" link and choosing from the list of available transactions. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bryan

Hi Bryan,
You can do so by selecting/adjusting Direct Links under 'Adjust Direct Link Groups>Adjust Direct Link>Create' option for any selected business role. You can do this activity using Tx: CRMC_UI_PROFILE
Hope this helps your query.

• Okc/okx table that contains Transaction Type from the pricing/billing tab

We are running 11.5.9 EBS, and the module is Service Contracts Authoring.
I have a sql script that pulls data from the header and subline level for service contracts. If possible I would like to get the Transaction Type form the Pricing/Billing Tab. Summary > Pricing/Billing - submenu "Billing". I have not been able to find a table in OKC or OKX that contains this Transaction Type ID which can be tied back the cust_trx_type_id in the AR.RA_CUST_TRX_TYPES_ALL and in turn get the NAME for the transaction.

I'm not sure where the cust_trx_type_id would be stored in OKC/OKS tables, but the table OKS_BILL_TRANSACTIONS stores the trx_number that you can link to ra_customer_trx_all and get the cust_trx_type_id.

• Change transaction type group for transaction type

Hi
Is it possible to change the transaction type group for a TTY.For ex i want to change for 270 and 151 -TTY GRP -32 and 33 respectively. As of now it is TTY grp is 25 and 10.I need to change this so that in Asset history sheet when i do ABT1N i want these values to be in field transfer and not in acquisition and retirement in respective company codes.
Where is TTY grp are set for TTY.Can it be modified. Please suggest.

For creating transaction type see the wiki.
In the transaction types you assign them!
For 151
SPRO:
Financial Accounting / Asset Accounting / Transactions / Acquisitions / Define Transaction Types for Acquisitions.
Assign there the asst hist group you need for this transaction type
For 270
SPRO:
Financial Accounting / Asset Accounting / Transactions / Retirements / Define Transaction Types for Retirements
Assign there the asst hist group you need for this transaction type

• Creating a query that provides a default transaction type for those transactions not categorized?

How could I create a query that provides a default transaction type for those transactions not categorized?
So assuming I have:
* Transactions table (with transactions)
* Categories table
* transactions_categories table - allows to allocate multiple categories (with a percentage)
- tranactionID
- categoryID
- percentageAllocation
* Usage is such that only non-personal categories have been applied through out data. So there is a lot of transactions with no categories applied
Aim:
* Want to create a query that creates a list of all the allocated amounts, so would include as columns: transaction.tDate, transaction.tTitle, categories.name, allocatedAmount(calculated from percentage * transaction amount)
BUT:
* How could I include in the query, the entries that cover all transaction that haven't been allocated, to a default category "personal", where the allocated Amount would be 100% of the transaction value
* And also (if it were possible), for transactions that have been categorized but not for the complete transaction value (say only 50% was allocated to a category), how to to cover this off to.

To default the value of the category:
select IIf(IsNull(Category),"Personal",Category) as Category,IIf(IsNull(Category),"100%",PercentageAllocation
) as PercentageAllocation from [yourtable]
What do you want to put the values of these ones:
And also (if it were possible), for transactions that have been categorized but not for the complete transaction
value (say only 50% was allocated to a category), how to to cover this off to.

• Transaction type for the legacy data for Auc

Dear Experts,
When i use the AS91 to load the legacy for Auc, the system issues the error ' Trans. type 900 can only be used for legacy assets from prev. years'
The asset value data is '2011/04/05', the transaction type is 900. The asset transfer data is '2011/04/25'
Should I have to use the transaction for the Auc's legacy data input? Can i choose other transaction tpye like 100?
Br
Sophie

Hi
100 is used for uploading Non AUC assets
900 is used for AUC.. AS per SAP recommendation, 01/01/20xx to be used when uploading AUC... I misplaced that SAP note which says so
Normally changing the asset val date impacts the dep calculation.. Since, AUC has 0000 dep key, it does not impact Dep calculation

• For a specific PO type, trigger the workflow

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement, for a specific PO type WF should be triggered.
In my case, I am using BUS2012 for PO type.
In basic data->start evenets, I add BOR Object as BUS2012 and even as CREATED.
Now, when I click on conditions, I do not see BSART/PO type as one of the attributes of the std business object.
In this case, what additional needs to be done or is there any other way to do this?

