CRM to BW Extraction

Hello Gurus,
I never done the extraction of data from CRM to BW. I am very new to CRM area. I need to work on Services, Warranty, Call Center, IBase, Interaction Center, Opportinuties. Can you guys please help me to provide any kind of document or help is highly appreciated. Somebody is saying CR900 is good resource. If anybody has the document, can you please send it to me. I got the requiremnet and try to find the datasources in business content. I don't have any idea about CRM. Please help me.

CR900 is good even must read document for CRM analytics, it will give you clear idea for BW-CRM integration, bw adapter,marketing,sales,services,IBase etc.

CRM Master Data Extraction

Dear all,
Can anyone help me with how to paper about CRM Master Data Extraction? I need to know on how to extract Business Partner and its attributes (Relationship, Address and others), also on how to extract CRM Marketing Attributes for Business Partner.

I haven't found any conclusive document about loading Business Partner from CRM 4.0 to BW 3.5. If there is someone out there who knows about that documentation I would really appreciate it.
Here is what we did regarding BP relations, marketing attributes and addresses:
1. Marketing attributes:
These data type is difficult, because you have to build a special extractor for each marketing attribute group. And because Marketing attributes cannot be transported, you cannot transport the extractor. This poses a big problem in many projects. Therefore we solved it by creating some view extractors on the appropriate CRM tables: AUSP, CABN, KSML, KLAH. I can give you some more details, if this will help.
2. BP relations:
We build a view extractor for this too, because it was much easier to extract the data from BUT050 and BUT051 than trying to find out, how the business content extractors do their work. Using this extractor, we build some special ODS and InfoCubes for the relations we were interested in.
There is Business content for BP relations, but we kept to the generic extractors, because they were easier to verify.
3. BP adresses:
We use 0CRM_BPDEFADDR_ATTR to get the primary address.
We use 0CRM_BPART_ATTR to get BP master data
We use 0CRM_BPART_TEXT to get BP text.
We have only about 300.000 BP in CRM, so we do a full update everyday.
I am not sure, if these three data sources are part of the current BW 3.5 business content, because we started with BW 3.0 and did not check for BC updates.

CRM Survey Data Extraction

Hi,
I am going to extract CRM Survey data.The questionnaire is created in CRM using CRM_SURVEY_SUIT and the same is used in opportunity transaction. I am using 0SVY_DATA_1 to extract the survey data.But the keyfigure values filled in the survey form are not getting captured in the datasource.Please let me know where exactly the answers in questionnare are getting stored in CRM.

CRM - BI Data Extraction Problem

Hi Gurus,
We have CRM 2007 and BI 7.0. We have activated all the DS and also replicated them in BW and also activated all the necessary Infocubes in and Transfer rules etc.
In CRM, the data is available in service order header table but when I check in RSA3 for the 0CRM_SRV_PROCESS_H Data Source, it displays as 0 records.
Hence I am unable to load the data into BI.
And when I try to check the Master datasources in RSA3 then, the data is available, but I am unable to extract to BW.
Would be of great help if someone can guide me if we missed any necessary settings or configurations that have to be performed in CRM or BI system.

Hi,
There is one additional step that you have to performat CRM side before replicating the data source.You have to enable the metadata then only u can extract data from CRM.
*Follow the below steps:*
Go to SBIW in CRM, in the tree choose metadata adapter.Up on clicking it will populate the list of datasources,find your datasource and select the check box besides you datasource and save this.
Now replicate you datasource again, activate the transfer rules by using the program RS_TRNSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL.
Now try the load it will work.

CRM - BI Data Extraction Issue

CRM to BW extract - All Duration amounts are zero using 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1

Hello,
We are implementing the "CRM 4.0 Interaction Center with Winclient" and are using BW 3.1 for reporting. The problem we are encountering is we are getting "DURATION" and "Face to Face Duration" amounts that are ZERO when extracting call center activity data using the data source 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1. This data source feeds into the ODS 0SAL_DS01. We are expecting the "Duration" amounts to be non-zero and represent the time the call center agent worked on a particular activity. The data we are testing with has been entered manually and we are not yet connected using telephony server (so we cannot use the CTI data yet).
Any help regarding how I might solve this problem would greatly be appreciated. Possibly this is a CRM configuration issue but don't know.

