Cronic error, making me frustrated...

any help will be apperciated. ive uninstalled java and installed all updates. still same error, help please

You appear to running 5.0 update 2. I'd suggest downloading update 4 and seeing if the problem persists. If it does, and it sounds like you can duplicate the crash easily, then submit a bug which details how to duplicate - include the hs_err_<pid>.log file which will be generated at the time of the crash.

    DWCS3
    Rebuilding site -- I know this is a common problem, but what are the steps to resolve it?
    Error: "Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator.  The change will be discarded."
    Click OK and the change is made anyway, oftentimes resulting in loss of document CSS and dynamic code, which is then unretrievable. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!!
    There is another code at the top of all documents using the template:
    "<!-- InstanceBegin template="/Templates/index.dwt" codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked="false" -->"
    However, this line has always been in my previous documents and created no problem.
    The oddest thing is, I can be in an editable region of a document, click on an image to edit in Fireworks, edit, click DONE and it comes back in DW with that error. ???

    Looking at DW preferences, I found two Fireworks editors listed for .png, .gif, and .jpg.  Maybe that was causing a problem.
    Don't know if this will help, but....
    Here is sort of what my template code looks like:

    Have you configured your principal map? Connection pools are initially populated using the
              default ("*") principal from the map.

  • Error Making Socket Connection

    So, I'm trying to figure this out, I get this error after my code has compiled(Metrowerks CodeWarrior),the little dos run window comes up and afterwards I get this message "Error making socket connection". Anyone ever seen this? I'm running Windows 2000, CodeWarrior 5.0. Any ideas? Thanks

    I've seen it when ive had an error making the socket connection!
    Of course it was easier to fix my problem because I could see the code
    and didnt have to guess it.

  • "Authentication error", making disk image

    I'm trying to make a disk image of my OS X boot disk, as an emergency backup. I'm booting from the Installation CD that came with my Mac Pro, and using Disk Utility. I select my boot drive, click New Image, and tell it to save to an external firewire drive, compressed and encrypted. It starts and quickly errors out, with "Authentication error." What does this mean?
    I've used 250 GB of the 500 GB on my boot drive, and my external drive is 120 GB. I'd rather tell it to skip some files to save space, but it doesn't give me the option to do that. Will "compress" get it to be small enough? Is this why I'm getting an error? I've repaired permissions before booting from the CD.

    I don't know about the authentication error; however, to make a disk image of 250 GB source drive to a 120 GB target is an exercise in futility. There's not enough room. 250 GB? What are storing? A complete music store, the movies of Hollywood, or the pictures in an art gallery?
    If you want an emergency backup of your 500 GB HD, then you'll need an external at least as big. BTW, making disk images for this purpose is fraught with danger since you can't ensure that it's good until you restore it to a bootable HD. I strongly recommend something like Carbon Copy Cloner, SuperDuper!, etc. instead. BTW, you can just drag & drop any data files from one HD to another. There's no need to put them in a disk image and certainly no need to encrypt things. If you decide to go the bootable backup route, move the data files to root-level and don't back those up. That should make your emergency backup a lot smaller.

  • While installing latest update I lost ability to open Itunes.  Getting "runtime error" and then next box says error 1114.  Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and does not work.  Getting same error.  Very frustrating.

    Cannot open Itunes after trying to install latest update.  Getting runtime error and then error 1114.  Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still getting same error.  How do I fix this.  Very frustrating!

    Hi there,
    Earlier iTunes (and supporting applications) need to be completely uninstalled before you can install the new version. Here's the complete Apple info on this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
    Mobile device application will most likely fail to uninstall, so you would need to visit its location(s) and manually delete the files then folder(s). The location of the folders is documented in this link from Apple.
    It's a pain, but it should work.

  • Unknown error making the ibooks export file

    Hi,
    Have done it hundred times already but for some reason now I get "a unknown error" in the proces of making the .ibooks export file out of the .iba.
    Does somebody have a clue what first things first I have to check? Put already some back-ups back but also the same problem.
    working on Mountain Lion 10.8 OSX, ibooks author 1.1 (190). Dutch versions.
    Book counts 225 pages (@astro_andre), IBA file is 1,16 Gb, ibooks file appr. 750 Mb

    Solved. There was an error somewhere in the book. Chapterheading and text frame overlapped.

  • Error making recording offline

    I have tried doing "make offline" on multiple recording, on multiple computers and keep having the same error:
    About 1 minutes into the recording, the video becomes very narrow, messing up the aspect ratio and making it unwatchable. I'm not able to turn any of my meetings in watchable files.
    I've tried this on MAC/PC, windows xp, vista and 7. Also tried different resolutions on my computer screen, still the same problem.
    Does anyone know how to resolve this?