Hello,
If you cannot find a suitable attribute in your business object (in this case BSART), the normal way to do this is to add this new field to the business object in SWO1. Since you cannot modify SAP standard object, you can create a Z-version (BUS2012) of it. This must be a subtype of the standard object and you must do a so called delegation between the standard and custom object. Delegation means that your system starts to use the Z-version instead of the standard one, and thus you can use all methods/attributes that you create in your Z-object. In any case, this is absolutely basic stuff for any WF developer and you should find lots of instructions how to do this by searching.
Once you have the Z-version done & delegated, just add the new attribute BSART to it, and you are free to use it in your conditions.

• How to setup a routing rule for a specific file type for the content organizer?

Hello,
how can I set a routing rule for a specific file type, for example for "pdf" or for "docx", for my content organizer?
As standard I can only choose for the rules the content type, name and title of the file uploaded.
Thank you in advance!

Hi Johny,
Based on your description, my understanding is that you want to create a routing rule for a specific file type.
I recommend to create rules with the conditions as the image below shows for the Document content type(for example: .docx files):

• Can I create a list which counts the number of documents of a specific metadata type by the folder they are stored within?

Running SP2013 Foundation. My users interact by uploading documents to personal folders within a document library, selecting the type of document they have uploaded via a lookup column and SP list. I have two levels of view in my library, a top level view
and an in-folder view which contains the metadata and standard document information like version and modified date etc.
Currently I am able to count the total number of documents that have been uploaded of a particular document type against my document type list, but I would also like to include folder along with document type to thoroughly track document returns by folder
name. The desired output being a list with a count of document type uploaded by folder name.
I have tried creating an associated user column at the top level view and also uploading an associated user and folder name list.
Is this possible and how would I go about this?
Many thanks for any assistance

• Question: No transaction type listed during creation new transaction

Per below screen, when I try to create a new transaction via CRMD_ORDER, but it seems blank on the type list..
Any advice what is the issue about, thanks.

Hi Peter ,
The new transaction type should be created first via spro settings and the same can be added in CRMD_ORDER transaction via navigating to settings and " Specfic" tab maintaining the newly created transaction type .Once done the button is available for the newly added transaction type and the transaction can now be created .
Also make sure in the customising while defining the transaction type it should not be set to inactive (falg should not be marked ) along with this the channel - "GUI CRM Webclient UI "should be mainatined for the transaction type in customising so that the same is availble in CRMD_ORDER .
Hope this will help .

• How to use Z transaction type while in the Transaction launcher Wizard?

In SPRO->CRM->Transactions->Basic Settings->Define transaction Types I can see a whole host of Z transaction types.
These define all sorts of business transaction defaults. Within the Transaction launcher Wizard there is a Transaction Type that can be entered, but I can only see three options, being 'BOR Transaction', 'URL Transaction' and ' M', for some reason. None of the transaction types shown in the above SPRO path are displayed.
Does anyone know how I can use my Z transation type. These are used by the config behind the Action Boxes for the Winclient IC, but I can not get the Transaction launcher wizard to see or use these. The SAP How-to Guide to tha Transaction Launcher says that only BOR and URL Transactions can be used (unless you have IS-U). If this is true then how does one provide all the information provided by the Transaction type. The whole idea of the transaction type is default this information in one area.
Anyone.
Jason

I think it is possible.
In CRMC_UI_NBLINKS if you look at the logical links you can see that SRV-ORD-DC has a Parameter of 'SRVO' with a certain Parameter Class.
If you were to check SPRO->CRM->Transactions_Basic Settings->Transaction Types you will see that SRVO exists as an entry. This logical ink is therefore using this Transaction type to extract characteristics etc.
Having said that, I need to call the sales order create with a certain transaction type, so I copied SLS-SLO-CR to a Z copy, added the Parameter of 'Z111' and also used the Parameter class of CL_CRM_UIU_BT_PARAM_CREATE.
This should now, in theory all work, and show the exact same transaction in the Webclient IC as it does in the Winclient IC as they are both using the same Transaction type. However, the Webclient transaction looks different in terms of fields etc., so I don't think it's working. after all.

