Crop Tool -- shortcut to advance to next frame since forward arrow doesn't work in crop tool?

Hi,
As a pro, I crop all my photos.
I normally use the forward arrow to move through each image, but with the crop tool the forward arrow doesn't work for advancing to the next frame.
It only adjusts the crop.
This is extremely frustrating for me as it slows down my workflow.
Is there a one key shortcut, within the Crop Tool -- that permits us to move forward from frame to frame?
I wish the forward key worked for this within the crop tool!
Is there an easy answer or a way to format something in Lightroom -- so I can have a one-key method to advance frames within the Crop tool?

I just tested it on my Mac and it worked with the Command + arrow Key...
However, using two fingers for this shortcut is a little clumsy and uncomfortable...
I think there's a way to create your own keyboard shortcuts -- do you know how to do this, maybe assigning a single key which would be a little easier?

Why the shortcut of switch to next/previous tab(ctr+tab) doesn't work?(firefox 6)

I recently update firefox 6.0 version, but I can't use the shortcut(ctr+tab) to switch to next/previous tab. I download an extension called Customizable Shortcuts, also I can't find the item of witch to next/previous tab in it.
How can I fix this problem? It is really necessary for me.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Need Help for a simple Keypress to advance to next frame

Hi all,
I am pretty weak at Action script. I need to create a simple presentation that displays a bunch of photos. I want to be able to hit the space bar to advance to next picture. I am able to stop the playhead at the picture, but i want to advance to next labelled frame by hitting the space bar. Some help would be great.

Thanks for the quick response, I have a 4 pictures on 4 seperate layers. The starting keyframe for each picture is labeled "Slide 01"," Slide 02" etc. When i test movie, it automatically plays the first picture labeled "Slide 01". At the end that slides frames I have a stop action. When I hit the space bar, i want the playhead to jump to the next slide which it's start keyframe is labeled "Slide 02". It has a few frames to allow for fadeing in, and then a stop action on the last keyframe. And so on.
I entered your code and placed the goto and play event handler to jump to the next slide's keyframe which i labeled "Slide 02". I did get the following error:

GoToAndStop or Play on Frame Label with Video doesn't work?

I have a video in a frame that corresponds with the label "eight". i have a button on the timeline with the following code. i've tried it both gotoAndStop and gotoAndPlay and it doesn't work. thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I have lost past pages drop down arrow next to bas/forward arrows

To the right of the back forward arrows there used to be a downward pointing arrow which when clicked showed a list of previous pages view in that tab.
How can I re install this please?

( Windows) right click the arrows and the listing will appear. The change may well be documented somewhere but if so I do not recall where. Presumably other OS such as Mac's will also have the feature using some other shortcut.

Keyboard shortcut to advance to next message

Is there any way to advance to the next message in Mail when you have a message open and you don't use the pane? In Entourage I could hit Opt+] to move through a list of messages, closing the one I had open and opening the next one automatically, which is especially handy when you are trying to quickly go through multiple results in a search query.
If this is not something that Mail can do out of the box, are there any ad-ons available to give Mail this functionality? This is a huge feature in my view and I'm surprised it's not intuitive, or possibly even included.

End loop then advance to next frame

I'm building a presentation and I'd like it if I could set up the following:
There's a looping animation. It starts and ends with a solid transition to something else. However, I'm building this for a separate presenter (seveal, in fact) and I don't want to have to teach the timing over and over again. Plus I want this to be more consistant then the hope and pray method.
What I want to happen:
The presenter clicks the remote. The animation plays to the end of it's loop, then the slide transitions to the next slide. Advice?

OSX 10.8.4
Keynote '09, Version 5.3

if you are creating the loop animation within Keynote:
create a new Keynote file
add the images you want to animate
Inspector > Build: select a build effect then more options, select start build: to automatically after prior
create the QuickTime file: Keynote > Share > QuickTime and set it to loop
create a new presentation
place the QuickTime file on slide 1
Inspector > Transition > select a transition effect and choose start transition on click
create a new slide and add the content you want

when you click on an object with black arrow, it converts to free transform automatically.
so as many people might do, I used black arrow to re-size or rotate etc etc. rather than using free transform tool.
but it suddenly not working. Did I press wrong key by accident or something?

