CRM transactions activation

Dear Experts,
I am new to CRM. I want to activate CRM transactions in my ERP system. I came to know that there is some SAP report which I have to schedule in background & which will run for few hours which will activate CRM settings in my system. Can you please let me know the name of the report. Thanks.

  • Error message when deleting Business transaction: Activity in CRM

    Hi All,
    I am trying to delete a couple of Activities from CRM (Production system) and encounter two error message: "Enter a Business Partner" and "Administration header not found."
    I have tried three ways to delete/archive the activity numbers in the system:
    1) Using T code: CRMD_ORDER and then while in change mode - trying to delete the activities. When I tried this I get a warning message: "Enter a Business Partner" after I hit enter the warning: "Administration header not found." comes up and then takes you to the Easy access Menu after hitting enter.
    2)   I used T code SE38 to open program: "CRM_Order_Delete", here I entered the activity #s that I want to delete, the Activity Transaction type, select check box "Parallel" and then execute. I see a job log which says "Number of archived records = 3", the log shows that no records were deleted.
    3) I have also tried archiving using T code SARA. But this also didn't seem to work. Here, I entered the Archiving object: CRM ACTON, then click on Preprocessing. I created a variant with the transaction type and activity numbers then set the start time to immediate and executed (F8) it. Even then I was not able to archive these activities. I did set the activities to status Complete.
    Am I missing something? Appreciate your help.

    Received response from SAP support partner:
    Please verify first if the issue is caused by badi implementation
    of ORDER_SAVE badi. Please check method prepare and check_before_save.
    Maybe inside your implementation the function crm_order_read is called
    but that is not possible in case of deleting a document as document is
    not available anymore.
    If that doesn't work try this one:
    Please check to see if you have a badi ORDER_SAVE method
    CHANGE_BEFORE_UPDATE. Please deactiviate the ORDER_SAVE Badi and retestthe deletion.
    This is how we resovled our issue - hope this helps someone else:
    Check using T Code: SE80 to look for a BADI implementation which used BADI: ORDER_SAVE:
    SE80-> Package: Z* (look for custom packages) -> Look under enhancements for any BADI Implementations which have used ORDER_SAVE (double click implementation and in the right pane look under Definition name).
    Click 'Change' and deactivate this implementaiton. Now try to delete the CRM transaction. The error msg should not pop up now. Once deletion is completed reactivate this implementation.
    This is just a work around. The problem lies in the code and the code within the implementation should be debugged and fixed so that this error message does not come up again.

    Hi Suri,
    You could use suspend/resume mechanism to jump to the ITS version of these transactions (in case they are ITS-enabled). Starting the SAPGUI from within the browser environment, transferring data/starting a transaction and then returning to the browser is not possible.

  • How to call a CRM transaction from WDA  component

    I have requirement where i need to open the CRM transaction CRMD_BUS2000126 from WDA with the object id selected in the context. To be more specific all i need to do is to open the activity screen of a particular give activity number from a WDA component.
    I have checked out the previous threads there is a solution how to fire a transaction from WDA, but i need to send a parameter to this transaction to open that particular activity number screen.
    please advice asap.

    Please make sure that flag attribute is under some node, say NODEA. NOW please select the interface node property and input element  of NODEA.
    now NODEA will be available in interface controller. Interface controller acts like a global  controller between two different components.
    So from interface controller you can take that flag value.

    Using status management, you can find out about the processing status of a business transaction, and change individual statuses. Each status informs you at header and item level that a specific status has occurred (for example, quotation has been released), and specifies which step may be executed next (for example, release is allowed).
    *user status*
    A status set by the user to complement the system status for a given status object.
    You can use only a user status belonging to a status profile (defined in Customizing) and assigned to the relevant status object.
    User statuses enable you to extend the control of business processes managed by the system status. You can set and delete user statuses manually when carrying out business transactions.
    *System Status*
    A status the SAP System sets internally as a part of general status management.
    This status tells the user that a certain business transaction was performed for an object.
    moreover using user status is customised,you can mainatian your own user uset status and control the system response as decided by the system status

    Currently we are replicating the ISU Contacts as Business activties in CRM and the numbe range that CRM business activites getting created in CRM is different to ISU Contacts. Could any one tell me how to check where this number range set up is maintained and also pls explain me what configurations are required to maintain the same numbe range of ISU contacts to Business activities in CRM.

    Hi Ravi,
    the number ranges are assigned in the customizing for the transaction in CRM (path: CRM > transactions > Basic settings > Define transaction types).
    The transaction type used for the CRM activity is defined in IS-U table BPCT_CRM_CLASS field ACT_PROCESS_TYPE. If you create the number range assigned to that transaction, you can create your activities in CRM in the same number range as the business contacts in IS-U. However, it is not possible in standard SAP to assign the same number to the activity in CRM as the original business contact in IS-U.