    What are you trying to print and what is your operating system on the computer you are using? Does it take a long time to print from your computer or the iPad? Have you had this issue for long?
    For now I am going to recommend we remove and reinstall the software onto your computer as a preliminary step.
    First if you use a USB cord, make sure to remove it. Do not plug it back in until the software directs you to. Then go through the Devices and Printers, Programs and Features and Device Manager folders and insure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. Then as directed, restart the computer.
    In the START menu type "%temp%" and press ENTER. Here I want you to press Ctrl+A and hit DELETE. Some of the files will not allow you to delete them, skip those files and delete the majority that allows it.
    Then follow this link to download the full feature software and drivers for the printer:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=4323648
    Install that and let me know the result!
    Have a great day!

  • Can anyone help me with this 1120 error? So frustrated...

    I have those two objects homeS and galleryS and two corresponding functions to change the size of their layer masks. The structure of the two are
    exactly the same except for their names and positions. However, only one of them functions.
    The instance's name is the same in the code and there is only one key frame in the layer where movieClip "galleryMsk" is.
    But Flash always through this 1120 error saying "undefined property galleryMsk"...
    I don't know why it happens since part I is functioning perfectly.
    The only thing is that object "homeMsk" and object"galleryMsk" are in the same layer mask, does that cause the trouble?
    I am so frustrated and I cannot focus on anything else in the whole day...couldn't even sit down and watch tv happily...
    Here are the two parts of the code. Part I is working Part II is not...
    homeS.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER,f_homeDisplay);
    function f_homeDisplay(event:MouseEvent):void
              homeBtn.gotoAndPlay("home_pass");
              changeContent(homeMsk,-62.8,0);
              changeContent(homeS, -62.8,0);
              homeS.removeEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER,f_homeDisplay);
         }  //Part I
    galleryS.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER,f_galleryDisplay);
    function f_galleryDisplay(event:MouseEvent):void
              galleryBtn.gotoAndPlay("gallery_pass");
              changeContent(galleryMsk,-56.55,160);
              changeContent(galleryS, -56.55,160);
              galleryS.removeEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER,f_galleryDisplay);
         } //Part II

    never mind the paragraph at the bottom of this reply, I just got it. I found the instance galleryMsk,
    I can't upload the image now because of some strange reason,
    but it is basically a symbol with a red dot under and it says "mask3, <galleryMsk>", like this:
    Scene1
    - Symbol Definition(s)
          - buttons
              - mask3, <galleryMsk>
    It only showed the objects which are in my major scene, but all those layers are actually inside a movie clip called "buttons", I see "buttons" in the movie explorer, but I don't know how to search for the content inside...

  • "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured (-1202) - FRUSTRATED

    Hi,
    I had been using iTunes version 10.7 till i started getting the error "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured (-1202). I tried to troubleshoot it but didnt work, therefore i upgraded to the latest iTunes version 11, and this didnt solve the problem either. Now i have reverted back to the older version of 10.7, have even restored my system to some earlier date when everything was working but issue still exists. I have noticed many people have also experienced this issue but most of them faced this with the latest version of iTunes 11. Please suggest - i am frustrated now and have almost given up.
    Thanks
    Hassaan

    I have the same problem PLUS I get the "Genius is temporarily unable to show you related music..." whenever I select a song. This occurs even when I log in as Administrator. Updating to 8.0.1 did not fix either problem.
    I can access the iTunes Store and download music. Genius had no problems uploading my iTunes Library info, and it can create playlists for selected songs. I believe this rules out communications and authorization problems. I have a G4 Mac Mini, a G5 PowerPC, and an Intel iMac with the same problem, so it's unlikely to be a Mac hardware issue. A firewall problem was unlikely (since I can access the iTunes Store), but I tested this with the firewall off. Both problems still remained. Updating Genius, turning Genius off and then on again, reinstalling iTunes 8, updating to 10.5.5, etc. did not work.
    The only unusual factor is that I have HughesNet satellite 'broadband.' I cannot see how that would matter, but perhaps the individual song iTunes Store and Genius features don't get along with something in my HughesNet 'modem.' Any ideas from other users?