Actually, assuming the Selection Tool now selects, it started working, so you must have pressed the right key or something.

Clicking on Firefox's shortcut to specific profile when it's already open doesn't work. What am I missing?

Well, that's a hard problem to describe in one sentence.
I'm currently using windows. I have 2 Firefox profiles, and each of them have desktop shortcuts to:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -no-remote -P "Developer"
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -no-remote -P "Lazy"
They work just fine. The thing is: if the profile is already active and I click the shortcut, I get a "Firefox already running but not responding" error (Firefox just fails to open. The current opened window still works). The behavior I want is either maximize/focus the corresponding window, or open a new window with the same profile. Is it possible to achieve this? What am I missing?
I don't know if I'm being clear. In other words:
- Desktop shortcut to specific profile works fine
- While profile is open, double click the same desktop shortcut
- Receive a "Firefox already running" error popup
- Press ok, current profile still working but new window is not opened as expected

Match-Frame with merged clip doesn't work

I have a merged clip forged from one video clip (with four channels of audio) and two audio clips, so the resulting merged clip has six channels of audio.
Merged via in-point, everything's in synch, fine.
Edit the merged clip into timeline.
Match frame.
Problem:
It matches to a clip with the same name as my merged clip... but it's not my merged clip because it's only got the four audio channels from my video source clip.
I've tried different clips, tried linked or unlinked, same result.
To boot, if in the timeline I select only audio channel #5 (which was from one of the audio source clips) and match-frame, it matches to the same pseduo-master clip, but, is several frames or seconds off.
Ideas anyone?

Interesting... if I make a merged clip and name it "Apple" then place it in the timeline, the timeline clip is also named Apple. If I then in the browser change the clip's name to "Brother" and put it again in the timeline, it puts in a clip called "Apple"; and the first clip in the timeline is also still called Apple. But if I delete the Apple clips from timeline, and now put in Brother clip, it puts in a clip called Brother..... as if it's not updating the name-change. So that's weird.
But, none of the name-changing affects the match-fame problem; it still fails.

Next and previous slide doesn't work

Hey all,
I'm working on a presentation in Captivate 3. I've added 2
buttons in the slides, 1 button to go to the next slide and the
other jumps to the previous slide. But when I test the
presentation, the slide keeps repeating itself. In other words, it
seems that the 'go to next or previous slide' function doesn't
work. I've also tried 'jump to slide *, but this doesn't work
either. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
And my next question is: How can I 'stop' a slide from moving
on to the next slide? Like in PPT it stops automatically, and
progresses with a mouse click or key press.

Hi Frederik
Normally the presence of a button or a click box will pause
the slide. Are you saying this isn't the case?
Can you describe how exactly you are expecting things to work
when you play the project?

In Firefox 4 the dropdown menu next to the forward button in the Navigation Toolbar that allowed the user to select another page in the history to go back to is gone. Why?

In Firefox 3, the user could access a dropdown menu by hovering over a small black arrow next to the forward arrow in the Navigation Toolbar. This allowed the user to go to earlier pages in the browser history, rather than using the back button to go to the immediate previous page.
After updating to Firefox 4, this menu disappeared. Was it moved? Was it removed?
I found this feature to be very useful. Why was it changed?

There are two ways to get this: (1) Hold the back button until the menu appears (2) Right click the back button. See the screenshot below for reference.

I just can't find any keyboard shortcut to advance one frame forward/backwards while working with a video file in PS3 Extended.
Would be very helpfull while painting, cloning etc.

In case, exporting single frames is your prefered share-option:
Open Prefs/Destinations
ctrl-click on 'Export actual frame'
set to 'Standard:
From now on, hit cmd-E to export the actual frame ...
And no '' here, this is a User2user board ...