  • CRM - transaction BP - length of search term 1/2 (adress)

    I'm working on CRM, transaction BP. I've 2 roles for customer : person and organisation.
    Search term 1/2 is 20 caracters long.
    But, it seems to be possible to do customizing on search term. For example, in my environnemnent, customer person may have 20 caracters long search term ; but customer organisation must have less than 10 caracters (there is an error message if I put a more than 10 caracters search term).
    Could you tell me how in customizing I can control length of search term ?

    I dont think there is any customizing for this change in length. You can instead to achcek of length in dchck event of BDT.

    There is one CRM transaction whoze height is more in EP due to which scrolling is coming on page...
    can you let me know wch property shd be changed in that iview so tht height wll fit to page....
    I did changed heigh type to fixed and made it 80 px.
    but still there is no change while iview appears.
    iview is in WINGUI format and wch culdnt b chngd as its a req....

    CRM transaction have not company cord, so how to divide the data on BI report by company cord?
    Do I have to get the sales organization from customer master?
    Some transactions have not master data like lead. I want to know your experience.

    I should use the sales organization instead of company cord.
    But some business like lead from contact from customer can not separate the company, in situation one call center for multiple companies.
    We should use another field to divide the company. Ex. Product, campaign, etc.
    If someone knows better way to solve this issue, let me know the reply.

  • Custom Heirarchy on CRM Transaction type

    Hi Experts,
    We have got something to work on an Info Object called (CRM Transaction type-CRMTP) which has got a custom hierarchy on the source side (CRM System).
    Our task is to get that hierarchy in FI (COPA) area to use for some purpose.
    While this object has been added on the source at the COPA Operating concern level, it shows up as Business Transaction type (0CRM_PRCTYP) as the corresponding BI content for it.
    While looking into the Info Object (0CRM_PRCTYP) , it shows however that the object is not supported with any hierarchy though.
    When we tried to dig deeper and see that if there any Data source for this for the matter we could not find anything for Hierarchy (but one for Text 0CRM_PROC_TYPE_TEXT only).
    So at this point of time we were wondering if there is any data sources really available for the matter and if not what can be the optional way out if business determines it has to be done.
    we know maintaing some hierarchies in BI as a display one but that would take a toll given that if the no./Values can go in large for this and it can be very cumbersome process to maintain that if the changes are frequent on the source...
    Any ideas please what should be a threshold limit for maintaining a hierarchy on BI side in case and/or what should be the restrictive parameters please before going for any such ideas or if at all this would be a good idea please?

    In TR SE16 --> table tstc, we can see all the TCODEs, but I want to see only CRM related TCODE.

    Hi All,
    I had the issue about knowing the Tcodes in SAP CRM.
    I have tried by table TSTC and search by CRM.
    This gives me about 800 tcodes and that helped me.
    Go to Tcode SE16 and table name as TSTC and put CRM and press F4 on your keyboard.
    It will list the tcode for CRM.
    I know these are not all of the codes in CRM but this worked for me.

    In Transaction CRMD_ORDER while creating moification order from activation order, inside the ITEM Selection TAB in theOBJECT TAB following dump is coming.

        More than one radio button active
    What happened?
        The current screen processing action was terminated since a situation
        occurred where the application could not continue.
        This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program or in the current
        screen.
        While preparing the screen
        "SAPLCRM_SERVICE_ROB_UI" 7102 for screen display, it was detected that in a
         group of radio
        buttons, there is more than one field set.
    Error analysis
        In a group of selection fields (radio buttons), there must be always
        exactly one field set, that means, it must have the value 'X'.
        If that is not the case, then one of the following situations occurs:
        - Several selection fields of the group are set simultaneously.
          This is an error and leads to the termination of the application via
          the current short dump.
        - No selection field from the group is set:
          In this case, the first selection field is set by the system before
          screen output. This indicates careless programming of the
          application, but does not lead to an error situation.
    How to correct the error
        In this particular case it is about the checkbox
        "CRMT_7102_SRV_REFOBJ_UI-MAIN_OBJECT (2)"
        of the screen
        "SAPLCRM_SERVICE_ROB_UI" 7102 .
        In the group of the selection fields - where this field belongs to -
        another field is set, or even several.
        The application program
        "SAPLCRM_SERVICE_ROB_UI"
        must be corrected, so that it is guaranteed that in every group of
        selection fields, exactly one is set, that means, it has the value 'X'
        The other fields, which are not set, have the value SPACE.

    Could this be due to the fact that SAP GUI really isn't supported anymore in CRM 2007 for maintaining business transactions.  You probably need to post this in the CRM general & framework as this is more CRM SAP GUI question that something related to the new release directly.