• Using table CRMC_PROC_TYPE within the transaction launcher...

Table CRMC_PROC_TYPE contains all sorts of interesting fields, namely:
Number range Internal
Number rnage External
User stat procedure
Text Procedure
Partner determination Pocedure
Object type
Time and Action profile
Org Profile ID
This table is used by the oler Action Boxes (forerunner to the transaction launcher).
The key field for the above table is the Process type. I would like to forward the process type to the transaction and set this up within the transaction launcher, but so far all attempts have failed. The action boxes as used by the Winclient IC stil work, even in CRM 7, so one assumes that the same functionality can be configured in some way within the transaction launcher.
I have found documentation, comments, guides on this subject, so this is my plea to anyone who may know how to achieve this.
Jason

hi anindya,
the description of transaction type you can get it from table CRMC_PROC_TYPE_T
just query to this table by the transaction type
hopes it helps

• Transaction type called by ITS - Transaction Launcher

Hello guys,
In the ICWC in CRM 5.0 what transaction type could we call with ITS by Transaction Launcher?
For example, I know that we can call transaction like ppoma_crm, bp, is01, but if we defined Z transaction type in the path SPRO » CRM » Transactions » Basic settings » Define Transaction Types, could we call this transactions by ITS in Transaction Launcher?
Could you take off me this doubt?
Best Regards,
Mary

Hi
The transaction launcher allows to connect to any remote CRM ERP or R/3 transaction as well as URLs to a navigation bar. Thus, the remote transactions can be maintained directly in IC WebClient.
Any link entry of the navigation bar that is supposed to call the transaction launcher needs a navigation bar entry that points to a launch transaction ID. Here the details of the transaction to be launched are described: the launch transaction type, the type of object to be called the method (like create, display, change) and possibly parameters to be passed to the transactions. These settings can be configured using the transaction launcher wizard.
Transaction launcher supports two types of transaction
a. Launching pages of People Centric CRM
b. Launching BOR transactions of CRM or any remote SAP system
Path is IMGCRMInteraction Center WebClientBasic Functions Transaction Launcher Configure Transaction Launcher (Wizard)
Business Transaction Profile (Name should be in Capital)
Three standard buttons in the navigation profile navigate to the views of the CRM business transactions
a. Interaction Record: - stores communication related data of communication channels.
b. Sales Document: - includes quotations and order status and stores all sales items the customer wants to order.
c. Service Document: - It represents the service aspect of a phone call.
The business transaction profile is controlling which CRM business transaction type is linked to the navigation bar buttons.
You can assign the interaction record and the sales or service transaction types in two different ways:
a. A sales and/or service document will only be created if the agent presses sales and/or service in the navigation bar and makes entries to these documents.
b. The sales and/or service documents will be saved as individual documents. Interaction record, sales, and service documents are stored by separate document IDs and are connected by the data flow.
Path is IMGCRMInteraction Center WebClientBusiness Transactions Define Business Transaction Profiles
Hope this helps

• CRM 2007 : Diff. Transaction Type = Diff. Configuration

Hi,
I'm working on CRM 2007 Web UI. I want to have a diffrerent configuration for different transaction type with the same business object type.
i.e. service order 1, ZSR1 and service order 2, ZSR2 must have different configuration on the web UI.
Does someone know ?
thanks

I solved by myself.
You do this by copying your configuration. While you are copying the configuration you must give as parameters :
1. Your Role Configuration Key (if you are using one)
2. Object Type (e.g. BT116_SRVO)
3. Object Subtype (e.g. ZSR1 or ZSR2)
Then you can configure it diferently.
hope this helps others..