Hi Silvio,
I've experienced a similar problem with this extractor. I attempted to Initialize Delta with Data Transfer to no avail. The job ran for 12+ hours and stayed in "yellow" status (0 records extracted). The following steps worked for me:
1. Initialize Delta without Data Transfer
2. Run Delta Update
3. Run Full Update and Indicate Request as Repair Request
Worked like a champ, data load finished in less than 2 minutes.

CRM Datasource not extracting any delta

Hi all,
We have implemented BI content for CRM. We did an initial load to our info provide with no issue and all data are correctly extracted. Then we went on to test the delta of it, it does seem to retrieve any records even when there are changes in the transaction system.
We went into RSA7 and we see no delta is Queued as well. We were wondering what was wrong.
We specifically test on 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1, 0CRM_LEAD_H, 0CRM_LEAD_I and 0CRM_LEAD_ATTR
Any gurus can shed some light here?

I believe that these data sources are Delta capable. First check the same in ROOSOURCE table.
Normally once the initialization is done and the changes are available in the system then the delta data should be present in RSA7. Here in this case, you can wait for some time and then try loading the data.
As in the case of LO we have Extraction/Update queues are there but not for CRM data sources. So wait for some time to update the data into RSA7.
Tell us onething when did the changes in the records happend?

CRM Datasource - no extraction happening

Folks,
I am using CRM Standard Datasource 0CMS_RTCM_TRAN-Resale Tracking and Claims Management data..
I have enhanced this Datasource with four fields and transported to Quality system..
no problem with the new additions..Datasource is extracting properly..
but Delta update is not working..Delta Queue is not picking any records..but new transactions are getting updated in the respective source tables..
when i checked in BWA1- am getting these messages:
error message:
(121) MS_RTCM_TRAN: Table SMOXHEAD contains no BDOC name.
Warning messages:
(111) MS_RTCM_TRAN: No mapping found for extract field SLSR_ADDRESS_I..similarily for all the Datasource fields, its showing the same no mapping warning..
Currently no data is been extracted and updated to PSA..
Can you please explain what could be the reason for this and suggest a proper solution..
Are there any transactions to change the BDOC name for Standard Datasources??..
In BWA1, when i tried to change these ADAPTER settings, i am getting this message:
"DataSource 0CMS_RTCM_TRAN cannot be edited with this transaction"..
i hope if i specify the BDOC name, Extraction should be happening..
so please suggest where i can perform these changes??..
Note : currently no extraction is happening because of this..

We are facing same issue, can anyone let me know what is BADI for this Data source 0CMS_RTCM_TRAN, I need BADI name where fields are mapped for this data source for delta update, we are unable to extract data through delta update but full upload is working

Further look if the Business COntent are standard SAP business contents, then simply form an RFC connection between the BW(R/3) Server and CRM server.
Transport the objects to CRM Bus Content repository and then activate them for use as required for Object modelling.
You can form Telecom KPI based standard reports like Churn,Profitability etc from such objects..

Problems in Extraction of CRM data to BW

Hi Gurus,
I am new to BW and I have a doubt,is it possible to extract realtime data from CRM to BW after the next minute of the insertion of data in CRM If not what will be the time duration between the data entry in CRM and to extract that data to BW. Lets say endusers have created BP/Activity in CRM at 5pm and I need to pull deltas to BW at 5:02 pm as they want report on it at 5:15pm is it possible if not what will be the gap between the realtime data entry and extraction of that data to BW. Would anyone please explain me in detail. I appreciate it in advance.

Universal Adapter for CRM

Dear All,
I am involved in a case recently that need to use Universal Adapter for CRM Analytics to extract data from a 3rd-party CRM system.
The subject area is Consumer Sector - Performance. According to BI Apps Installation and Configuration Guide, I need to populate some source files, such as file_costlst_g.csv, file_dual_g and so on. However, I don't know what exactly data that the source files needed and the Installation and Configuration Guide doesn't supply enough information about the source files.
Can some one give me the help to find any detailed documents or other resources about Universal Adapter and the source files of Universal Adapter ?

The Source files for Universal Adapter are always CSV files ...These are used for customizations...
Now coming to the configuration files follow the Installation and Configuration guide ... the parameters are there ...most of them
