CRM Table for Transactional data

Hi experts,
I m looking for a Table in CRM where i'll get all the transaction related data(i.e.All partners, products, status, process types etc) like we have FM CRM_ORDER_READ from this we can get all the tranaction related data.

Vivan,
The answers above are correct, CRM does not store all the data in one table like ERP. As far as the factsheet the data is stored across several different areas. So you need to tell us what part of the factsheet data you are looking for and you might get an answer.
In the future please do a search before asking, or make sure your question is more detailed as your original question was too broad for anyone to provide a reasonable answer.

I entered into the TC : ST05, Activated the trace then I created a customer, then I came back and deactivated trace, then I clicked on display it gave me a list ( yellow color list ) ... Wat do u mean by update methods here ...

Set up table and transaction data delta load init

Dear experts,
I am following a document left by my predecessor on "post processing activities" for BI prod post go-live.
And for transaction data it says to :
1. execute init with data transfer infopack manually
2. execute delta update infopack manually
3. go to ECC : delete setup data (lbwg)
4. setup the tables for (OLIxxBW)
5. then finally activate Process chains.
Is this sequence correct?
Shouldn't I first delete the setup table, setup the tables and then execute the infopackages??

Hi,
The sequence is correct ,and after this you need to run the job for the collective run in SAP ,which is based on your delta queue.
i.e if you choose direct delta it is not required ,but if you use 'queued delta' then you need to run the collective run to move the delta from the extraction queue to delta queue .This job should run before the delta load.
It is better to fill the set-up table during downtime .ie.no documents posted during the set-up table run. But if you dont have an option you can fill the set-up table during operation hours ,but need fo follow certain steps to get all the delta data. You may need to use 'Init without delta transfer' or early delta initialization in the infopackage .You need ODS as a data target to achieve this . Please search SDN ,you will get more information about this.

Master data tables and Transaction data Tables

Hello Gurus,
Please let me know how to know which table belongs to master data and which table belongs to transaction data.
for FICO module.
Does any one have specific material relating to master data table and transaction data tables.

Modeling "Status" for transaction data in a cube

Hello all,
I saw this thread created sometime ago about putting status in a cube.
How to model Status filed
I would like model a status of transactions within a cube. One suggestion was to just create a CHAR characteristic of a certain length (I assume this would be in the E and F fact tables and not with the master data at all).
To me, this would mean that if the status changed, a whole new row would have to be loaded - and the old row removed? Would one use some kind of selective deletinon?
It seems that a navigational attribute would be best placed in the E/F fact tables.

@kkc - thanks for the reply but I already knew about the E and F fact tables - I just did not know that compression takes care of the status field
@Wond - Above you said "Yes it will be a whole new record will be sitting in the cube, once the status changes the cube will have three records when doing compression the two will wipe out itself and you will remain with one."
So how does it decide which record stays around? By the loading date? Also, is there any good documentation out there that would say this?

Data Type field read only in Data source for transaction data (PC_FILE)

Hi folks,
I need to change Data Type for some of the fields in "Field" tab in data source for transactional data. It became read only after I activate the data source. Need help in making it editable. All fields now have Data type=CHAR.

ALE Configuration for Transactional Data (Purchase Order)

Dear Experts,
I want to configure ALE for Purchase Orders(Transactional Data).
For that:
I have done neccessary Condition Records at NACE with necessary Output Type Configuration. Configured Port and Partner Profile with Message Types: ORDERS and ORDECHG (as Outbound Parametrs) .Assigned those Message Types against defined Sender and the Receiver at Customer Distribution Model . Configured Port and Partner Profile at the Receiver System also.
Now I have 2 queries.
i) Is this much of ALE configuration is enough for Transactional Data for communication between 2 systems or I have to do something more?
ii) For Master Data we configure Change Pointer(we can see field assignments against Change Document Object at BD52 for Master Data Messaage Types) . Is it necessary to configure Change Pointer for Transactional Data or it will autometically handled by the system(field assignments cannot be seen against Change Document Objects at BD52 for Transactional Data Messaage Types)?

Hi all, I need to know about tables for transaction CJ30.(Project System). I need to create a report. This report must include original budget, distributable, assigned, cumulative. I need to know too, the way how these tables are associeted with tables PROJ and PRPS.

First, you have to get all the objects of the perticular project
you can achieve this by using this function module 'GET_PS_OBJECTNUMBER'
You can use RPSCO tabe only and filter all object number which you have got from above function module,
To get all the project value.
you have to set WRTTP field according to requirement.

Problem in data sources for transaction data through flat file

While creating the data sources for transaction data through flat file, I am getting the following error "Error 'The argument '1519,05' cannot be interpreted as anumber' while assigning character to application structure" Message no. RSDS016
If any one come across this issue, please provide me the solution.

I had the same problem.
Have changed the field type from CURR to DEC and have set external instead of internal.
Then, the import with flatfile worked fine.

To find tables for any infoprvider go to SE11.
In database table field enter the following
Cube -
Has fact table and dimension table
For customized cube - ie cube names not starting with ' 0 '
Uncompressed Fact table - /BIC/F<infocubename>
Compressed fact table - /BIC/E<infocubename>
Dimension table - /BIC/D<infocubename>
For standard cube - ie cube names starting with ' 0 '
Uncompressed Fact table - /BI0/F<infocubename>
Compressed fact table - /BI0/E<infocubename>
Dimension table - /BI0/D<infocubename>
Click on display.
For DSO,
For standard DSO active table- /BI0/A<DSO name>00.
You use 40 for new table.
Click on display.
For customized DSO use- /BIC/A<DSO name>00.
An easier way is in the database table field, write the name of the cube/DSO preceeded and followed by ' * ' sign. Then press F4 . It shall give you the names of the available table for that info provider.
Double click on the name and choose display.
