It depends upon your functional experiance.
In CRM we do have eight core competencies.
In that you can choose which area you are interested .
You can do your certification or else training in the following:
CRM Marketing
CRM Sales
CRM Service
CRM Internet Sales
CRM Tele Sales

SAP SD + CRM training & certifications

Dear all,
I am new to this forum & i am interested in getting through SAP SD and SAP CRM certifications, i am a little confused about the timeline for the courses, i will break my doubts into points:
1) Is SAP SD training/certification necessary in order to go through CRM training?
2) What kind of functional experience is necessary for both the certifications? How does inside sales profile (with exposure to CRM system) stand as far as domain experience is concerned?
3) Should i go for Back to back training's of SD & CRM or should i work in SD profile for some time & then opt for CRM? How will the back to back training affect, both positively as well as negatively?
4) Also, instead of SDCRM, will SDMM or SD+PP certification path be better? (i only have sales & marketing exp, no MM or PP exp)
5) I noticed that CRM course is Instructor based & it is for 15 days, other functional courses such as SD,MM,FI etc are 25 days, what might be the difference?
6) The CRM course is quite expensive, INR 3,30,000 ($7000+), is it worth to invest in an authorized CRM program?
7) Apart from the authorized training programs, where else can i get additional knowledge on SD & CRM? Also, i believe that its difficult to know all the business processes in your respective domain, how can i enhance my knowledge on this?
8) What is the difference between CRM 7 & CRM 2007 certifications?
i know i have asked a lot of questions under one post, but i would really appreciate advice on these questions

From a CRM training course to do SAP BI life time projects

Hi, My name is Connie. I am currently doing Master's degree in Business Information Systems. I am working as a Software Tester. I did SAP CRM training as well but have no work experience on CRM. I recently got an opportunity to be exposed to real life projects on SAP but unfortunately it is not CRM that I did training for. I am required to do SAP BI. The question that I need advise on is that, is this a right switch? Can I take this opportunity and later divert to CRM? or must I wait for CRM projects that I don't know when will they come? Is BI a good module to go for, for a person of my background?

Hi Connie,
You can answer your own question (to a great extent) by checking how desperate you are about getting a break in the SAP world.
- If you comfortable(monetarily and mentally) and patient then you can continue to look of a CRM-related job. The future here is bright.
- If you something real quick and you have sufficient training provided in SAP BI/BW and you think you can handle it, then you can go ahead with BI. There's really good scope in BI. Since IT industry is all about expanding your horizon in the software world, you will eventually gather skills in SAP BO, HANA, Big Data etc. That is a good career progression in SAP.
Both have good career prospects. I suggest you read about SAP BI (if you have not already done) and see if that interests you.

If i were you for the best CRM training,even though its costly i would prefer Seimens,otherwise SAP Academy in Bangalore,they are pretty costly but still worth.

One doubt on CRM Workflow.

I have a clarification to be made.
Below are some requirements from a CRM project. Now we are planning to train some one to handle this part and essentialy his role is on Workflow. Now my doubt is whether this person should take CRM training or workflow training? One thing to note here is that the person does not have any CRM background also. So my question is whether this person needs to take Workflow training or CRM training( I am not sure whether CRM training has workflow in it) or something else(meaning first CRM and then Workflow, since the project is on CRM)?
The requirements are in bold.
1. Ability to define a Customer Program, including, but not limited to:
will adhere to role based security
informational program characteristics
program eligibility rules
technical prerequisites (e.g. equipment)
program specific options (e.g. bill protection)
enrollment related work flow steps and prerequisites
funding accounts
Comments : Standard SAP functionality. May need workflow
2.Ability to automatically enable or disable program functions.
Comments : Workflow or Actions can be used.
3.Ability to generate automated notifications/ticklers when program steps need to be taken.
Comments : Workflow or Actions can be defined to trigger Notification on certain events.
4. Notify appropriate Program Manager if measure factors or incentive rates are changed.
Comments : Need workflow or Actions to trigger this.
5. Associate the completed audits to actual programs and when applicable tie to a programs workflow requirements.
Comments : Link is Standard SAP Functionality and needs to define workflow.
6. Ability to generate customer communications based on triggers such as; dates, changes to customer information, work flow steps, etc.
Comments : Needs to develop workflow or actions to trigger Notifications on pre-defined rules.
7. Based on program, allow for multiple incentives or timed incentives based on workflow process completion steps.
Comments : Need to be configured in Rebate Processing

The steps which u have done al are correct
Find the information below for BWA1,BWA5 and BWA7
BWA1:
1.BW adapter which will give you meta data information and if you want to chnage any settings relatede to mapping or if you want add any BDOC mapping you can do by using this Tcode
2. We c an copy BW adapter data source and we can create custom BW adapter data data source by using copy function
3. We can change the selection conditions for the data source
4. we can bdoc mapping information under mapping tab,if you want to add any new field to map with new bdoc segment ,we have to map here;for ex if you want to extract Extractnal reference number from 0CRM_SRV_PROCESS_H data source
we have to follow below steps
1.enhance Extract structure
2.Add bdoc mapping in BWA1 with perticular BDOC segment for example Sales bdoc segment mapped with Extractnal reference number
3.Add code in Mapping module of data sourc eto fetch data or write code in Badi CRM_BWA_MFLOW to fetch data for newly added fields
BWA5:it will show all activated BW adapter data source information under ACTIVE tab
BWA7: it will have all BW adapter delta enabled data source information,if your data source is not available under BWA7 ,that means you didnt enable delta for the same (not intialized )
Table information:
SMOXAFLD: Field List: Key Attributes for BWA Master Data Delta Queue
for example : DISTR_CHAN, PRODUCT_GUID, SALES_ORG are key fields for data source 0CRM_PRODSL_ATTR
SMOXRELP:BWA: Use of Segments and Fields in DataSources
BDOC segment mapping information fro the data source (which u have used in BWA1 under mapping tab)
SMOXRELP_S: Shadow Table for Table smoxrelp
which will give information about BW selection whether we can use this field for BW selection for data loading iof its marked for selection u can see in rsa3 selections.

MS CRM 2105 server side synchronization

Hello ,
My online CRM is integrated with server side synchronization. The incoming and outgoing emails are working fine before.
But yesterday onwards the incoming emails are not receiving in to CRM. But I see the emails are exists in the exchange server.
I have tried with test and enable the Mailbox. From yesterday onward the status is still showing the
"the email configuration test is in progress".
I have a plugin which was triggering on email creation but in post operation, I have disabled the steps also.
But still the issue is not fixed.
Any help will be appreciated.

Unable to register custom workflow activity on MS CRM 2015 Online

Hi All,
I am trying to register custom workflow activity using plugin registration tool on MS CRM 2015 Online.
Error says that 'No Plugin have been selected from list. Please select atleast one and try again'
In short my assembly is not considered as custom workflow activity.

If you don't want to show search box over subgrid, make the relationship of your field required (what ever relationship you are using to show subgrid over your entity form).

Import 2015 crm solution in to 2013 crm(online)