  • The context has expired and can no longer be used errors making farm unusable

    There are a couple of other posts on this forum about the message "The context has expired and can no longer be used" but they all suggest something related to time and time zone differences. This is not the case in my farm and I have disabled
    the security checking of requests on my web applications. Hopefully someone at Microsoft is very aware of this and is working to resolve it because my farm and many others are unusable like this.
    I have dug through all of the ULS errors when it happens and there is nothing useful. It barely even registers as a message although, I have not turned on verbose logging, which I am about to try. I have SP 1 installed. Just to be clear, this is happening
    on SharePoint 2013 Enterprise.
    I have been fighting this for a month. I can add a few things about the farm I am trying to fix:
    1. It was a WSS 3.0 farm that when through a 2007-2010-2013 migration in short order.
    2. I believe it is under-powered on the hardware side. All VMs on a host shared with 40 other VMs, some fairly busy. Here's the virtual farm breakdown:
      -1 WFE with 12GB RAM and 2 cores
      -3 app servers with similar resources
      -No paging file on C: on any VM. This is a decision by sysadmin. Paging on D: is system managed. Probably irrelevant.
    3. Rapidly clicking from link to link seems to bring on the failure much sooner.
    Any suggestions even about how to troubleshoot this would be appreciated.

    Ultimately, I think it is a time sync issue across the farm. We still have request management off on all boxes because I cannot get the admins to resolve this issue but, in my lab environment I ran into a similar thing.
    I may turn RM back on later to see if it comes back but here's what I think happens: In production we have 2 ESXi hosts and our SP environment is all AD (of course). The clocks are all out of sync, sometimes beyond 5 minutes. (The time sync for AD is something
    I believe a lot of admins don't understand when running virtual.)
    If you allow ESXi to try to sync the time for all guests you run into problems. Maybe they are more pronounced with SharePoint. Anyway, VMware and AD start fighting over the time (check your event logs) and, for us, the clocks across the domain get out of
    sync beyond the 5 minute allowable window.
    I recommend disabling time sync from host to guest and do what MS recommends: make your domain controller the master time server and configure it to get its time from a reliable source (which can be a single hardware host over NTP). Make other domain controllers
    sync from the PDC. The other windows machines will all sync to the domain when they log in. This will prevent SharePoint from issuing tokens from one machine that are out of sync time-wise with the other machines and thus throwing the "Context has expired
    and can no longer be used" errors.
    Note that disabling host to guest time sync is not as simple as just clearing / un-checking the box in the VSphere client. That doesn't do it. You will need to Google for the 6 or so custom properties you must add to each guest to prevent VMWare from re-synchronizing
    after certain hardware events.

    Hi,
    This thread is a while back, so you have probably solved this - but just in case, the issue is probably because there is an "-liconv" directive missing from the compile command line - at least, this is what I have found.
    The question remains as to why this is the case - probably that has something to do with the original configure.

    I can find libgnomevfs-2 in /usr/include/gnome-vfs-2.0 but I don't know what to do about the undefined reference. What should I do?

    /usr/bin/ld: warning: libgnutls.so.13, needed by /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.3.1/../../../libgnomevfs-2.so, not found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link)
    libgnomevfs-2.so is looking for version 13 of libgnutls.so, which it's never going to find because you have a much newer version.  libgnomevfs-2.so is provided by the gnome-vfs package.  What version of gnome-vfs do you have?
    DO NOT create a symlink from version 26 to version 13 of libgnutls.so (it's explained quite clearly here:  http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=46887.
    Edited for clarity.

  • Error making zabbix agent on OSX

    I am installing the 1.4.2 agent on a OSX 10.4.10 Server machine that has XCode installed. I have also encountered the same problem on 10.4.8 Server, 10.4.6 Server, and 10.3.8 Server.
    I ran the ./configure --enable-agent and it checked out fine, then I ran 'make' and got this error:
    /usr/bin/ld: Undefined symbols:
    res_9init
    res_9query
    collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
    make[2]: * [zabbix_agent] Error 1
    make[1]: * [all-recursive] Error 1
    make: * [all-recursive] Error 1
    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Hmm, it would seem that I needed to put escape characters to get that code to display properly. Please see the following:
    /usr/bin/ld: Undefined symbols:
    res_9init
    res_9query
    collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
    make[2]: * \[zabbix_agent] Error 1
    make[1]: * \[all-recursive] Error 1
    make: * \[all-recursive] Error 1

  • Error making Foreign Keys

    Hi,
    I get an error trying to create foreign keys.
    The message reads "Parent keys not found".
    I have the primary keys in my parent table.
    Any thoughts what it could be?
    Thanks,

    Hi All,
    Please check this:
    ORA-02298 cannot validate (string.string) - parent keys not found
    Cause: An ALTER TABLE ENABLE CONSTRAINT command failed because
    the table has orphaned child records.
    Action: Make sure that the table has no orphaned child records before issuing
